There are lots of things that are neither troll nor stupid questions that you might not want publically associated with your name.Sexual questions - this could be out of embarrassment, or local repression, or simply a desire for privacyMedical questions - probably don't want the world to know about your rash, pus, etc.Legal questions - perhaps you've done something and aren't sure of the legality, or it is something that is illegal in your country, but not elsewhere, or something that you think shouldn't be illegalPolitical views - unpopular views can get you fired - perhaps you work for a religiously conservative group, but believe that gay marriage should be legalized.Job questions - a boss might think you are unqualified if you ask an overly simple question related to your field.Don't want a question associated with your persona - perhaps you have a serious persona, but want to ask a somewhat frivolous question or vice versa.Question might be offensive to some people - there are legitimate queries about a number of topics that people won't like and will cause people to draw adverse inferences about you.
