Why Are Singers Praised

How can I praise god through drawing?

Ok so I'm really good at drawing and have a strong faith in God. The problem is that I'm not the best singer in the world and when I'm at home and wanna praise god, i think of singing and I don't feel like doing it. But its the 21st century so I know we can praise god through other means like dance. So I want to praise god through drawing, a skill i excel at.
Ps. This doesnt mean I wont praise god through song, ill still sing to praise him at church and right before I pray.
Ty in advanced for your help.

Should Sluts be shamed or praised?

Why don't people just mind their OWN F-ing BUSINESS?

What a person does with their OWN body is not YOUR business. But it's insane when males shame all females who enjoy sex.

The washwoman's work is so___that is___praise even from singer's demanding mother.?

B) Laudable and Evokes

(why don't you just go to merriam-webster's online dictionary and check for the definitions of the words, then you can determine for yourself which words fit properly? You should be doing the work for your homeWORK) :-)

Why do celebrities get praised too highly?

Well you have to remember that although there may be women better looking that Beyonce, they aren't in the public eye.. Beyonce is a celebrity, and she is a celebrity because she is talented.. although to be honest I do think she's overrated (I always liked Kelly Rowland better than her). Anyway.. She is famous because she's a great singer, because of this she is a worldwide superstar, just like many other celebrities.. And when you're famous, people do over-exaggerate, and that's what they did when they said Beyonce was the most beautiful woman in the world. (Kelly's better looking in my opinion).

So to answer your question in short..yes.. Celebrity's are too highly praised.. But what can you expect when they're very famous, and very good at what they do.

Why is my singing so bad all of a sudden?

Im a 13 year and girl and I have been singing since I was able to talk.
I've had 2 singing teachers they weren't good
Anyway in March/April I entered 2 talent shows one was a school one and another was a county one.
The judges in the school one included my music teacher.
She has always praised my best friend for singing because well she sings also even though she knows how much it means to me. So anyway she ended up coming second and me not being placed at all.
This had a big toll on my confidence as you can imagine as she went around school the whole next day telling everyone while I practically came last. In music the next day my music teacher wouldn't shut up about how amazing she was and then when I asked her did she like my song she couldn't even remember it. And I have been in her class all year so I thought she would have you know?
Anyway the second one wasn't long afterwards and again I didn't get anywhere and I thought I did really really well with my performance. This made my confidence lower again and I have always had a lot of confidence when it came to singing.
So it's now June and I haven't practiced my singing since April so 2 months.
I decided today I was going to start up again so I took out my keyboard and started warming up my vocal chords as I used to do every single day.
When I was done that I felt depressed because I hated the sound of my voice.
I decided to start off with something somewhat easy and sung Don't want to miss a thing and cried half way through it because I sounded awful!
I have videos of myself singing from when I was 10 practicing for a talent show and I sounded somewhat decent but now I feel sick when I sing because I sound terrible!
All my life I've planned on getting out of school and studying music in college and becoming a singing teacher but now I don't think I'm a good singer so how could I teach others to sing if I can't do it myself.
Advice please? Thank you x

Why do singers touch their ears while singing or mentioning their mentor?

There are two reasons. Well, there could be more but I'll write about my own reasons.*While Singing. This is pretty close to blocking the surrounding noise. I push a part of the ear inwards or just block my ear simply by a finger. Doing this helps me to listen to my own voice inside my head. Feedback. You can try it as you read this answer out loud. This is usually done when we can't get it on the monitors and it is not practical to get the volume on the monitors boosted during the performance. This is why sound-checks are done. But things somehow go wrong. (Did you try it?)*Mentioning their MentorI would like to use the word 'Guru' in place of Mentor here. Indian Classical Music teaching still follows the ancient 'Guru-Shishya Parampara' (A tradition according to which the Guru is revered by the followers) and calling out or speaking the name of one's Guru is considered  inappropriate (Similar to an orthodox Hindu wife not mentioning the name of her husband) out of respect. Thus, when somebody is asked about his/her Guru, they hold/touch their ear to apologize for what they are doing, knowing that it is wrong and then mentioning their name. (Holding ears is a prevalent way of apologizing in India.)

Is praising and worshipping the Lord Jesus Christ a beautiful thing?

Is praising and worshipping the Lord Jesus Christ a beautiful thing? It would be much better if the question would instead read Is praising and worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ a PROPER thing? Beauty to one person is not the same for another. Man’s opinion on what is ‘beautiful’ or not means nothing. It is never an issue in the bible. The all important issue is what does God’s word say?To answer that question, we must consult the word of God (the Bible). Throughout the New Testament we see actual examples of Jesus being praised and worshiped by his own disciples and him receiving that praise and worship (Mark 11:9,10; Lk. 24:52; etc.). That is clear and proof that Christians should be praising and worshiping the Lord Jesus. It is even more compelling to ponder who is praised and worshiped in heaven. Note this passage with its setting in Paradise:In a loud voice they sang: "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!" Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped. (Rev 5:12-14)Jesus receives EQUAL praise and worship with the Father. That is the real true focus in heaven, which excludes Mary from any throne or being the recipient of praise and veneration too.The real heaven as shown in the bible is very enlightening and encouraging to study.
