Why Did Jezebel Like Baal So Much.

Who is the "Jezebel" of the bible that God hates so much?

1Ki 16:31 And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.

Jezebal was a wicked woman who caused Israel to go into Baal worship (basically satan worship).

1Ki 18:4 For it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the LORD, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)

She also set about to kill all the prophets of God

She was so wicked that God decreed a special death for her. She ended up falling out of a high window, and before anyone could get down to her, the dogs came upon her and eat her.

1Ki 21:23 And of Jezebel also spake the LORD, saying, The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.

I doubt that you are as wicked as Jezebel...or even close at all. But there may be some things in your heart or life that is going the wrong way in regards to godly things, or lifestyle or maybe even in advising others that resemble Jezebel. God may be trying to get you to look at her life, and examine yours.

If you see anything at all in your life that she was known for, repent, as forgiveness and move on.

Sexual immorality is any sexual relations outside the bounds of a God established Marriage. The Bible says that even looking upon someone in lust is Adultry. However, remember, it is a sin just like lying or stealing or anything else...except that it is a sin that is done unto the body.

Jesus died and paid the price for all our sins. They are already paid for. Once you realize that you are a sinner, and that Jesus (God Himself) died and paid the price, and from your heart, you turn from your sins and accept God's Salvation through Jesus Christ, you are saved.

If you die first, it is to late. This is a decision you must make while you are alive here on earth. Once you die, you have already made your decision.

Now remember, being a child of God does not mean your perfect. You still sin, however, as a child of God, you done want to, and you try to stay away from sin, and you strive to live for God.

Don't wait. Trust Christ now in your heart, and turn from known sin in your life. God will take you from there.

God bless.

Why was queen jezebel killed?

She was an extremely wicked woman.

Who was Jezebel of the Bible?

Queen Jezebel of Israel, was the wife of King Ahab of Israel. She was Phoenician princess, daughter of King Ethbaal of Tyre.

Jezebel went to Israel to marry King Ahab and was a worshiper of Baal and Ashe-rah.
Israel had many difficulties because of her bringing in false gods and setting up temples of sexual perversion of both female and male prostitution. Male prostitutes were called dogs because of the manner of sexual union.

The people tired of her forcing their children into despicable acts and her effect on Ahab who became heavy handed in his governing.

She was tossed out a window by her own abused eunuchs. The dogs (male prostitutes)bathed in her blood.

I have no idea why a woman would want to call herself Jezebel unless she aspired to be evil.
_______

Jezebel is later used in Revelation as a woman that is in a church that comes in to pollute and divide. This is not to be tolerated.

Who is Jezebelle from the bible?

She's quite the character. She was the pagan wife of Ahab, the king of Israel. Ahab was a bad king, but not as bad as Jezebel. When she found out he wanted a piece of land that the owner wouldn't sell, she had the guy framed and executed, just to make her husband happy; or, more likely, to prove he had absolute power, even though the kings of Israel were supposed to obey the law.
She had the prophets of God slaughtered, and then the prophet Elija had her prophets slaughtered, after proving that God could set fire to wet meat, while their Baal couldn't do a thing. This made Jezebel and Ahab angry of course.
Ahab died in a battle that God's prophet told him not to get into. And shortly after that, her enemies persuaded her eunuchs to throw her out the window so she fell to her death; and her body was eaten by dogs before it could be buried.

Why was Jezebel the most hated Queen of Israel ? Did she originally come from an Evil Land?

WHEN KING AHAB, DIED< and the Eldest son of Jezebel died Jezebel son Called Joru came to the throne, However Elisha the prophet crowned Jehru to be King

Even a Prophet Hated Jezebel with such vengence that only the God could repay..( Vengence is mine, I will repay) This Hate of Jezebel is one of the deepest Hate in the Bible I ever read .

House of Ahab: 'I anoint you king over the people of the Lord, over Israel. You shall strike down the House of Ahab your master; thus will I avenge on Jezebel the blood of My servants the prophets, and the blood of the other servants of the Lord' (2 Kings 9:6-7).

Why did Elijah flee from Jezebel? (1 Kings 19:1-3)

According to 1 Kings chapter 8, the prophets of Baal had foolishly allowed Elijah to set the agenda for a contest to see whose god was real. Elijah won and then personally killed all four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal. When Queen Jezebel learnt of this atrocity, she sent a message to Elijah that the gods had better kill her first, because she would have him killed on the very next day. Elijah, in spite of being portrayed as able to perform miracles with the aid of God, suddenly feared for his life and fled south to Judah.

Who was jezebel and how was she described in the bible?

Originally the name of a Queen over Israel! (Kings) She was married to Ahab(his father disobeyed God and married his son in a political marriage to a foreign wife who worsiped Baal-a demonic entity)
She used manipulation and control to lead almost the entire Nation into lawlessness! There is a deep sexual side as well. She also worshipped Ashta a goddess!
She hated the annointing and God's prophets and kings(modern day pastors)

Jezebel(the woman was actually under control of a spirit) which we now call Jezebel. I believe it was referred to as Ashta(think I'm spelling that right). There is reference in Rev. about the "woman Jezebel" meaning a woman in the church under heavy influence of this spirit was teaching and the church new about it and done nothing!
Many pastors can fall under an Ahab(Baal) influence and feel powerless at stopping someone under a FULLY matured influence. To some extent ALL christains are subtily affected. It is behind rebelion of any kind of authority!
Please understand this is not a bunch of mumbo Jumbo!
It is Truth.
I have myself been under heavy attack by these evil spirit.
They masculate women and emasculate men!
Don't get me wrong there is no male or female in the spirit but in the natural there is and we are destenctly different!

Unfortuanately this spirit is alive and well in the church today! It must be exposed and dealt with. It is behind the sexual fall of many ministries. and most times they are unaware until they are destroyed!!!!!

If you believe only a small part of what I say and are interested in more. John Paul Jackson has a book called Unmasking the Jezebel Spirit! It can be purchased at streamsministries.org or com

I don't know a marriage or church not affected by these intities. Jez and Ah are actually High ranking demons. They rule over entire regions ans sometimes countries. They don't directly affect the Christian but use lower ranking demons but are in charge of full scale attacks. There main target is still the annointing and propets and pastors! Why did Elijah kill the prophets of Baal?

The story of Elijah is an ancient legend added to the Book of Kings, written centuries after the time attributed to Elijah. He had apparently divine powers, including the ability to make a cake feed a poor woman and her son for a very long time (1 Kings 17:15) and even to resurrect a dead child (1 Kings 15:22), at least through the power of the Lord.In chapter 18, the prophets of Baal are portrayed with some derision as laughably stupid. They agree to Elijah’s challenge to see which god — Elijah’s Yahweh or Baal — could cook a bullock without a fire being lit. When he called on them to shout and wake up their god, the prophets did just as Elijah instructed, and they cut themselves with knives. After they had failed, Elijah ostentatiously used water to prove that he was not using a trick, then called down a lightning bolt from the Lord, to cook his bullock. Unwilling to allow any religious freedom in Israel, Elijah killed all 450 prophets of Baal, a great feat of stamina in itself. The story of Elijah parallels ancient Near Eastern stories of sky gods to such an extent that is is very likely that in a pre-biblical version of this story, Elijah actually was the sky god. As a sky god, he knew absolutely that he was able to call down lightning at will, and did so at the appropriate time. Tension between Elijah and Baal is also seen in 2 Kings chapter 1, with lightning again coming down to strike the captains. In ancient Near Eastern mythology, the sun god rode in a fiery chariot, and we now find in 2 Kings 2:11 that when it was time for him to leave the earth, he departed in a fiery chariot. The story of Elijah as we now have it is a polemic against the worship of Baal. Elijah has become the prophet of Yahweh and the story tells how much more powerful Yahweh is. Elijah provided the audience of the Book of Kings with a satisfyingly violent end to the 450 prophets.
