Why Do I Eat Everything At Night

How do I stop my Beagle from eating everything in sight!?

Your dog can be controlled, but you have to take charge.

When dogs don't have someone leading them and being the boss, they assume that position. In their minds, being leader means they can do anything they want to do.

It will take some work on your part to solve the problem, but you begin by asserting your dominance. The following link leads to a great site by a guy who is a genius when it comes to dogs.

Is it wrong to eat chicken every night for dinner?

There is nothing wrong with eating chicken for dinner every night. It is one of the most versatile food items. You purchase or make a BBQ or Roast chicken, eat it hot the first night, have a sandwich the next night (sliced chicken, whole cranberry sauce and lettuce are really good). If there is any chicken left, make a healthy salad, using salad greens, cut up chicken, thinly sliced onion and sliced berries or tomatoes and a lite raspberry salad dressing, Ken's Steak House Raspberry lite salad dressings can be found in most supermarkets. You can also toss chicken pieces with cooked whole wheat or whole grain pasta and add some home made or store bought sauce.

If you get bored with the chicken, you can try some bean dishes and many people who don't like fish do like canned tuna fish.

Why do I get very hungry at night after eating all day?

Our body store calory in 2 ways: glycogen (in liver and muscle) and fat (especially in belly). Fat is the secondary energy source for us, our body will call for help (hunger) if we depleted the glycogen store even if don't use fat just yet. That because glycogen will be broken down into blood sugar while fat not. If our blood sugar is low, we feel the hunger. Unfortunately, or glycogen store may only last for about 6 hours, unless we don't do much activity (i.e. sleep, while our body only do basal metabolic rate). If we do activity, our glycogen will be depleted faster, and we do get hungry.

How do I stop binge eating everything in sight?

First of all begin to train yourself to eat nothing for two or three hours after you have had a meal or snack. (Or, after a binge).Agree with yourself to have three meals (a meal is about 1 plate full of food, make sure that you include vegetables for lunch and evening meal, and fruit at breakfast) and two or three snacks (a snack is maybe 1 fist full of food) per day. Set time windows when you intend to eat the meals and snacks, for example at between 7 and 8 AM, between 10 and 11 AM, between 1 and 2 PM, between 3 and 4 PM and between 6 and 7 PM, and then maybe a small snack between 8.30 and 9.30 PM. You can adjust the times to suit your own daily program, as long as you leave two to three hours between eating moments. If you want to eat when it’s not time to eat, tell yourself you can eat again in (x) minutes. It’s easier if you know you will never need to wait longer than 2 or 3 hours. Distract yourself in the meantime: do something relaxing or something useful. If you feel you MUST eat or binge and it’s not time to eat, try to delay eating by just 3 minutes. The clue is that these guidelines help you to train yourself to ignore urges to (over)eat. That’s of utmost importance.Apart from that, also make sure that you eat at least 3, preferably 5 servings of vegetables per day and 3 servings of fruit. Have at least 1 but preferably 2–3 serving spoons of beans / legumes, preferably with lunch. Eat 1 oz of nuts daily.Getting in enough healthy food leaves no room for junkfood and sweets and supplies your body with much-needed vitamins and minerals. It’s junkfood and sweets, and lack of sufficient nutrients that tend to keep us ‘addicted’ and longing for more (and more, and more).Good luck.

How do I stop my dog from eating everything around my house?

This might sound like an impossible task but it's your job as a dog owner to police your house and remove all items or put them out of their reach.Years ago we brought this sweet female American Cocker Spaniel puppy home who turned out to be a chewing nightmare. She could destroy a pair of shoes to the point you couldn't identify them. She got over a dozen of my sunglasses and in Vegas you have to have sunglasses. She would chew anything she could get her little paws on - thus began our “Great House Purge".We bought her plenty of dog toys to play with and for her to chew on. Then we went room by room in the house and either remove or put items out of reach that she should not chew on. We trained ourselves not to leave any items in her reach. If you left your closet open and she got a pair of shoes, it was your fault, not hers.35 years later that is still my rule and philosophy, if the dogs get it, it's your fault. But I do make special allowances for the Great Danes. Special measures and training have to be taken with dogs that can browse the counter tops. Now, this might seem like we are catering to our dogs, it's not. We use an approach of completely removing the habit or temptation and they will out grow it or forget about it after some time passes.Plus it teaches the humans in the household to put things in their proper place the first time. No dropping clothes or dirty towels on the floor. No piled up of newspapers or magazines. Cuts down on clutter and bad housekeeping on a grand scale.Only 1 dog was so bad, tearing up installed carpet, multiple Lazy Boy rockers and other things that blew my mind. We got a wire dog kennel that he went in when we were out. He was never in the kennel for more than 2–4 hours, a period between me coming home from work or night classes while my parents went out to a local casino for the evening to play bingo. We left the kennel there after his “bad" period passed and he would go to it during the day as his place to nap and chill out.If you chose to use a kennel, Google the subject, read up on it. Never leave the dog for extended periods of time in the kennel and make it a positive experience. Make the kennel their safe place but also a place you can keep them out of mischief until they outgrow the chewing. And they will outgrow it. I have 10 dogs and only my 7 month old Boston Terrier chews up her toys.

Is a everything bagel with plain cream cheese healthy to eat at 10 at night?

Whatever you eat will be just as healthy or unhealthy as it would be any other time of day. If you are generally healthy and this is a once in awhile thing, then I wouldn't even worry about it. If you were talking about trying to keep off weight though, all that really matters is how many calories you burn during the day overall. It doesn't matter as much WHEN you eat it as long as you compensated earlier in the day by burning calories.

Binge Eating at night any tips to stop?

Hi i'm trying to lose weight. I eat decent throughout the day then at like 10:00 I eat everything in site. I mean like 4,000Cal worth...Any tips to stop and motivational advice to keep me going to the gym because most of the time I say forget it

Will I lose weight if I eat whatever I want, but run every night for 30 minutes?

Obviously no according to everybody else's answer but here's some information. In order to lose weight, you have to be in a caloric defecit which basically means you must burn more calories than you consume. Say you need to eat 2600 calories a day to lose 1 pound a week, you'll have to burn more than 2600 a day in order to lose weight. "What? If running 30 minutes only burns 200 calories a day how on Earth am I going to burn more than 2600 a day?!?"Easy, basically we burn calories when we're "resting" or not exercising at all. It's called a Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR). For example if you lift weights for an hour and do some cardio and burn 1000 calories and add your RMR and as an example, let's say it's 1800 calories a day, that would mean that you burned 2800 calories. So you consumed 2600 calories and burned 2800 calories, now let's put it in the formula. 2600 calories (consumed) - 2800 calories (burned) = -200 calories (200 calories deficit) If you are, consistently, in a caloric defecit, you will lose weight. And vice versa for gaining weight as well. In order to gain weight, you now have to be in caloric surplus which is the opposite of a caloric defecit. Just consume more calories then you do burn. That's why people who want to gain weight should avoid cardio. Cardio burns calories and speeds up your metabolism (especially High intensity interval training). Hope this helps and good luck to you and your fitness goals!
