Why Did I Get Sick All Of A Sudden

Just got really sick all of a sudden?

I need to be okay for tomorrow, I have work 4-10, and I need the money, so I can't miss work. I already missed the last day I was supposed to work.
I was about to lay down to go to sleep, but I had a headache, so I went downstairs to get water and some ibuprofen, but on the way upstairs, I started shaking and just a huge wave of nausea hit me. I'm still shaking, I keep making typos because of it. I don't feel as nauseous because I'm laying down, but it's still there.
Any tips on how I can get this away, or at least ignorable for tomorrow? I've eaten fine today, and I've been drinking water, so I don't know what this is, it was really, really sudden.

Why are soda's all of a sudden making me sick?

you could have acid reflux or an ulcer you should get it checked out you are getting to that age where things you normally did are going to affect you different...i am 34 so believe me things are different now...

Why did I suddenly get sick?

Here's what comes to mind: the multi-vitamin was too potent for what little you ate. Next time take it after a larger meal.Or you have been exposed (by a person in the grocery store, at work etc. or even a doorknob) to a viral or bacterial gastritis that probably will last 24-48 hours.

Why do I all of a sudden feel sick while I browse my phone?

Using a mobile gadget for a long time results in this because of the radiations out from it.

Why am I suddenly getting motion sickness?

Your inner ear has a bony, snail shaped structure called cochlea, three canals and two chambers, all connected to each other. These are all filled with a fluid and any movement in the head sets the fluid in these passageways in motion. The result is complex nerve signals emanating out and being sent to the brain. Your brain then combines these signals along with others it receives from different muscles and eyes to decide what our body has to do to keep itself balanced.

When you sit in a moving car, ship, an airplane, or for that matter an amusement park ride, the fluid in the inner ear shifts sending confusing signals to the brain. The eyes too contribute to your suffering by sending upsetting signals as they are unable to focus on a fixed horizon. Some of these impulses may eventually succeed in reaching those areas of the brain that control nausea and vomiting.

Some other unrelated conditions that can aggravate the problem (pertaining to your case) are:

·
Unpleasant fumes - e.g. gasoline smell, exhaust fumes, body odor, perfumes, dead fish, some body else’s fart!!
·
Full stomach – Bumps and lateral movements during road and rail travel, slight or vigorous lopsided ride of the boat, ship and particularly your amusement park ride and sudden pressure changes as the airplane ascends or descends
·
Alcohol – Too much alcohol may enter your ear’s fluid and send your head spinning by interfering with the signals being sent

There are certain antihistamine medications that can be effective in reducing and preventing motion sickness. Antihistamine medications such as Bonine, Antivert, or Dramamine are available over the counter and may be used for mild symptoms.

Herbal and homeopathic remedies are an excellent natural alternative to help relieve all forms of motion sickness. Use herbs such as Zingiber officinalis (Ginger) and Mentha piperita (Mint) to provide digestive comfort. Homeopathic ingredients such as Kalium phosphate, Cocculus and Pulsatilla vulgaris act as a restorative and nerve tonic and helps to promote comfort while traveling.

No need to say that if its becoming chronic, dump those anti-histamines else they will create some side effects in the long run.

Why do sudden temperature changes make you sick?

THIS IS NOT CORRECT, cooling or temperature change make NOT sick… in healthy peopleWorldwide this belief exists : "by cooling you get a cold" and told by parents and all the previous generations. The reason is that before getting cold you have chills, but those chills are frequently already a sign of disease ! If you measure your t° sublingual you frequent measure a fever the following 1/2 hour or hours in case of a viral infection. The chronology chills→disease let us believe that the chill is the cause. In fact your disease already existed and the correct sequence is disease →chills.Of course healthy people can get all kinds of complications from (severe) undercooling !!see…. http://www.rhinologyjournal.com/...There is a widely held belief that acute viral respiratory infections are the result of a “chill” and that the onset of a respiratory infection such as the common cold is often associated with acute cooling of the body surface, especially as the result of wet clothes and hair. However, experiments involving inoculation of common cold viruses into the nose, and peri- ods of cold exposure, have failed to demonstrate any effect of cold exposure on susceptibility to infection with common cold viruses. Present scientific opinion dismisses any cause-and- effect relationship between acute cooling of the body surface and common cold. This review proposes a hypothesis; that acute cooling of the body surface causes reflex vasoconstriction in the nose and upper airways, and that this vasoconstrictor response may inhibit respiratory defence and cause the onset of common cold symptoms by converting an asymptomatic sub- clinical viral infection into a symptomatic clinical infection.

Why have I suddenly been getting very sick with stomach viruses? My family doesn’t usually get sick. Could this be a more serious issue?

Are you diagnosing yourself or has your physician diagnosed you with “stomach viruses?” If this is a self-diagnosis then I suggest that you consult a physician and let HER/HIM make the diagnosis and treatment for you. If you have been diagnosed by a physician as having “stomach viruses” and the treatment that this physician has rendered to you is not helping you then I would suggest that you get a second opinion. And most important of all, be sure to follow the recommendations of your physician.

Why did my kitten suddenly die?

First thing that comes to mind is fading kitten syndrome. or to put it bluntly - i have no idea, but something went wrong and kitten suddenly got sick and died for no apparent reason.Ok, there are some things we do know that are going on, namely, low blood sugar, dehydration nad hypothermia, and if caught at the right time, the symptomas may be succesfully treated, but we're not sure yet, why does it happen. Of course, any of those three symptoms may cause death by itself, If the queen is very active in cleaning the young ones, you might not even notice if a kitten has diarrhea - this is the ain reason for dehydration and far more common than a colic, or any bowel obstruction, like hernia. You also can't be sure, huw much milk one of them really got. i might suck an empty teat. That would be reason for low blood sugar, lethargy and shaking.  The last reason might be sudden organ failure. The kitten might be born with some defect, that will be unnoticed until sudden death - heart failure is a prime example.I might rule out infectious diseases or parasitic invasions, especially, if the litter and the mother do not have contact with other cats. My bet is on dehydration, but if you want to be sure, you need a vet to perform an autopsy.
