Do legitimate people sell wine under the Eiffel tower in Paris?/ Was I drugged?

1) Various street traders sell roses in the evening in most of the world capitals and large cities. Bottles of wine are less usual but probably were, like the roses, an incentive to couples to be "romantic" and the wine would not be drugged.
2) If you had been drugged for any evil intention, you would not have been able to walk let alone to run. Drinking wine on an empty stomach in the early hours, especially if it is the cheapest kind a street seller would peddle, would be bound to make you feel rough when you woke up. The wine just went to your head and the excitement of running away compounded its effects.
3) No. You actually let that man approach you and you played games with fake accents etc... instead of moving on immediately. Most sensible unescorted girls would not sit in a lesser frequented area of a public park "well past 1pm" drinking wine and and they certainly would not have spent any time answering the questions of a stranger for "at least another hour". They would have moved on the minute they were approached by any unknown man unless they were prostitutes looking for a pick up.
If by "horrible situation" you are thinking "drug+abduction+possible gang rape" or "kidnap", you are letting your imagination run away with you. You gave the wrong signals, period, and the man or men thought you were interested or cheap girls out for a lark. This could have happened in any major city in the world, for instance if you had been sitting chatting and drinking in Central Park in New York at two o'clock in the morning.
Let this be a lesson not to wander in the parks of an unknown city in the middle of the night without a male companion, and do not hanker after sensational scenarios inspired by ridiculous films such as "Taken" which are total fiction meant to titillate the general public.

Why do men wear vest undergarments?

I personally feel that men who wear “Inner-Vest” (Vest Undergarments is not a correct word) are far more hygienic and are one of those who are responsibly conscious about fashion they carry.Apologies. I am a women and won’t be judgmental about men in general, whatever i am sharing is here is my own personal views. Please don’t be offended.I have specially worked in fashion marketing sector for quite sometime now. Have consulted both men and women brands in this growing market. The reason why i feel men wear ‘inner vest’ or should be wearing if they aren't yet.especially in summer, most of the men don’t have liberty of wearing sleeveless tops or loose type material cloth like women do at work. So the body sweat which eventually strains formal or cotton cloths which also looks unhygienic and unprofessional. ‘Inner Vest’ actually protect the shirts by absorbing the sweat.Usually i have seen this problem with men shirts button which tends to get’s loose or broke and nobody really wants to do ‘peek-a-boo’. Vest somehow protects if been worn with same color shirt. Most of the men goes with naturally hairy body which actually makes the skin itchy if is been friction with outer material cloth. Inner Vest solve that problem.Last but not the least, The men with Beer belly, Fat belly or any big bellies (sorry, jokes apart) need inner vest for obvious reasons.Well, that’s my understanding. Hope this will help.

Do owls like sunlight?

With respect to their affinity to light, you can loosely categorize owls in two orthogonal ways.Category 1: By Activity timeDiurnal OwlsThese are typically owls that are active during the day. They use the sunlight to their advantage and absolutely love sunning themselves. Two species of owl are considered to be purely diurnal. The Northern Pygmy Owl and the Northern Hawk Owl. They are both skilled hunters that can catch their prey mid flight as well as pick them through the snow.Nocturnal OwlSome species like the Flammulated Owl and the Northern Saw-Whet are purely nocturnal. They will roost through the day and will rarely be seen when the sun is up. They primarily hunt insects at night and have adapted accordingly to track them in the dark.Crepuscular OwlsThese are the owls that are active primarily at dawn and dusk. Most owls fall into this third bucket. While they don’t have an affinity to strong sunlight, they do make use of the poor light conditions early in the morning and late in the evening to their advantage. This is also the time when their prey, often rodents, is most active. Some classic examples are the Snowy Owl and the Great Horned Owl.Category 2: By Habitat AffinityForest OwlsThe habitat of a species of owl also plays a role in determining its affinity to sunlight. Owls that spend most of their time in deep thick forests are less attracted to harsh sunlight and prefer the shadows. They have adapted very well to life amidst the dense trees. Some classic examples are the Barred Owl and the Great Gray Owl.Scrubland OwlsThese are owls that you will typically see out in the open fields and grasslands. They often hunt rodents and will use the sun on their back to their advantage. While most scrubland owls tend to be crepuscular, they will often be seen at dawn and dusk sunning themselves to get some sunlight into the feathers while they preen. Good examples would be the Short Eared Owl and the Long Eared Owl.In case we haven’t met before, I’m Rohan Kamath.Thank you for reading. I hope I could help you smile today. :)

Are owls smart?

No.As the world’s foremost owl expert, Jemima Parry-Jones says, “Owls are as thick as two short planks.”If you want to learn a great deal about owls, I strongly suggest you get her book, Understanding Owlsand/or her DVD on owls.Owls by Jemima Parry-JonesLet me put it this way. A budgie can out-think an owl. This is an owl skull. See how much space is taken up by the eyes? That is all space that is not taken up by the brain. But a lot of the area in that brain is taken up by the visual cortex, to process all that information coming in from those huge eyes.It gets more complicated than that. Here is the owl skull showing the ears.See the size of the ears? And how they are placed asymmetrically? This is because owls hunt by sound more than by sight (and their sight is unbelievably good). So a whole lot of that tiny little brain, which is about the size of an unshelled almond in a Great Horned Owl, is also taken up by the auditory cortex.Teeny, tiny brain. And it gets better than that. A lot of their hunting skill is hard-wired in the brain. Mostly, they just need to practice something they already know. So a lot of that teeny, tiny brain is made up of instinctual responses to hunting, mating, and parenting. This leaves practically nothing for actually thinking.Sadly, this means that owls are frequently too damn dumb to fly away when they are standing on something dead in the middle of the road and a car is bearing down on them.In fact, instead of “Who” their call probably ought to be variations on “Wut?”They are very, very good at what they do, which is hunt and mate and breed, not unlike tiger-sharks.They are very, very bad, not unlike tiger-sharks, at thinking.

Dream about a great horned owl last night?

Last night I had a dream about a Great horned owl--I was walking in a thick wooded area and suddenly saw an enormous great horned owl on the ground, I immediately recognized that it was a great horned owl and its size was just huge. The owl was kind of approaching me but then flew off and I didn't see it again. I didn't hear it hoot or screech, but it looked friendly like it wanted to talk, but then got afraid of me as i approached and flew off. I have NEVER in my life had a dream about an owl before and I usually forget my dreams-but this one made an impression. What does a dream about a Great Horned Owl mean specifically and its huge size? I haven't eaten anything too unusual I don't think. Thanks for your answers
