Why Am I Fatigue And Lousy All The Time Blood Tests Was Normal

Is it normal to feel weak and tired after donating blood?

Yes, it is normal. You should drink lots of liquids and and eat properly. The first time i donated blood, I felt really paranoid that something might go wrong. Avoid those thoughts and congratulate yourself for your awesome act of humanity!

Parathyroid Problem? or just a bad blood test.....?

Ok 2 tests, 2 different results. Try another test in another couple of weeks.

As far as seeing a specialist, I would hold off--for the time being.

Excessive ingestion of milk may cause increased levels of calcium. Serum pH can affect calcium levels. A decrease in the pH causes increased calcium levels. There is normally a small diurnal variation in calcium, with peak levels occurring around 9 pm.

Drugs that may cause increased serum levels include calcium salts, hydralazine, lithium, thiazide diuretics, thyroid hormone, alkaline antacides, androgens, vitamin D, and other obscure drugs.

Drugs that may cause decreased serum levels include acetazolamide, anticonvulsants, asparaginase, aspirin, calcitonin, cisplatin, corticosteroids, heparin, laxatives, loop diuretics, magnesium salts, diuretics, estrogens, albuterol, and oral contraceptives.

Increased levels of calcium indicate abnormal findings and occur with the following:

Hyperparathyroidism
Nonparathyroid PTH-producing tumor (e.g. lung or renal carcinoma)
Metastatic tumor to the bone
Paget's disease of the bbone
Prolonged immogilization
Milk-alkali syndrome
Vitamin D intoxication
Lymphoma
Granulomatous infections (e.g., sarcoidosis and tuberculosis)
Addison's disease
Acromegaly
Hyperthyroidism

Can drinking water help lower the level? Dehydration can affect the pH levels and could affect the calcium levels.

The main point here is how you feel. Do you still feel funky or like there is something wrong? If so, continue to have tests.

If you ultimately feel better, then continue drinking the correct amounts of water and monitor how you feel.

It couldn't hurt to check back in a couple of months and get another check. Since you are on ADD meds, don't drink alcoholic beverages.

Best of luck with your health! Remember, if you feel there is a problem, continue with the search for the reason.

Why do I feel tired after donating blood?

Simple. Blood is what keeps your energy up and what makes you function. It is the substance that keeps all of your organs working correctly. If you are short on blood, then naturally, you're going to feel tired and drained because you're literally drained. Blood carries oxygen throughout your body. Without oxygen, you are definitely going to slow down.

Why am I always feeling fatigued/tired all the time? My body is always feeling sore and fatigued and lacking energy. I take multivitamins daily, I have regular blood tests that are normal, I sleep a good 7-9 hours each night. What am I missing?

There are tons of possibilities. Be careful when researching them, as many of the things that can jump out unnecessarily fast tend to border on nightmares. It could be as simple as diet, particularly blood sugar, or maybe just the times of day you eat different things.Even the things that pop culture and people with little or no medical experience point out as being horrible can often be no big deal. Part of that is because it's the extreme situations that tend to stand out the most for many people.Lots of times even the sort of conditions that tend to get nightmare attention aren't quite as bad as the extreme examples that stand out the most. Quite a few conditions that can be very serious are actually surprisingly managable, when you have the facts and appropriate solutions presented to you. In many of what tend to sound like the worst case scenario, such as cancer, a lot of the symptoms that are similar to yours are actually as simple to treat as dietary adjustments. Treating *symptoms* isn't always the same as treating the problem itself, but many symptoms can have surprisingly easy solutions.I hope you feel better soon and that it's nice and simple :)

Why do we feel weak after donating blood?

Its more of a feeling of "lightness" than weakness. It is caused by the lowered blood sugar to the brain. Your blood sugar has lowered because the amount of blood taken also had a certain amount of blood sugar. Since it is suddenly missing, the body reacts poorly to this loss of sugar.  The symptoms include onset of nausea, headaches, shakiness, paresthesia, hunger, fatigue...and so on. However, to quickly deal with hypoglycemia directly after a substantial loss of blood, sit with your head to your knees (parallel to the floor), as this lowers your brain and facilitates the blood-flow to the brain, allowing more blood sugars to reach it quickly. However, having carbohydrate-rich foods cure this.  It will help normalize the sudden change in blood sugar and will help you feel more normal sooner. The "Weakness" you feel is due to the sudden loss of blood pressure due to the blood loss but the body compensates this loss by retaining fluid in the kidneys by concentrating the urine.

How do I differentiate between chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and depression?

Dear, visit a real good specialist,a neurologist.to say accurately is it CFS and fibromyalgia or depression.I am inclined to think that if you not present the symptoms of depression it is more likely you not to suffer from it..and there's so sure solution and also harmless..for CFS is reqiered to be treated simply with the addition of arginine aspartame,so try it..Sargenor is one product which contains it and you can buy it without prescription and has no side effects..Unfortunately,too many specialist don't pay the needed attention and are inclined to superficial answers like too much stress, just a case of depression etc.I really suggest you to try(again I repeat Aspartame is totally free and taken even without a prescription will not harm you)..Sagenor..I suffered from CFS and that helped me within 10 days.I also suffered from depresson and can tell there's a great difference between them!! Good luck and if you need more info or whatever I'll be glad to answer you!!

Can impacted wisdom teeth cause vertigo, fatigue, lightheaded and anxiety?

for the past couple of months i've had all these symptoms, but not all at the same time. I've been to the doctor twice, and had a few blood test done, but as usual, I'm perfectly fine. It just came to my attention that my jaw hurts a lot, and that my two bottom wisdom teeth are impacted. Even though I don't have any pain inside my mouth can it be the impacted teeth causing me the group of symptoms? also, about 5 months ago my left side of my face became numbed for a few days, could it have been an infection? I have my appointment next week, but i just want to know if these symptoms can be related. thanks for any help.

I get tired around 3pm everyday. Is this normal?

Have you had a checkup by a doctor? And standard blood test? The risk one runs with being a vegetarian is not getting enough, or any, B vitamins, which are important for your health. If you know you are vitamin D deficient, why aren’t you taking a vitamin D supplement? Are you anemic (another risk of not eating meat)? In general I don’t believe in vitamin supplements, but I’m not a vegetarian or vegan so my vitamin and mineral intake is pretty good, as verified by an annual blood test. As an “old” woman, though, my body doesn’t manufacture enough Vitamin D (the “sunshine vitamin”) so I have to take that supplement (Vitamin D is about the only vitamin that the human body manufactures).Last suggestion - it took a long time for me to tell my doctor that I was getting tired in the afternoon. Foolish, as it turns out that I have moderately severe sleep apnea. Easy fix, life is a lot better now in my dotage. Your sleep pattern is pretty much what mine is/was, too, though I often woke in the middle of the night.I think you should see a doctor and be clear about what your concerns are and what your diet consists of. Any answer from me or any other stranger cannot replace a doctor’s diagnosis after various tests. See your doctor.
