Katy Perry she's a very inspirational artist gotta say she kinda sings bad at live BUT! Sorry to burst your bubbles of opinions and Googleing.I've been with the recording team with few of the international artists. And Katty is among them.She's an incredible artist with fab vocals, besides being a social helper. Katty along with her fellow artists like Beyoncé and Taylor Swift find Indian traditions and delicacies very interesting. When I met Katty in year 2011, she told me how she was fascinated by Indian culture (was sharing her thoughts and wanted to know more about Indian ethnics because I am Indian). She told me about the story how she got her tattoo and her visit to India.“Me and Russel were exploring a part of western India called Jaipur and it was so hot, yet beautiful. We loved how Indian traditions are. I personally loved their dressing sense and all the stuff the locals wore on their arms. And that red dot on forehead of every women (bindi is what she meant). I wanted to take away something valuable thing from India but the queen already had the diamond with her (she laughed) so I got this tattoo in sanskrit. I've seen how Indians go with their traditions since ancient times. Yet they're good competitors for rest of the world in every field who changed their traditions for the sake of being dominant.”So ultimately she got tattooed because she loves Indian tradition.
