Why Cant I Find My Photos On Flickr

How do I find the owner of a photo on Flickr?

I don't think you can, I just checked my own flickr photos and the paths do not have a distinct pattern and are likely created by a Hash function, meaning it is virtually impossible to figure out from that url what the original information was.

Why can't you favorite your own photos on Flickr?

You can absolutely mark you Flickr photos are favorites. You need to follow simple quick and easy steps. Here’s how,Mark or unmark a photo as a favorite in FlickrThe favorites feature lets you mark the photos you really like. The publisher gets a notification that the picture has been marked as a favorite, and the photo gets added to your Faves folder where you can view it any time.To mark a photo as a favorite, mouse over it and click the Fave icon. Click the icon again to deselect it, and it's removed as a favorite.

Why can't I find my photos on Flickr?

When I'm logged out of my Flickr account and I search for my own photos they don't appear. The same also happens when I search for my user name (under 'People'). I want people to see my photos and people aren't going to see them if they can't get what they searched for. Please help!

How do you print Flickr photos?

1.It's in five simple steps. First, look up / search the image you want. (if you have already done this, move on to next step) . I have used "Boy" as an example.------------------------------------2. Click on the image of your choice. I have chosen the boy in blue as an example. Then click the icon [with two opposite-arrows] as shown in the image below. By doing that, it will switch to maximized view of the photo.-----------------------------------3.  Once in maximized view, simply press [Ctrl] and [P] keys (if on Windows), OR [⌘] and P keys (if on Mac) , [Also, This will work on any browser. For this example, i am using Chrome. ] This will  open Print Setup window, (see image below).-----------------------------------4. Now, at this stage you have to specify some things--  Select Your Destination  (printer); the Layout of your printed image [Landscape or Portrait]; Color or Grayscale; Page Size; Margins; and Quality of your image. (if not all these settings appear, simply click 'More Settings' at the bottom).       **[For best results, set Layout: Landscape. Quality : 2400dpi. Margins: Mimimum. Color: depends on your preference. Page size also depends on your paper size. ]**-----------------------------------5. Great, now you are almost there, but before you click "PRINT', you have to do take this necessary step. Make sure the tiny  checkbox next "Headers and Footers" is UNCHECKED. It is usually checked by default. Simply click the box to remove the check sign. This avoids the appearance of TEXT on top and bottom of your printed image (like the text in red box in the image below; We don't want it.)  After that, you can now click Print.Image Source: Flickr: boy

Flickr: How can I backup my photos?

This seems to be the first instance of Flickr making this mistake since they began operation, so the risk seems low. But then, they never promised to be a backup service for you in the first place: Is Flickr a secure backup solution for my pictures? I fear two things; they may clumsily lose my pictures and they may get hacked easily. Does anyone have some insight into these issues and/or experiences either way?But to start, you should have planned from the start to back-up our images before you even sent them to Flickr. Since you did not, the first step is to pull all of the photos from your Flickr account. See: Is there some easy way to download all the photos in a Flickr set all at once? Then, considering using a photo management package that uploads to Flickr for you. These tend to also store other information about your photo, so it does not get lost. See: What photo management software do professionals use to manage large quantities of images? and What's the best way to organize a large set of photos on Windows?I find that Lightroom, which uploads to Flickr painlessly, can also store your original caption/description and photo title and even keeps a log of user comments for each photo! You would not be able to get the comments back up to Flickr if the photo was deleted from their servers, but at least you would have the original record stored somewhere.

When you view your own photos on Flickr, does that count as a view, or just others and not yourself?

When you view your own photos on Flickr, does that count as a view, or just others and not yourself? If I am logged in to my account (I usually am) my views of my own stuff are not counted. If I log out and come in as anyone else would, member or not, then yes, each picture or album I view is counted exactly as if I were not me.Logged in or not, everything else I view is counted, but if I am not logged in then I cannot favorite or comment on someone else's stuff. Logged in or not I cannot favorite or comment on my own stuff. That would be so that I can't artificially inflate my own statistics. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
