Why Are People On 4chan So Racist And Heartless

Why are people racist?

Some people have such low self worth they actually need to look down in others to make them feel better about themselves.Take a family of rural hayseeds. They have no running water, a dirty home, very little food and even less income due to being welfare recipients. Now, they're at the very bottom of the totem pole. However, when they see a family of Black Americans with both parents being college graduates and six figure incomes, what do they think? They think they are better than the well to do Black family because they're White. Never mind that their poor, lack ambition and can't afford decent clothes or a car.The Black people are beneath them simply because they're Black. These are the people who voted for racism and bigotry to run rampant in America.“Oh people are getting deported? So what?! They don't belong here anyway!” They forget their ancestors were once immigrants as well.Poor immigrants. It's a very sick mentality. And shameful. These people actually believe they are superior due to the color of their skin. They're usually miserable and unhappy toward every aspect of their lives.Instead of facing their issues and finding proper solutions, they'd rather focus on something they feel is easier and makes them happy: racism. They choose to be racist because:1. It's all they know.2. It relieves them of the responsibility of facing reality: they wind up in bad situations because of their choices. No one else's.3. They are such low, pathetic individuals they literally cannot face reality. Therefore, minorities are used as scapegoats. The hatred they exhibit is actually a reflection of self hating, narcissistic psychopathy. They may believe they are good, decent people. Yet, due to their mistakes made throughout history and during the last election, everyone else is suffering. They choose to be racist because they believe hatred will make them powerful. It won't. It never does. All it does is rob everyone of peace of mind, joy and safety. It robs everyone. Including them.Sadly, their minds are too clouded with poison to realize it. Consequently, they are always the last to know.Tragic.

Why are people on 4chan so racist and heartless?

Everything on /b/ is said in jest. The top of the page specifically says, "The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact." They're not actually racist. There are all different kinds of people there, black, gay, female... In real life they're friendly to each other.

It's true they do like shocking humor but when things get serious they stop joking. If someone is posting child porn the person will be banned for life. Many Anons from /b/ are good with a computer and hate those who hurt kids and cats. The Anonymous Wikipedia page says, 'Most notably, the group hacked a child pornography site called "Lolita City", releasing 1,589 usernames from the site.'

Heartless? They say /b/ has a heart and it's made of cats. There are multiple times that those members of Anonymous have found people who have posted videos of themselves abusing cats and the Anons have tracked those abusers down and passed their information over to the local police department. Most famous is Dusty the cat.

Why does 4chan have to be so mean to people sometimes?

I decided to respond to this question for 2 reasons. First, I travailed the /b/ board in the early 00’s and in those times 4Chan was essentially the Comedy Club of the internet. Second, everything was posted simply to see who could get the best lulz and it evolved, as things do, into what became known as The Internet Hate Machine. We all knew that when a newfag came to the board or one of the regular Anons posting there had an issue, our motto became ‘None of us are as cruel as all of us’ in some circles. After that, it morphed into the hornet’s nest that is Anonymous. This is a brief synopsis of what the people were and are. 4Chan as a whole is mean because it’s funny and you post anonymously.

What changed in society to make people so heartless?

The high standards. Today, you have to be successful right after you graduate. You have to get an amazing degree. You have to get a high-paying job. You have to be with elite circle of friends. You have to be someone you are not to exist in this society. You have to have titles, wealth and everything just to satisfy people’s interest. People become heartless because of the standards that continue to devour us from within. We seek perfection that it becomes an unhealthy obssession. If you will have a claim on the spot in the society where you feel belonged and that you actually fit in, you will destroy anything that gets in your way. Nearly everyone is greedy for attention and fame, trying to get their existence get noticed and begging everyone to see your worth. It’s sad, really. It’s a battlefield out there, most have an amazing advantage, some are trying to be someone else, others are barely making it through and then the rest are standing outside the arena, too afraid to be at war.

Are the racists on 4Chan trolling or not?

Impossible to answer that for everyone, but...I would guess most of these are small-time racists. In the sense they wouldn't join KKK or another racist group, but at the same time they aren't comfortable around different races. For example, if one of these guys is white, they almost certainly won't have a black as their best friend.4chan is chock-full with people trying to be tougher and meaner than they really are. They often claim they would like a second Holocaust, but most of them wouldn't be bothered to lift their ass out of the chair to actually do anything relevant at all.

Why is the 4chan board /pol/ so conservative?

Because 4chan is predominantly anonymous, and people who stand for racism and hate speech are usually a frustrated bunch of cowards who fear to be identified. Once they find out there are some online dens where of others of their kind squat, they’ll feel confident enough to vomit their ideas under the virtual certainty of no backlash or consequences. Loose control and moderation makes them feel shielded. This is not a problem faced only by 4chan, but you can find the same issue going on over and over again with reddit and even Facebook.

Why is 4chan's /pol/ section so racist?

They allow the forum because getting rid of it doesn’t get rid of people’s ideas and it is not the place of moderators to judge people’s opinions unless their opinions are to post child porn or make a bomb threat.I’ve heard before that the place was different when it started out but right wing users started being obnoxious so other people left then they all held each other to ideological purity tests and the echo chamber transformed into something… unique. Someday the board could become something else.Today it is kinda terrible. Okay, it is very terrible, a community is propagandizing itself, essentially.Users of other boards such as /b/ tend to hold a variety of political opinions yet tend to support:Internet anonymity(duh), internet privacy, freedom of speech, close the pool, quints can choose the next president, and any kind of edgy counterculture nihilism.Memes and the counter culture to not favor authoritarianism, if these people ever get real power they will be ousted from even their own boards because far right agitators play the victim under a false pretense of oppression by the mainstream.Once they get mainstream respect, ironically, the memes will fall out of their favor and it will collapse. Then 4chan can get back to attacking Scientology and animal abusers like they did in “the good ol days(/b/ was never good)”

Why is 4chan made up of weird, sick, and pedo people?

Who knows exactly why. The only thing that matters is that people on 4chan are the scum of the earth, the absolute lowest of the low. They’re the type of people who are so pathetic that they don’t know any way to get attention from other humans other than saying disgusting, inflammatory, wrong things because when you’re as pathetic and pointless as the people on 4chan, even a negative interaction is better than no interaction at all. The answers you received are a good indication of the ignorant, stupid and generally defective thought processes of 4chan idiots. Not being cool with people saying purposely disgusting, mean, racist, generally hateful and ignorant things does not make one “thin skinned”. It just means that you’re a GOOD PERSON who doesn’t tolerate people being mean just for the sake of being mean and “getting a reaction”. Also, “getting a reaction” has nothing to do with the disgusting things the poor excuses for humans on 4chan love spewing. They’re just BAD PEOPLE, so they can’t help but act like pieces of garbage, they don’t know any other way to live. Just stay away from 4chan and the filth masquerading as human beings that love it so much. And always remember that no matter what kind of nasty things they say or do or no matter how bad they want a reaction from you, don’t even pay attention to them. No matter what, the people on 4chan will always be nothing but the most PATHETIC, POINTLESS WASTES OF LIFE POSSIBLE AND NOTHING WILL EVER CHANGE THAT. They will always be trash and their lives will always be trash, because that’s what they deserve. They will never matter in the slightest. No one will ever care about them or remember them when they finally have the decency to die. They are less than even bacteria. Remember that your life is infinitely better than theirs could EVER be because you are actually a GOOD PERSON, and none of the 4chan trash could ever be anything close to that no matter how hard they tried.

Is the Alt-Right racist?

Yes. Any alt-right movement is by definition built on an ideology of White supremacy and fear-mongering toward people of color and other social minorities, its members always one Trump tweet away from happily renaming themselves the New Reich. We must stop asking questions as to whether those people are good or bad, and call them the Nazis that they are. Then we must reprimand them the same way we once reprimanded 20th century Nazis, and make sure that they are not given platforms to speak any longer.

Why is Pepe a meme for racism/white supremacy?

First, you're conflating conservatives with the Alt-Right. They're not the same. Some ideas overlap, but it's false to make blanket statements about conservatives being white nationalists or racists. The vast majority reject racism, just like most liberals do.Pepe the frog was transformed on 4chan, which many on the Alt-Right use. There's nothing inherently wrong with the meme in proper context, but it was co-opted by those who believe in white nationalism and supremacy. So those who want to use it just need to be aware of that connotation. The transformation of Pepe into an Alt-Right meme didn’t happen overnight. It was used to depict different emotions, then celebrities used it humorously. It was about during that same period that racists also used it, so you could say that the meme’s use went in two different directions.Pepe started out as character who didn’t care about what he did, like peeing out the open saying, “Feels good, man.” It doesn’t take much imagination for someone to repurpose a character like that to use as a joke, mock or insult. Especially with internet trolls who do things to get reactions from others for their own amusement. In October 2015, Donald Trump retweeted a Pepe meme made to look like him. For him there was no racist connotation. Then, after Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” statement, Roger Stone and Donald Trump Jr made a meme of Trump and his supporters with Pepe among them, with Trump hair. It was made humorously in response to Clinton. In May 2016, a writer for The Daily Beast wrote a piece that Pepe was now claimed by the Alt-Right, but it was later revealed that one of the sources for the article was playing a hoax on the writer to make it appear worse and more widespread than it really was, apparently hoping to create a moral panic. In September, Hillary Clinton’s website directly linked Pepe with white supremacy, and shortly after that the Anti-Defamation League included it in its hate symbol database, but with the qualification that it’s not always used that way. The reality is, it’s much ado about nothing, and the controversy over it just made it more popular, which is what the trolls wanted in the first place. How 'Pepe the Frog' went from harmless to hate symbolPepe the Frog - Wikipedia
