I hope to God that Ab Babon's answer is a parody/joke. As to the original question; political expediency and convenience. The Japanese were at the total opposite end of Eurasia, meaning a lot would have to happen before the two nation's spheres of influence ever met. The two also had a mutual interest in seeing the Soviet Union disappear, and Hitler saw Japan as a valuable counterweight against the United States. Hitler himself had a vague respect for East Asian cultures, although this again probably had more to do with the immense distance and lack of contact. In short, politically and strategically the benefits outweighed the costs in making Japan an honorary member of the "Aryan" club.

Anyone who didn't have these features (like the Jewish and Blacks) were considered an impure race. The hypocrisy of it all was that Hitler himself was part Jewish and possessed brown hair, brown eyes, and tan skin. He basically hated his own race.
