Why Cant People See That Political Correctness Is How Liberals Use Social Blackmail To Force People

Political correctness? Is this a good thing?

I found this statement under:

The Origins Of Political Correctness

A community declines when the majority of its citizens become selfish, and under this influence it slowly dismantles all the restraints upon self-indulgence established by manners, customs, tradition and law. As each subsequent generation of selfish citizens inherits control of the community, it takes its opportunity to abandon more of the irksome restraints that genius and wisdom had installed. The proponents of this social demolition achieve their irrational purpose by publicly embracing absurdity through slogans while vilifying any who do not support their stance. The purpose of the slogan is to enshrine irrational fears, or fancies, as truth through the use of presumptuous words, so public pronouncement:
Dissembles the real nature of the claim
Identifies any dissenters as enemies of the truth
Acts as an excuse for any crimes committed in its name

What a powerful statement! What do you think?

Why cant people see that political correctness is nothing but tyranny disguised as politeness and good manners?

Politeness and good manners existed before political correctness. Politeness and good manners will exist after this liberal tyrannical fad passes from the bowls of society like the rotten turd it is. Political correctness tries to usurp and replace politeness and good manners with thought control through social blackmail. No matter what kind of smooth talk and psycho babble the liberals use to excuse and justify this form of tyranny you MUST resist it. You MUST keep your mind free of it.

I hate being obliged to be politically correct, because the truth is bitter and harsh in general. Why can't most people stand hearing the truth? Why don't I have the freedom of being politically incorrect in today's society?

In reply to Billy Hughes.“Why can't most people stand hearing the truth?”It’s a good question but the inability to accept the truth manifests itself more in some countries than it does in other countries. This is my 37th year in Spain and I’ve yet to meet more than a dozen or so Spaniards willing to accept unpalatable facts about their country. The attitude is installed in them by the indoctrination system that exists here rather than an education system. Unpalatable facts are rejected outright because the people who point them out are liars!!Have you heard about the interview that was broadcast recently on the English Service of Deutsche Welle? Jose Borrell, Foreign Minister of Spain was interviewed live by Tim Sebastián an internationally renowned journalist who has been decorated for his work. His program is called ‘Conflict Zone’ and on the same day he targeted Netanyahu.Borrell said that Sebastián was too direct in his approach and that he, Borrell, should have been told what questions were going to be put to him as many of them would have been rejected. Borrell was shown up as a complete fool particularly over the Catalan issue. He also came over as being amazingly incompetent and with little knowledge of how the world outside of Spain functions. He was the President of the European Parliament from 20 July 2004 until 16 January 2007. Can you believe it?

What is your opinion on CNN using someone's personal information as a threat to enforce political correctness?

Both sides got their hands dirty. CNN had an opportunity to let itself shine as Trump reveals its contempt for any media that dares to disagree with him. Then it decided to dig a hole for itself by threatening to dox the Reddit user who created the original video.CNN did this because it knows such content would go viral, at least among its own Democrat-leaning audience. It does not care that much about the potential fallout among Trump supporters because these people would not read CNN anyway. The original video posted by HanAssholeSolo, the Reddit user, is not out-of-line compared to the usual content on communities like /r/The_Donald. That's a very low bar, admittedly, but the only reason why this particular video was singled-out, and the situation escalated, was because Trump decided to repost this video on Twitter. There is a difference between a Reddit user posting a video of Trump beating CNN, and Trump himself endorsing the video. The Reddit user made the video for the /r/The_Donald community and likely did not intend that video to go mainstream. Is it appropriate for CNN to reveal the identity of this user? Is it OK to invade the privacy of everyone who has expressed support for Trump at some point in time? Absolutely not. I am no Trump supporter but it's not as if this person has intended to cause any reputational damage of this level. We need to draw a line somewhere. Revealing the identity of a non-public figure is never OK. It's not as if this user is a criminal. On a broader context, this incident only serves to perpetuate the partisan divide over the trust of CNN versus Trump, which made headlines recently. Neither side is innocent. A common ground should be reached in some way or another.

What gets you worried about UK politics?

The increasing abandonment, by all major parties, of the centre ground, as strident ideologues shout down the moderates.OK, yes, I’m a ‘centrist dad’ - but what does that mean, when you unpack it? It means I have a son whose future I do not wish to be entrusted to fanatics of any stripe, and that my politics are a pretty average compromise, in line with the attitudes of a substantial chunk of the population. But who the hell am I meant to want in power, steering the ship of state? Painfully overextended metaphor ahoy…A Conservative party with Jacob Rees-Mogg and the DUP blackmailing its captain into steering towards Scylla, or a Labour Party whose moderate elements have been tied up in steerage while the bridge crew deliberately plot a course for Charybdis? Or the Lib Dems with their laser-like focus on… errrr… I’ll get back to you on that…? Or the Greens, who feel that ships are a bad idea and we should probably just scuttle ours here and now to provide a deep-water habitat?I wish to God we had a Conservative Party that wanted to conserve things, or a Labour Party that listened to labourers, or a Liberal Democratic Party that cared more about old-fashioned liberalism and less about the mechanisms of democracy.Damn the pack of ‘em. I think I’m about to become a fanatical moderate.Whadda we want? A bit of civilised give and take! When do we want it? As soon as is reasonably convenient for all concerned!
