Why Did My Order Get Canceled On Amazon

Why are my Amazon orders getting cancelled?

Hi,Your order is getting cancelled due to the following reasons-Seller cancelling the order due to stock/ availability issues/pricing issues/error.Payment decline ( mostly due to insufficient funds, incorrect details like card number expiration date ,amount limit )Issues with the credit card/debit card used.Unauthorised activity on the account. These are the common reasons why the order is getting cancelled. You should always check your emails as automated emails are sent if there are any issues with the orders.Hope this helps!

Why won't they let me cancel my order from amazon.com??

What you can do once it arrives to your address is to "refuse delivery" and have them send it back.

This happens a lot. Amazon doesn't want you to know that they lose a lot of their stock at their warehouses and vendors get screwed. It's so unorganized it's amazing that they are making any money.

So what the "vendors" are doing now is that they list their product on amazon.com and ship direct from their location. SO, even if you order a bunch of stuff at once, you can get two, three different packages from different locations and each charge a shipping charge!

It's a huge rip off but that's what a lot of vendors are doing. The other thing that happens is that amazon marks these (other vendor items) shipments as "ordered" the instant you click on 'order'. If it was a stocked item in amazon, this won't happen. In either case, all of this happened because amazon's warehouses are a big sinkhole of 'lost' goods.

Amazon is claiming that they are going to improve their stock traceability but that will take years to accomplish.

So, it the meantime, vendors get screwed out of their 'lost' items and customers get screwed because of their 'instant shipped' status.

Again, you just need to refuse the shipment when it comes.

If you are not there when it's dropped off, take it back to the shipper and say it is refused.

If amazon does not credit you credit card, call the credit card company and "reverse the charges". Before you do this though, you need to wait at least one billing cycle so amazon has the time to re-credit your credit card.

How long until amazon refunds a canceled order?

I bought a pretty nice gaming pc on amazon, but I found a better one of the same brand on another website for a lower cost. So I canceled my order with amazon, it had not shipped yet but my visa was already charged and the funds taken out. So, I am just a bit nervous as it was a large purchase, I dont want my money floating around in -who knows where- for too long, when will they refund me?? Thanks!
