Why Are Black People So Afraid Of Animals

Why do black people act like animals?

I actually agree with you. But not all black people are that way, there are some respectable non-thug ones. It all comes down to the way they were raised. Their parents were probably raised like that then at their house they take after their parents and are just a general asshole. I don't know where it came from originally but I guess acting tough and bitchy gets you places at their home so they just want control of everything everywhere. Sadly, I don't think there is anything we can do about it.

Why are black people so afraid of rats?

I am not racist! These are my friends also! Even when I worked at pet stores I noticed a fear of rats in my african american coworkers. And by fear, they are truly terrified. It bothers me because I don't like my pets scaring my friends. If I could get some insight on this fear, perhaps I could help them eliminate these feelings.

Why are black people afraid of snakes?

I don't find it to be an issue with any praticular race. Most of my friends of any race react negatively when they hear of the various herps I have. However culturally it is possible that your black friends are more boisterous in expressing their feelings than your friends of other races.

Why are white people afraid of black people but they aren't afraid of handling dangerous animals?

It is a situational thing. Many Blacks are personal friends, colleagues, and co-workers with me. And, Blacks, drunk or high on drugs, raving on a sidewalk, brandishing a knife or a gun will turn me whiter than I already am.

Why are people so afraid of rats?

People tend to be afraid of animals which move oddly and/or which suddenly dart out at you when you didn’t know they were there - birds, spiders, bats, snakes etc. Wild rats are very good at remaining invisible until you get too close and then suddenly scuttling across your foot, and wild brown rats have a weird sort of boing-boing-boing gait, as if they were part wallaby, and are so fast they ricochet off the walls. However, people in Asia tend to regard rats the way Europeans regard rabbits - really cute, and potentially edible if you’re down on your luck.

Why are people afraid of snakes?

An Australian wildlife TV presenter named Harry Butler once commented that snakes are perfectly safe. He said, “You can walk past a snake at any time and it won’t attack. Unless, for some snakey reason that you couldn’t possibly understand, he’s in a bad mood. Then he’ll bite.”We are naturally apprehensive of animals that bite—snakes, spiders, tigers, hippos, even dogs—and the snake is no different. My personal experiences with snakes, and there have been a few, have all been good, but I still treat them with respect.About 1985, my wife, Lynne, and I had a close call while cycling through Cranebrook—a semi-rural area in Sydney's west. Cranebrook Road was an acne of pot holes with rough verges. It was just wide enough for two cars to pass comfortably so we were riding in single file and keeping well to the left. There was a car behind us waiting for an opportunity to overtake and two more approaching from the front when, just as we were all converging, I saw a big Eastern Brown snake moving from right to left across the road. I shouted, "Snake!" swerved to the right, and just had room to squeeze between its tail and the first oncoming car.It not only scared me, it frightened the living daylights of the snake which reared up, leaving Lynne room to move past in front of it. I hadn't taken my eyes off the thing and, as I watched to see how she was faring, it struck at her.The snake didn't have a chance! It's surprising what a bit of adrenaline will do but Lynne went through that gap so fast she could have qualified for the Olympics. She was still laughing when I caught her about a kilometre down the road. When she finally slowed down I remarked, "It's interesting to watch a snake strike at someone when you're not involved yourself."I should have known better! Two weeks later I cornered too fast on a slippery surface, hit a strip of reflective tape, and bounced my new helmet off the road. Lynne had a quick look to see how badly I was injured then quipped brightly, "It's interesting to watch someone fall off a bike when you're not involved yourself."

Why do people fear black people?

Some people have prejudicial views about other people for a variety of reasons. Media propaganda, social media bias, misinformation, and ignorance all contribute to the Single Story Narrative. What's the Single Story Narrative?I'm black, and African, and for a long time I had prejudicial views about Nigerians, that made me fear them. The reason for this was simple: all I ever heard about Nigerians was negative. From financial scams, to drugs, to black magic, to … well, all sorts of crimes and cons (I've put an emphasis on the “heard” to show that I made no effort, at the time, to find out more, or different. I just took what I heard, to be all there was to know… a personal failing that I have since tried to rectify).'Crooked' was the main story that was availed to me. The only story. The single story. It fed my prejudices, which in turn birthed my fear. All this, and I had never personally dealt with any Nigerians. Never been conned or scammed by one. Never been black magicked or whatnot…My fears were based on other people's one-sided, biased, accounts - not my own experience. I fed my prejudices from other people's prejudices. When I finally got the opportunity to personally interact with Nigerians, the cognitive dissonance I experienced was profound. What I thought I knew vs what I actually experienced were so staggeringly different, my mind had to take a seat to obsorp it all.In Nigeria I met intelligent, well spoken people with integrity. Hard working people making honest livings. Witty and humourous and generous people. In Nigeria, I got to see, not hear, all the narratives of this vibrant, dynamic society. And I was deeply ashamed of my previously held myopic, prejudicial views. The danger of the single story is that it paints an entire group of people with a broad brush. I've learned that no single race, society, or individual, for that matter, can be defined by a single story, or painted in a single colour. As humans, we're all so diverse, so different, so dynamic, so vibrantly colourful… even within our individual races. We fear others simply because sometimes we choose, or are misled, through ignorance and/or misinformation, to see them in one angle or pay heed to just that one story (usually the worst). Life is a collection of many different stories making up the whole. Focusing on just one story can be misleading and creates fear which often is of great deservice to others and to ourselves.

Why are Hasidic Jews and majority of Black People afraid of Dogs?

I live in NYC, and the building I grew up in, has a few Hasidic families in them. My family has some very close friends who are Jewish, and they don't even bat an eye when around our Chocolate Lab. But the Hasidic Jews run like I am walking with the plague. This is most evident when the local Jewish school is playing in the park, THEY ALL FREAK OUT! Now it has been 65 years since the end of WWII, and I am not trying to belittle the atrocity that was the Holocaust (Original meaning: A sacrificial offering that is consumed entirely by flames) but GROW UP. Get over the predigious fear of them, the same can be said of Black People (African-American is BullSh*t, were you born in Africa?). Get over your Fears, and get out of the Dark Ages. I mean no Hate, but I hate willful Ignorance in any form, and I am Ignorant of quite a few things, thats why I am Asking. If its a religious condition, Why? If its because Grandma KEEPS TELLING the same horror story about WWII over and over, WHY? The Civil Rights movement is still happening, BUT DOGS are not used by cops that way any more. so why? It is true that, I am apprehensive of Pit-bull Terriers, but they, as a breed have been given a bad name, so I Profile. Don't be afraid of the Dog, But the HUMAN who commands the dog. They are DOGS, MAN'S BEST FRIEND, and why are they called this? BECAUSE THEY DO WHAT WE TELL THEM TOO. Dogs are not evil, People are. when you see a Vicious dog, it never learned Love, only Hate, or survival. Now I am Sure that I will get a lot of people who will think negative of this post, You know what? I Don't Care, why? You are stuck in your own little world, and can never see it form someone else's point of view, "let him without sin Cast the first stone." John 8:7
Once you conquer Fear, Life is beyond our Dreams.
