How are Fox opinion shows not openly racist? Fox aired "Freshmen Insurrection!" with photos of four congresswomen of color being discussed by the whitest, blondest host you'll ever see on TV. The opening screen was designed to look like a warning.
It's a story about freshman, not brown people, how's this , I always found it offensive that almost all the news channels decide, we'll send a brown reporter to cover a story about brown people , now that's racist, like there's a secret hidden language amongst the brothers and sisters ? or we need to use a brown reporter as a translator? I don't find using a blonde white woman reporting on these newby nut jobs at all , as for Fox, I don't like them ,nor CNN or MSNBC, I don't watch TV , and I especially don't need some failed actor or actress spoon-feeding me 30 second sound bytes, of an issue that contains 10s of thousands of documents, yeah I watched a half an hour tv show containing 9 minutes of commercial , 3 minutes of BS production ,( crappy music and lousy footage as the intro and outro) all and all it was 18 minutes and I am now so informed, cause some chucklehead on tv told me I'm informed cause their station is number 1 , in news ,and these are the stories you need to know , cause the failed drama major on tv said so
Why do people dislike Disney so much?
On youtube most Disney cartoon videos have about 50% dislike! Why are people so upset over Disney? Yes Disney has the problem with racial undertones in their movies, propaganda during WWII and the red scare. Princesses are too reliant on princes blah blah blah. I don't see the big deal, to me I just watch all Disney movies with a grain of salt, Disney now makes very independent princesses Belle, Mulan, merida, Rapunzel, Tiana, Also I know that their movies butcher the originals I've read all the Grims stories and the little mermaids original, the fox and hound original, the hunchback of notre Dame, the Jungle book(written by racist imperialist Kipling). I don't begrudge them for changing it so much. I just can't make myself mad at them, maybe the problem is me. There are Disnye cartoons that are racist, full of propaganda and just sexist. But the cartoons are like that because they are a reflection of what society was then. It's a very important part of history! And by looking at the cartoons from then and now and seeing how much we've changed is amazing. Only thing is, although we're generally a more tolerant society, our cartoons suck. I don't want to go back to the 1940s(I'm not that ignorant) I just wish we made creative and clever cartoons like in the 1940-50s. Can't you just enjoy something for what it is? Not all of them are bad, there's a good side and bad side to all societies. Why do people hate on Disney so much? What is their problem still?

I have a younger sister who, for some reason, loves these shows. I THOROUGHLY AGREE!!!! They are absolutely horrible. One show, in particular, of Icarly I was like so if you don't kiss a guy by the time you are twelve you're a complete nerd? That is one way to tear down a girl's self esteem! About the victorious thing... did you see the episode where they get stuck inside someone's trailer. Kat (one of the main characters) is the only one that is on the outside. And for some stupid reason or the other, she ends up in her bikini "squeeing" whilst playing with squirt guns with four other guys? I was like "what is this"?!?! I thought it was really inappropriate! Also, the blatant lack of respect they show for elders on Icarly is just ridiculous! Poor Disney is just dying.
Why does Disney Channel encourage kids to be so superficial?
I mean, look at all their shows! In each of them the main character is stupid or dump and every time they make fun of the smart characters, calling them "nerds". Oh, and btw I've never seen a main disney character wearing classes or braces, and they also make fun of the ones who wear such king of things (ex Hannah Montana). And they are all so skinny and make-up-ed that they seem older than they are! I mean, in the first season of Hannah Montana, Miley was 14. Well, she didn't look like 14... And in the show, she was always complaining about boys (like "Oh my God! I'm 14 and I don't have a boyfriend!" BIG DEAL!)....Ok, now call me stupid, I don't care, but I don't think this is a good example for children...
No gay couples on the disney channel?
I have completely given up on the disney channel. They've gotten rid of all the good shows and all of the good movies. I miss the days of cartoons and disney princesses. But now it's all live action crap with skinny bimbos for the lead character. So I thought that if they're going to have a show with real people, it should be about real people. And why can't those people be homosexual? Does disney have something against gay people? You would think that because they usually show relationships with girl on guy, that they would have relationships with guy on guy, or girl on girl. Is there a reason for no homosexuality? And if you say the Jonas Brothers are gay, then I love you and that doesn't exactly answer my question.
