“…your life is a lie…”Would you pick a million dollars in cash or a cent that doubles every day?I like how everyone just goes to that one fact that they heard a while back somewhere that a penny double will be over a million dollars in 30 day, I personally heard it from a how to get rich scheme that say ask obama for a penny that doubles everyday. (It was a jokey scheme)Thats beside the point though. Im here saying that “your life is a lie.”The question asks, “or a cent that doubles every day?” You see where Im going with this??Well the question states “a cent that doubles everyday.” So by the way it is stated you will only be getting 30 cents on the 30th day.You see yall been mislead, by people who just want to show you this cool fast fact, and it is cool. Why does everyone talk down to me?
i cant stand it. my parents do it. i literally never get in trouble. even when im the person getting hurt, my dad finds a way to blame me or tells me to do something stupid like drinking or smoking (im in college and never drank in my life or smoked anything), yet somehow, its as if he expects me to do something stupid. and if i try to defend myself about something i did wrong, he ignores it and makes me repeat what he said and end of story. whenever i have to talk about something with my mom, she just acts like its not a serious problem and its not important. and she always waits until something bad happens to me to help me. my relatives do it too. they dont take me seriously like my parents. i feel like they are constantly picking on me. thats partially why i hate being around them. even though im 18, i dont really stand up for myself because all my cousins and everyone else are older than me. my friends talk down to me too and i hate it. we all pick on each other, but still. i have moderate to severe ocd, depression and social anxiety so im shy and kind of awkward, i admit, but no one actually takes me seriously. and for some reason, within the 1st 30 minutes (thats being a little generous), theyll already pick up that im a little shy and make me feel kind of bad. i dont really stand up for myself then because either i dont take them seriously enough or im just too much of a b*tch to say anything. by the end of high school, i really started to hate all of my friends to the point i couldve punched the majority of them in the face and not care. and i dont talk to my friends in college now about my problems really because i just dont want to. and some of them act like im retarded and i do feel kind of hurt and sometimes that i dont have feelings. my social anxiety makes it hard for me to word what i want to say. and my ocd makes it harder because i have to say the right things so i might seem a little slow, off the ball and indecisive. and i may have short term memory loss (which can be a symptom of depression) and i cant remember things clearly. it hurts me even more because im decently smart (have a 130 iq which is considered intelligent/gifted). all i want to know is why does everyone talk down to me to the point i feel like no one actually respects anything i say?
Everybody Picks On Me? [NEED LOTS OF HELP] ?
Okay, so basically, since six grade my classes' boys always picked on me. The girls were starting to have their periods that year, but only on me they picked. They used to open my backpack and take off my tampons and stick them to the walls, with my name written on them. It was so embarrassing :S Last year, I dated one of the boys, and ever since we broke up, he keeps hatin' on me and making others do the same. After we broke up I was still in love with him, but he always made fun of me, I never knew why, but in almost every class I went out crying, because he always hurt me so bad. This year, that boy broke my deodorant on purpose and he only bought me a new one because my teacher made him to. Now, he's been influencing the other guys to pick on me as well. Whenever a teacher asks me a question, he keeps talking bad things about me the whole time I'm talking. Whenever I'm called to write on the board, he does the same. I don't even have interest in school and I'm often tired. I once told that I hated my class, only because of the boys, today, one of them told the entire class I had been talking bad things on their backs and they picked up on me the whole chemistry class. They made a list with offensive nicknames for me and my best guy friend (the only boy I trust) and I mean really offensive nicknames, they even wrote there that my dad was gay :'( he isn't! (though I have nothing with gay people, but that comment really hurt my feelings) I cried the last 30 minutes of the class and they kept on talking. Then, the next classes of the day they kept making fun of me for crying. I'm so tired of this, how can I fix this? I can't ignore them anymore, because they sure know how to hurt me. No matter how many times I tell teachers that I don't feel good, they can never stop this behaviour, I so sick of this, please help me :( Thanks in advance. ♥

Why blame life for our shortcomings? All of us have innate abilities to change the way we live. Let me narrate with a chess analogy.Let us imagine a chessboard with pieces on it. The King was ‘born great’ and The Queen has greatness thrust upon her by virtue of being the king’s wife. The Queen is the most powerful piece on the board and let us say it represents those that has greatness thrust upon them. All of these pieces have one thing in common – They are born to a nature, live within their nature and die to their nature.Second row is lined with pawns, they are not born powers, not king or queen. Every pawn is just six moves away from becoming the most powerful piece on the board – The Queen. They represent common people like you and me. Though we are born to a nature, we are bestowed with the ability to transcend our nature to achieve greatness. We may be born to a poor social background, but we possess the ability to become a business icon or a scholar or a great national leader.The life of a pawn is boring, monotonous, sometime dangerous, it sucks, but only until six moves. Life is stuck to those who have stopped making their moves, may be out of fear or boredom or plain laziness. So they feel life sucks because they haven't made a move. Yes, it is a fight to survival, it is a battle you can’t avoid, yet you can decide whether to fight as a pawn or transcend your abilities and become a powerful queen. Why does god hate me?
Matthew, God doesn't hate you at all. If He hated you and the rest of us, you would have never been born and you'll be sent automatically to hell. I know that you feel this way because of your current situation, but I was also like that too during the period that I call the "2 Months of Hell". First, my favorite wrestler (Rey Mysterio) lost a lot on "Friday Night Smackdown!"(I get really emotional about that). Second, my mother had no child to babysit at all (at least you have two working parents, I'm glad you're thankful for that), and she only went to college for two years before I was born. Third, I seem to get injured a lot (minor injuries thank God). I am also overweight and smart like you, with controlled asthma. Okay, now that I told you my experience, the healing shall begin. First, you may have a small penis, but be grateful because having a bigger penis is not necessarily a great thing (it takes much longer to get it up), and plus you might hurt your future wife, and not being able to cuddle. Second, those jerks at school may be picking on you now, but eventually, you will overcome them and they'll get their comeuppance. Your allergies can be taken care of,I'm also allergic to my favorite things, chocolate and spicy foods, but they're not as bad anymore, eventually you'll grow out of them. The hearts showing faces is just a gimmick to keep you on the app. Tinder’s little happy looking thing to make you feel good about spending money on the app.As for what boosts do, they push your profile to the front of the photo stack that girls see for 30 minutes. You do not have to be actively using the app to get the boost.If you swipe right on some profiles with the boost and that person logs in a day later and swipes right on you, Tinder will tell you it was because it was boosted because that makes you more likely to spend money.But, when I experimented with boosts I found that I did not have to be on the app. I didn’t even have to be in the area I boosted in. I could log in, in Nashville and use a boost then shut down the app and go home.After that, I would come back to work the next day and do a few swipes and still get my boosted matches. The way I tested that they actually were boosted matches and not some BS Tinder trap was because I had my profile far longer than I normally would (new profiles get an automatic and free boost).I used my cell phone pictures to get a few matches in the first month (like normal, but I used cell phone pics over camera pics because I wanted to stunt my match percentage a little bit to truly understand what boosts did). I got the same number of matches that I was expecting.After the first month I used a boost and got 8 matches. Which is under the amount that I get as a new profile using my cell phone pics (10–11 a day for the first few days).That means that I didn’t even get as many matches from a paid boost as I do from having a brand new profile. At college, is there anything wrong with going home every weekend?
I happen to be lucky that my home is about 30 minutes away from my school, and 10 minutes from my dad's work. My dad picks me up every friday after work. I love being with my family, they help me cope with my stress at college and I just feel like being at home satisfies my well being. I'm not into partying, drinking, and things like that either. During weekends, the only lively things that go on at my school are mostly sports events, parties, concerts, etc.- none of which I'm interested in. It just seems extremely awkward that Im the only guy in my dorm that goes home EVERY weekend since week zero.

well honey my guess is u haven't found the one u r willing to give the chance with ur heart. there is nothing wrong with u, u probably have walls up. i am in my 30s and only been in love once. i have a hard time giving my heart to anyone else, afraid they will tear me up. to many people cheating now days. so many don't have morals or values. it takes loyalty and honesty to make it work, and so many aren't willing to do that. if ur like me u read yahoo Q/A and see all the hurt, cheating, and B.S. that it makes the walls go higher. sometimes i get down thinking i never been married and the older i get it isn't looking to promising, it makes me sad, because i used to be such a giver and a hopless romantic, but am afraid i don't have anything left for anyone. so like u i have a good job and spend alot of hrs working. sorry don't mean to be so negitive (don't worry honey u'll find him when u least expect it :) maybe u have over look him when he was rt in front of u.
