Why Do I Feel Drunk Everyday Is This A Seizure Or A Migraine

Is stomach pain, with a seizure, headache, fever as in feeling cold, anything related to a brain tumour?

UPDATED
This could be an inflammatory-bowel condition (Crohn's disease, irritable-bowel syndrome etc.) or it could indicate a more serious disease of the bowel.

Cramps and fever in combination with frequent-chronic diarrhea are possible symptoms of bowel cancer, that's not to say it is.

Because you've had this for 6 months, you need to see your doctor URGENTLY, if only to rule out cancer.

Ask for a full-spectrum blood test, and if that shows no increased white-cell count or other anomalies, and further tests he might decide to use, indicate no cancer, he will probably test for the inflammatory-bowel complaints as mentioned and go from there; also don't rule out the appendix as a cause, it's not unknown for appendicitis to last this long without rupture or sepsis.

If this is a disease, it may be progressing, so see your doctor urgently.

UPDATE
--------------------------------------...
The pain from acute appendicitis is sharp and unbearable unlike the dull pain felt in some other disorders of the bowel; appendicitis pain would present in your lower abdomen (from your point of view), just below and to the right of your belly button.

It is possible for a person's appendix to become inflammed a number of times before they progress to full-blown appendicitis (the acute stage).

The personality changes and difficulty understanding people, could be due to many disorders affecting a particular region of your brain; or it could be a complication of sepsis (infected material in your blood-stream) from an infection elsewhere in your body (perhaps from your appendix, which may have been passing infection to your blood stream for some time, without rupturing).

You may also have undiagnosed diabetes, which would explain some of your symptoms.

As I mentioned, you also need examination to rule out:

acute appendicitis; and
bowel cancer.

Only a doctor who can examine you will be able to accurately diagnose what you are suffering from.
If you've had ill health for 6 months, it is clear that this is not going to resolve itself without medical help.

You definitely need to see your doctor, urgently.

How can I prevent the "day after drinking" migraine and all around feeling terrible?

It seems that I can't drink alcoholic beverages anymore, at all. It doesn't seem to matter how much, what kind it is, or if I've eaten or not. Even 1 or 2 glasses of white wine will do it to me. I don't feel drunk before I go to bed, but I wake up in the middle of the night with a migraine, throwing up, and the whole next day is shot for me. I am not a big drinker, but would like to be able to do so socially. Please help!!

Why do migraine-headaches hurt so damn bad?

A migraine is a headache, usually occurring only on one side of the head, sometimes preceded by visual disturbances and often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, or sensitivity to light or noise.

Smoking has been identified as a trigger for many people.

Certain foods, especially chocolate, cheese, nuts, alcohol, and monosodium glutamate (MSG), may trigger migraine headaches. (MSG is a flavor enhancer used in many foods, including Chinese dishes.)

Missing a meal or changing sleep patterns may bring on a headache.

Stress and tension are also risk factors. People often have migraines during times of increased emotional or physical stress.

Contraceptives (birth control pills) are a common trigger. Women may have migraines at the end of the pill cycle as the estrogen component of the pill is stopped. This is called an estrogen-withdrawal headache.

Migraine-specific abortive medications usually are necessary for moderate to severe migraine headaches. The abortive medications for moderate or severe migraine headaches are different than OTC analgesics. Instead of relieving pain, they abort headaches by counteracting the cause of the headache, dilation of the temporal arteries. In fact, they cause narrowing of the arteries. Examples of migraine-specific abortive medications are the triptans and ergot preparations.

Hope this helps.

The first time I had a migraine I didn't know what I was experiencing so I didn't know how to medicate myself.I was in the grocery store shopping, I was reading a package and all of a sudden I couldn't focus on what I was reading because I couldn't see it.  I got that visual distortion in my field of vision that feels like you have been staring at a light bulb for too long, and you look away and you still have that afterimage in front of your eyes.  Do you know what I mean?  It looked exactly like that and I thought to myself "huh.  that's weird, I don't remember staring at a light bulb... I guess must have"  And I just kept on shopping & drove myself home.  On the drive home my vision did not improve - infact, the visual distortion got bigger and bigger and eventually formed a ring that expanded out to the sides of my field of vision.  I was worried I wouldn't be able to see well enough to drive. When I got home I had this full blown overwhelming sick feeling.   Like I was seasick.  My head just had a slight pain & did not hurt much at first, just overwhelming nausea and everything was way too loud and too bright.  I went into my room, shut the blinds, turned the lights out and curled up under the pillows thinking I had food poisoning.  Eventually I couldn't take it anymore and called my mom who immediately informed me that it was a migraine and I should take lots of ibuprofen and caffeine.I have since learned to spot the symptoms. If I don't take immediate caffeine and ibuprofen, I will be completely unable to function.  Everything will hurt, light, sound, movement, talking, sitting, you name it - complete debilitating nausea & pain & a desire to shut down and lay down in the dark.  But, if I catch the staring at the light bulb show early, I just grab a cup of coffee and down 3 ibuprofen with it & bam!  No pain just a desire to take it easy and not move my head too fast.So stare at a light bulb for about 30 seconds then look away if you want to know what the early onset of a migraine might feel like to you. :)  Then go on a roller coaster or spin in a circle for about 5 minutes and then you'll know what the progression of a migraine might feel like.

I am writing this based on 30 years of my own experience of reducing migraine headaches sans medicines. So, this is a proven method, which can be used by all migraine-affected people, with zero side effects. It reduces the frequency of migraine attacks substantially, for sure. Here is my simple but very very effective remedy to prevent/reduce migraine headaches:always cover your eyes with a good-quality pair of sunglasses & also cover your head with a comfortable cap/hat, whenever you go out in the sun/in any kind of glare. Wear the sun-glasses & the cap/hat all the time when you are outdoors, or when you feel that the glare is too much to bear;Eat something at your daily-intake times, without exceptions. What you eat & how much you eat is secondary. What is vital is to feed your stomach at regular intervals, or at/around the time you normally consume food everyday. This eradicates the ill-effects of bile & prevents headaches;Do not keep awake late at night. Ideally, a 11 pm to 6 am sleep is desirable. Also, try to stick to your daily routine, to the extent feasible & avoid erratic daily routines as far as you can;Keep stress as low/less as feasible. Try your best & then, accept the results coolly. Worrying over what is beyond your control is a invitation to migraine headaches;Have more fruits, salads, nuts & other natural foods. Avoid processed/non-veg./fried foods, or consume as less of it as may be possible; For peace of mind, do meditation (focus on breathing) daily, morning & night. Vipassana meditation is very good;Keep this attitude as regards the results, after putting in your best efforts: 0% expectations & 100% acceptance. This will reduce stress & thus, reduce the frequency & intensity of headaches. Do your best & then, accept the outcome with grace & equanimity. This attitude will reduce headaches.

My limit is about 7. I've been all the way thrice in my life. These days, I typically stop at 2 or 3. With beers, I tend to stop at about 2 at most. Usually 1. With hard liquor (which I tend to drink neat, on the rocks or with just a dash of mixer) I go up to 3 or (rarely) 4. The difference between beer drunkenness and hard liquor drunkenness is a lot more peeing. If you are being smart enough to drink some water along the way, to pre-empt hangovers, peeing increases for both. Here are the stages, for me. Drink 1: (once you've acquired the taste) Anticipatory relaxation/winding down.Drink 2: RelaxationDrink 3: Increased lucidityDrink 4: Increased visual-spatial-aural giddiness, increased lucidityDrink 5: Lucidity starts to dissolve into incoherence, giddiness increasesDrink 6: Giddiness slips into nauseaDrink 7: Nausea turns into vomitSome reactions (like flushing) are genetic. I don't flush.

Why do I get a headache every day?

How often a day do you get them? And how severe are they? I went for 77 days straight with severe headaches 3-4 times a day. I had cat scans and all kinds of blood work done, and found out I had no tumors or anything. My doctor ended up putting me on a medication called Propranolol. And believe me I am SO thankful. I truly don't know how much longer I could have taken it. So I would definitly go get another opinion. I have been on the medication for 2 years and have had no side effects. Good Luck!

With little food across a day, there is a high percentage that not much water or liquids have been consumed as well. Many of my post-menopausal migraines now are initiated by dehydration, leading to my first and strongest recommendation in immediately drinking a full cup of water as soon as the head feels the clamp of onset.Rehydrating is the first concern followed swiftly by eating a protein, such as cheese or slice of meat or hardboiled egg or hummus with a high fiber cracker or thin piece of whole grain toast. The second concern and possibly first in effect is low blood sugar. Your brain fires on blood sugar. Pull that plug by not eating and the brain can retaliate with brain fog and a headache. The intensity of that headache will ramp up markedly if the body … and brain … are dehydrated. An NSAID would also be helpful here as a migraine, once in full shriek, is quite difficult to remedy. Now that a headache has presented itself in a fasting state, this tips off that fasting for the carb or sugar-sensitive is one that requires careful planning. Drink plenty of water to mitigate the headache onset or, better yet, carry small protein/high-fiber snacks that will carry through to a reasonable meal. And here I add that I’m not in a medical occupation but am speaking from migraineur experience. This means if a headache is persistent despite efforts, then seeking professional medical advice somewhere other than the internet is the best advice I can offer.

Why do I get a headache everyday answers quick please?

I'm 13 years old and female and for the last week or so I've been getting headaches daily. They really hurt, and it's not like they're actually at the top of my skull, they're on my forehead and around my eyes, and feel like my skull is bruised. I don't ever wake up with them, they develop during the day. I hardly go near bright lights or hear really loud noises. I can see well when these headaches occur. I have one right now, but the paracetamol is kicking in. My mum said they're probably from not eating and/or drinking enough, so today I've eaten and drunk loads, but it's here again. Can someone help me? I don't want my half term to be ruined. Thank you!

You’re not going to like the answer:It’s because you drink so much you’re still drunk when you wake up the next day. It take a full day to metabolize what you’ve drunk (presumably 20–30 drinks) and start the actual hangover. You’re drinking WAY too much.1st EDIT: And by “way too much,” if you keep doing this, you’ll have the kind of “hangovers” where you get seizures that can kill if you don’t get a medical detox.I drank this much a couple of times circa 2005 and wound up in the psych ward. It is NOT recommended.
