What A Level do you regret doing?
BIOLOGY!! I HATE YOU!Okay, so at the end of my IGCSEs, I ended up getting the 48th percentile in Biology which is an E. That too, without serious studying. I had never liked Biology during my IGCSE course and had expected to fail so naturally, I found it surprising that I managed to pass. Although I wasn't very keen on taking Biology in my A Levels, I decided to take it nevertheless after being inspired by my IGCSE results and resolved to work harder.We had a different teacher for Biology in our A Levels and she was really a lazy git, chatting 70% of the classtime and teaching only 30%. I performed poorly in the class tests and my Dad decided to approach her for tuitions. As expected, she wasted our tuition time by just chatting with me. What's more is that she did the tuitions for just six weeks when my Dad had paid the money for eight weeks. After the sixth week, she stopped coming to my house and didn't even pickup my Dad's calls. Me and my Dad tried to approach her but she cleverly avoided us. Finally, my Dad decided to lodge a complaint against the school authorities and she was forced to pay the money back. And guess what, I ended up failing my AS Biology. That was the last straw! I finally dropped Biology.
Are there different levels of righteousness in heaven?Is it possible for the righteous to notice them,if any?
I know there will be different rewards in heaven based on our works here on earth. When the Bible discusses rewarding people, it is usually some type of leadership position. So, people will be ready for their reward because they have prepared themselves for it here on earth . Someone won't be thrown into a leadership position of a nation (for example) until they are ready for it. I think we will be students in heaven. What we didn't learn here, we will learn there. So, if we always wanted to learn to play the piano but never was able to find the time...we will have the time there. I do not believe that any reward in heaven will viewed as better or worse in heaven. We all will be satisfied with what we get. We also will not have sin so we won't think we are better than others. Those that did not get as large of a reward as others will not feel inferior. All these negative feelings you describe in your question will be gone because we will not have any sin with us. There will be different rewards in heaven and everyone will be happy, satisfied, and at peace with what Jesus gives us.
Is it good to have regrets in your life?
I would say Regrets maketh man.I believe that a life is perfect only when it has an equal blend of happiness and regrets. Imagine, you are having a re-union of your college batch and you are sipping beer with your best friends and sharing stories of everything that happened after college till now. Your friends are talking about their recent eurotrip, or a company acquisition, or a salary hike, or about how well their kids do in school, eventually you would feel exhausted.But you talk about a lost love, a broken relationship, a failure at the workplace, a misunderstanding, and the whole conversation goes into a different level. All the happiness around, after an extend, is exhausting, but not tears, sweat, heart breaks and failures.I believe that its the regrets that are going to drive our life further. Regrets are like grapes crushed in a jar. Now, you feel sad about it. But, after enough healing, after enough time, like the grapes transform into wine, your regrets will turn into memories that you will cherish in your life.
Why do people regret hooking up at parties?
So your at a party and your slightly drunk. You start to make out with the girl or guy you've been flirting with all night. You get into a bed room and have some fun. Not sex, only oral. Why would you regret it the next morning? Both of you know that its going nowhere. All it is is a little bit of fun. Two people living life in the moment. Do guys regret or feel bad after leading a girl on for sex ?
I was talking to this guy for at least 6 months and we always stayedd at the same level because all he wanted was sex and I didn't want to give it up right away,so about two months passes by and we stop talking and reconnect, he approaches me in a different way, asking me how am I feeling today like every time he gets a chance and trying to start a conversation. Is he just trying to play games again or does he feel kind of like regret and want to take it to another level?
Why did God regret making man in Genesis?
In Genesis 6:6, it claims God basically regretted making man and that it grieved his heart. How is this possible? He knew the future, therefore knew the outcome of "sin", and he is perfect, so assuming that he can be sad...why would he regret having make mankind in the first place? And who did he tell this story to? Ridiculous.
Feel a little regret from first time gay sex?
I'm a straight male that has had sex with three different girls. The first one was good friend and we mostly messed around and I got hard on but when we had sex I got soft idk why and I did love her and was into her.. The had sex with 2nd girl and never hard on. My third girl I had to take a Viagra just incase and did indeed have a hard on but i never cummed. Then I had sex with a man. I didn't even wanna touch him and i was uncomfortable. Doctor says I show high testosterone level and am capable to have lots of sex without Viagra. And I'm 29!
