What would it have been like if only the South Tower had collapsed, but the North Tower had survived and still stood?
What would it have been like? The precipitating understanding would have been that it was an honest to God random act of terrorism. Whether they would have rebuilt, restructured and restored the remaining tower is not for me to speculate. Maybe they would have done a controlled demo, after removal of the salvageable contents, and started with a clean slate.But all indicators leave not only demolition experts, architects, and engineers, but pretty much anyone with an open mind and a modicum of intelligence, to conclude that it was a fully rigged and anticipated, planned demolition from the start.The interested parties just threw some planes into the buildings (or allowed planes to fly into them, unimpeded, capitalizing on the attack to achieve diverse objectives with the congruent act), to hide the fact that it was a pre-planned demolition, to create an illusion of catalyst, and as a great motivating factor to heavily sway public favor to support the subsequent invasion, wars, regime change, and essential commandeering of places of American interest.A lot of gullible people bought it, too, and summarily opted to go back to sleep. The irony is anybody who questions the obvious lies and deception, anybody who wants the truth, independent investigations, and the real story unearthed, is considered unpatriotic. The citizens that want to live in an actual home of the brave and land of the free, are marginalized and ridiculed.If the north tower had collapsed in a fashion that did not defy numerous Newtonian laws, and the south tower had either not collapsed, or partially collapsed, I think you'd have a hell of a lot less intelligent and informed people questioning the diminutive, cocaine sniffing, boxcutter boys hijacking theory. You might not have any alternate theories at all.The only thing that has truly been hijacked is the collective American imagination.
Why did nobody above the impact zone in the north tower survive (9/11)?
In Tower Two, 4 people were able to get down from above the impact zone to get down the stairs to the street. In Tower One, nobody got down, presumably because the stairways were blocked. I’ve always wondered why people didn’t break through the concrete floors or use utility raceways or elevator shafts to transit between floors. Probably the notion that the buildings were going to collapse was so unthinkable that it never occurred to people to take dramatic steps such as breaking walls or floorsOn 9/11 several people survived the building collapses. A group of 12 firemen with Port Authority Police Officer David Lim and civilian Josephine Harris were on the stairs coming down when the building fell down around them. It was several hours before they were able to climb up the stairs to the top of the debris pile and evacuate.
