Why do we always fight if we love each other?
I agree a lot with the answer that Mehul Kondappally has written here. I would like to give you my perspective on it.I am in a relationship with this girl from last 2 years and she has an opposite nature than mine. As true it is that opposites attract, it is also equally true that they also fight a lot. Couple who have opposite nature tend to fight a lot among each other. It’s because their likes, dislikes, tastes and preferences differ a lot.One of the things is of course “expectations”. When both partners have different level of expectations from each other, there are definitely going to be frustrations and arguments. For example in my relationship, I am an emotionally demanding person, I like attention, I am an extrovert and I expect my partner to open up with me and communicate directly. But given that she is an introvert, she is really shy and she hates all the attention and limelight. She wishes to be left alone and have some space. These different choices and preferences always come up and ends up into fights. However, after being together for 2 years we have learned to manage our differences and worked out ways in which both of us don’t feel disappointed.One of the things which many might not agree with me here is that couples who are of same age or with little age difference tend to fight more. Me and my girlfriend are of same age group and we both wish to do things as per our own wishes. We have occasional disagreements on issues and again, that brings up fights. But those things aren’t really that important.Healthy fights and arguments are a part of a healthy relationship. Basically when two people come together, everything isn’t rosy. People have different tastes and preferences and being in a relationship takes efforts and patience, more than what one can imagine. But all the fights are worth it. In my case, I found that with every fight that we had, it made us to come closer and work together.
How to win an "I love you more" fight?
I love you so much more I don't want to argue with you because it pains me to much, baby! Erm..you might feel better if you leave out the baby but just say you love her so much more you can't stand the feeling to argue with her! :D
Why do Italians love to yell & argue so much?
I am from Italy. We speak what is in our mind and we don't want to hide it. It is not a "love to yell and argue". A lot of Italians enjoy to sing and speak and laugh and express for everything, and argue, also, and maybe you think it is a temper anger always but we like to communicate for interactions as uninhibited. I know that we have a fame as "volatile", but we understand what the other ones think because they speak it actually and they don't inhibit their self to conceal the thoughts much. A lot of people I meet in the US that are not Italian or "Italian-American" don't talk a lot and they conceal their thoughts and act as guarded as they are ashamed about it. I prefer to communicate about experiences that happen now, immediately, as I want, as loud or not and I don't care if some people don't like it. It's not my concern. The most of us don't "love to yell", we love to communicate as uninhibited free!
Why do couples fight?
because you care enough about each other to notice the flaws. fighting is a way of working past the problems. instead of making each other sad, or angry or upset in any way just talk and make each other understand the problems you are facing, if you love each other then you will always fight and always work past the problems, if you never work past the problems its gonna end badly. talk to her, tell her why you love her and how much she means to you and just ask her to talk to you when something is bothering her. my boyfriend made up this rule for our relationship. "if there is an issue, over explain it." meaning take the problem you have and bring out all the details of it, talk til there is nothing left to say. fighting sucks, and it hurts but love is worth it. good luck :)
