Why doesn't Gmail pre-populate my contacts email address when I start typing it in?

The contacts that you see prepopulate are most likely stored in Google Contacts. You can click the Contacts link in Gmail to check. By default, Gmail adds anyone you email to your Contacts, but you can turn off this preference. As Itai Satati suggested, syncing your Mac Address Book with Google Contacts should ensure that the email addresses are there for Gmail to pre-populate.

Why won't my email addresses automatically fill in when I compose an email?

My email addresses always used to automatically fill in after hitting the first letter when composing an email. With the new format, I have to manually type in the whole address myself. Not liking the new format.

How do you restore a contact to autocomplete in Yahoo Mail after you accidentally hide?

With Yahoo Mail's new interface, when writing an email, rather than just offering you autocomplete options for recipients from your contacts, Yahoo now offers you a lot of useless "contacts," like anyone you have ever received or sent an email to (many of these are either dead emails or people you don't correspond with). No idea why they made this change.

Anyway, you can tell Yahoo not to offer you a "contact" by hitting the x to the right of the box. But what if you hit the x but didn't mean it? I did that for the person I email most, and now the person is not an autocomplete option. How do I get the person back as an option (the person is still a contact)?

How do you send an email to all your contacts in Gmail?

As gmail is most common email network used by customers but sometimes uncertainities happens with users like , a user might face issue in sending a mail to all his contacts in one click etc.for such kind of issues you might get third party party  independent Gmail Customer Service at any time .You can easily send a message to multiple people at once, from a few friends to a large group of people. Here are a few options.Choose a few recipientsClick Compose to start writing your message. In the "To" text field, write each person's email address, separated by commas. As you type each address, you may see an auto-complete suggestion that you can click to add that address.     Tip: Everyone in the "To" or "CC" fields will be able to see who else you send this message to. If you'd rather be more discreet, add people to the "Bcc" field so that they can't see who else received this message.  Write your message and click Send. That message will be sent to everyone you added. If you need to edit or select multiple contacts, hold down the Ctrl key or the Cmd key on your keyboard and select multiple contacts. When you’re composing or replying to a message, hover over a  contact’s name to see the email address associated with it, and  double-click a contact’s name to edit it. If you have multiple email  addresses linked to a contact, you’ll see your contact’s email address  as well as name (e.g. John Smith (johnsmith@gmail.com).You can also select people from your Contacts page by checking the box next to each person then clicking Email in the group details pane. Create a group of recipientsIf you often send messages to the same set of people, consider  creating a contact group to make it easier to email that entire set of  people. For example, when you're writing an email, you can choose your  contact group "Soccer club" as your recipient rather than entering in  each person's email address separately.

Why doesn't yahoo recognize my contact nicknames and autofill in the email address?

Ages ago (more than a year), yahoo stopped recognizing my "nicknames", so for instance I'd start having to write in my mother's name, rather than "mom". I checked her contact info in my contacts, and it still lists her nickname as "Mom", but if I put that in the "to" line, waiting for it to autofill, it does nothing.

Even better, if I can get the nicknames to start working again, is there a way to have yahoo create an autofill hierarchy so that it _starts_ with the nicknames, and then goes to other email addresses? For instance, I email myself reminders all the time, and my nickname is "me". But I have other folks in my address book where the first name starts with "Me", or the email address does. In autofill, I'd like it to rank the possible options by relevance, putting nicknames at the top.

Anyone have any ideas?

Why aren't the email contacts showing up when start typing in address?

normally in my TO i can start typing a persons name and it would automatically pull up their email just beneath the bar.. well its stopped doing that and very annoying please help! ps i send out lots of emails for work!

Why can't I auto-complete recipient email addresses any more?

Forever, I used to be able to start typing the addressee's name, and their address would auto-populate. What happened to this? Is it coming back? I can't stand having to go into my address book to select the recipients every time.

My Yahoo Mail page does not have the Contact icon. How do I access my contacts?

Have searched the Yahoo help sections which all refer to a Contact icon in upper left of page. This icon and others are not visible. I want to add/change/delete contacts but can not find a way to access them.
