Why Do I Have A Hard Heart Beat And Bubbly Stomach

Why do I feel a pulse in my stomach, right of my belly button? (Am I nervous?)

What you are feeling is normal, there are many places on your body where you can feel your pulse, but what you are feeling is your abdominal aorta. It is possible that you are noticing it more when you are anxious because your pulse is higher when anxious. Abdominal aorta

My dogs stomach is not very large, I feel bubbles/popcorn. Due to have puppies any day.?

My dog is showing all the signs of pregnancy. Her stomach is not very large. Although her chest area is. I called a vet and they said she may have the puppies in her chest. I feel a lot of bubbles in her stomach, Last night my wife and I both said it feels like popcorn popping. She is nesting, just got milk in 2 days ago, very lazy. I wont leave her side but i think I am making myself crazy and it might just be a false pregnancy. Temp has been around 100.5 - 99.5. She started her cycle on May 3rd. Our male puppy was only 5 months old. So we never thought twice to leave them alone. Has anyone had a dog not "look" pregnant and still have pups ? Can someone please tell me if I can tells the signs from real and false pregnancy. I have been researching on the internet for weeks, day in and day out.

Can cocaine upset your stomach?

I think this questions is probably coming from concern about feeling in your stomach after taking cocaine? So understanding what’s going on physically may help.Taking cocaine which is a stimulant causes the release of dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin. Now the relevant bit here is norepinephrine also called noradrenaline (NA) or noradrenalin, This is how our nervous systems responds to danger or threat (Fight or Flight syndrome) and it causes physical changes to the body:respiration increases, usually faster shallower breaths in the upper chestheart rate increases (cocaine is also a vasoconstrictor- so your blood vessels get smaller increasing pressure)blood moves away from the surface (increasing temperature= sweating)pupils dilate ( to let in more light)This is to redirect blood to the muscles so you can fight or flight(run away)Now our bodies are a closed system and can’t rapidly produce more blood so when threatened or stressed or aroused, blood is diverted from areas that aren’t important to fighting or running away. The two main areas denied blood are the digestive system, this is the butterfly's you get when you are nervous (about to go on stage) its simply the blood leaving your digestive system which uses lots of energy (why you get tired after eating a big meal)This is also why people who use cocaine regularly learn to go to the toilet once they decide to use, after a while they don’t even need to take the drug to trigger this response, simply deciding to take a line will trigger the desire to go to the toilet!another organ that’s very important during this process is the higher rational areas of the brain, we don’t need to be smart to escape danger we need to be quick so stress actually makes thinking more difficult, in particular the ares of the brain needed to think about consequences (if I spend all my money of cocaine now i won’t have any money for the rest of the week/month) this is why when triggered and craving people seem to make stupid decisions and why stress is so linked to drug use/misuse.Alcohol also impacts on these areas of the brain!I have known people who get such a strong response to even the idea of using cocaine (particularly crack) that they are physically sick (vomit) when the decide to use or immediately after using- this is a physical response triggered by a learned psychological cue- some people even think this is proof they have no choice but to use cocaine or that they have no control or choice over their use.

Heartbeat: I feel a strong pulse below my ribcage. What is it?

I can flex/push my stomach out and make this stirring noise. What does that mean?

For the past 6 and a half months, according to my doctor, I have acid reflux or an excess amount of acid being created in my stomach. My stomach has been stirring a lot on its own but sometimes when its not, I can flex or push my stomach out and it'll make the stirring noise. I can do this over and over again and it was funny and first but now its just worrying me.

Also, sometimes I can feel a very strong pulse in my stomach area. And I've been getting these headaches that make the veins near my temples bulge out. The headaches feel very constricted. It just pulses very hard with my heart and it just feels like my head is going to explode.

I am currently taking Omeprazole and I know for a fact its not causing these headaches. But its just for your reference. Thanks so much in advance.

Heart problem. Or anxiety?

I had the feeling again today, it passed after a couple hours, then when i went outside to run, it came back very lightly, i ran regardless of it, and as i focused on my breathing, it passed. the first bit of running i covered close to 3/4 mile in maybe 4 minutes. i route i take might be close to 2.5 miles, on the last stretch i pushed mysself.. i was pretty wore out as im not in much shape. it may have only been .15 of a mile, the feeling didnt return, but i decided to take my bloodpressure for fun roughly 5 min afterward. my bloodpressure normall runs 122/79 or something like that, with resting hr at 72. my stats this time were 110/70 @ 127 bpm. note: my left hand did feel a bit numb, and i was light headed, but i feel that may of been just from excertion?
