Why Did Yahoo Answer Chage I Miss The Old Yahoo Answer

Poll: Do you not miss the old green yahoo answers layout?

I miss the people and times more than the layout... I can still enjoy myself on here when the right people are here. I've been used to the purple format for a long time now. It just took a lot of good people with it... *tears up*

Do you miss Yahoo Answers! back when?

I have been here for so long. I found this place when I first dared to get on the computer. God knows how many years I dusted it before that!
I was literally led to Yahoo! These are my 'roots'!
Bonus Question: How many here can say this anymnore?

Why am I unable to post or answer any questions on Yahoo Answers?

Clearly, you have upset a Yahoo! god and they are firing you from Yahoo! Answers.I used to work for Yahoo! Answers a decade ago and I used to spend a lot of time asnwering a lot of questions and the company was extremely happy with my work.In fact, they send me a Yahoo! Answers jacket to my home.I still have it.A few years later I was one of the most popular writers on Yahoo! Answers and the founder and CEO of Yahoo! at the time David Filo himself send me a letter with his signature and everything congratulating me for my hard work.I still have this letter.A decade ago, a letter signed by a billionaire was a huge deal for me.Now, I get job offers from billionaires, almost each month and I almost always decline them.I still want to work for Elon Musk, Adam D’Angelo, Max Levchin, Peter Thiel, Luke Nosek and Ken Howery, thought. One day, all of a sudden my Yahoo! Answers account was blocked for unknown reasons.I tried to open a new account and this worked for a little while but eventually my account was blocked again.I tried to open a new account and this worked again for a little while but eventually my account was blocked again. After that, I simply stopped trying and evolved into something else.I was extremely dissapointed by all this and I could not fully understand why they were blocking my accounts.Obviously I was younger and dumber a decade ago.It turns out a billionaire got upset about some of my answers and he simply bribed Yahoo! and they fired me.I was bringing a lot of eyesballs to Yahoo! Answers a decade ago.I was answering questions for them for free, you know.Maybe Yahoo! would still be profitable today if they hired me as a regular employee back then.We will never know.It appears that you are in exactly the same situation I was a decade ago.Just forget about Yahoo! Answers and focus exclusively on Quora. They are losing money for a reason, you know.I suspect they regret firing me from Yahoo! Answers a decade ago.Ironically, I am currently one of the MOST VIEWED WRITERS on the Yahoo! (Company) category right now here on Quora.Welcome to Quora.I think you will enjoy this chapter in your life.

I miss the old days, i miss my childhood?

Whenever I listen to an old song, I always think of the old days when me & my little cousins would play house in my backyard, and wed bring out all the kitchen supplies and pretend we were cooking, or put on heels and imitate our moms. I miss being little and going to the beach shirtless, and playing in the sand and making sand castles with my cousins, or run around town in the mornings and buy ice cream all together. Now 10 years later, were thousands of miles away from each other, we've grown up and it makes me sad, to see some of them smoking ciggarets or doing any of that stuff, because I remember them so tiny and innocent, i just cant stand being so far away from them:'( .Also, I miss hugging my daddy and not feeling awkward if my dad accidently touches my chest or something. The other day this 2 year old baby girl came to my house, and my dad was like she reminds me of you when you were a little girl, made me emotional. I miss the old days so much.

Does anyone else want the Old Yahoo Answers layout back?

Yahoo Answers has a new format now. I don't really like it. Sure it may be newer and easier to ask questions but why fix something that isn't broken? I see this being real similar to Triple H by changing how WWE is run and changing the mood of the WWE locker room. Yahoo Answers changed the way it looks and the users aren't really happy with it.

Yahoo Answers, if you're reading this, please put the old Yahoo Answers back. If not, at least have an option to use the old format. I've been here for a while and I really like the old format. It felt more alive with a green color. Now, the whole screen is white with very few colors.

Will Quora die someday like Yahoo Answers?

Pretty much the way other things die, they will fall out of use. Is anyone still using My Space? I knew they made a comeback but can't imagine who is there. Google has their own graveyard, igoogle, picnik photo editing, Google reader, Google answers. Facebook was going to launch a Q&A forum, I submitted some things for them, but never manifest (but I suspect it might be Quora that came out of that). Yahoo has a lot of dead services, Geocities, 360, Mash, Buzz, Photos, Yahoo HotJobs. Technology has a way of growing fast and having a shorter lifespan, but you never know, it could evolve into something else.
