Why Do I Puke Mostly Everytime I Get Drunk

Why do I spit up the fizz from soda after drinking it? It mostly happens with Coke but sometimes with any other soda I drink?

When I'm drinking a soda, almost instantly I feel the urge to burp, but when I do I end up spitting up fizz from the soda. It's not painful and it doesn't feel like I'm vomiting. It happens whether it's pour in a cup, in a can, or in a bottle. And it's not like I'm literally drinking the fizzy part of the soda. I'm drinking the liquid itself. I'm not an avid soda drinker. I only drink on occasion. Please help me understand what is happening. I doubt it's anything serious but it would be wonderful to understand what's going on inside my body.

Why am I vomiting every time after I eat?

There are so many reasons ..1.If you forcibly eat food even though you have eaten sufficient amount of food ,then your stomach will try to vomit the extra food you have eaten .So, this you will get vomiting sensation .2.If you drink more water after completing your satisfactory meal.3.If you are trying to eat the food even though you won’t like it then will experience vomiting sensation.4.This reason based on surroundings where you eat , if the surroundings were not clean and produces foul odour (smell ) .5.May the quality of food you are eating is poor.6.Lack of sleep may also give you vomiting sensation whenever you eat on that day.7.If all the above reasons were not the reasons for your vomiting sensation then Consult a doctor immediately .. you may experiencing some digestive system functioning problem.Murali :-)

Why is it that whenever I drink, I throw up? I honestly can not take one sip of vodka, wine, beer, etc. without instantly puking.

I don’t know where you genetically come from, but if you are of East Asian or Native American ancestry, you might be genetically intolerant to alcohol. The human body metabolizes alcohol in two steps, using different enzymes for each step. First the ethanol is being oxydized to ethanal (acetaldehyde), which is toxic. In the second step the ethanal gets oxydized to acetic acid, which is then removed from the body via the urine. Each step required a different enzyme to get it working. People with generic alcohol intolerance do not produce the second enzyme and are thus poisoning themselves with acetaldehyde. This condition is quite common among people from East Asia (my Ex-girlfriend is Filipino-Chinese and her and several others of her family, mostly women, get very sick if they just drink a little bit of alcohol. The same applies to the Singapore Chinese wife of my uncle) and native Americans.

Why do drunk people vomit?

Drinking is a subjective term. Some people have 1 or 2 pegs aka the ones who like to be in control while the other have an episode of binge drinking..that was the drinking part! Now comes the metabolism part… it is basically how your body reacts to alcohol or breaks it down to metabolites. It primarily occurs in liver, muscles being secondary. The basic conversion is alcohol (ethanol) the substance which people drink for is a depressant for the brainAnd the liver metabolises it by an enzyme ALCOHOL DEHYDROGENASE so Ethanol is converted to Acetaldehyde some amount of this acetaldehyde is released in blood and the rest is converted to ACETATE. This Acetate is released in blood. Now this ethanol and acetate are poisonous substances, which cross the blood brain barrier when they exceed a specific limit and stimulate the CHEMORECEPTOR TRIGGER ZONE (CTZ) situated in the MEDULLA OBLONGATA of the brain stem which is the vomitting centre of the human brain. Not just alcohol ..many drugs, some ear conditions and motion sickness work through stimulation of this centre. This was about the stimulus now what happens if the CTZ is stimulated by acetate and acetaldehyde..it has connections with the brain stem from where the vagus nerve originates, it is chiefly responsible for the motility of your gastro intestinal system! That is what causes diarrhoea when a person is way anxious or in worry! This vagus increases the motility of the stomach and esophagus which then expells out the content in the stomach (food and the non metabolised alcohol) in the form of vomitting! Alcohol is volatile thats what gives a typical smell when a bottle of alcohol is opened in a room or you can smell it when a drunk person passes by or talks to yo that is alochol is excreted in a person's breath by the lungs! And the increased tendency to pee(diuresis) is other way to excrete it.When there is an imbalance between Intake & Metabolism and Excretion, vomitting and other ill effects of alcohol occur! The concentration of alcohol in blood is measured in mg%. Less than 50 is safe and does make you euphoric but as it increases it may have fatal effects..if it exceeds 100 then it may cause vertigo, altered perception, slurred speech and imbalance lf emotions! Above 400 it can cause death! Vomitting occurs between any levels greater than 60 to less than 300 after which it is fatal! Some people do vomit out with smell of alcohol and it is pschological as a dislike for the smell too stimulates the CTZ!

If you vomit when drinking, are you still drunk?

When you consume alcohol, it starts being absorbed into your body right away, (from your mouth, to your stomach, intestines, etc.). Remember, the job of your digestion system process is to try to absorb all of the nutrients from whatever you eat or drink...even alcohol. When your body starts processing alcohol, you will start to have a measurable Blood Alcohol Content, (BAC), and simply said, that results in intoxication or getting drunk.
Drinking alcoholic beverages with higher alcohol content and in larger quantities, will increase your BAC more rapidly. The more alcohol that your body absorbs, the higher your BAC will be. When your body fully metabolizes the alcohol in your system, (or fully processes and eliminates the alcohol), from your body, the BAC lessens.
If any alcohol has already been absorbed by your body, a BAC will be present until the alcohol is completely metabolized. Vomiting, will not change that. What vomiting will do, is prevent additional alcohol from being absorbed into your blood...your body can't process what isn't there...thus preventing the absorption of additional alcohol.
However, you should know that even if you vomit after consuming alcohol, if any of the alcohol you consumed was already in the process of your body's digestive system process, that alcohol, will not be vomited because it was already used up by your body and in the process of creating a Blood Alcohol Content...thus, intoxicating you. This process will take several minutes for you to actually "feel it," so, if alcohol has already been absorbed by your body, vomiting will not stop what has already been started and you can feel drunk later on after vomiting, even if you didn't feel drunk when you vomited.

Hope that helps answer your question!

Still drunk from last night ?

Get off Y!Answers. take a fantastic voyage to the restroom and try to make yourself throw up again. If you cant...pour a few glasses of water or gatorade...Sip that..Turn the a/c on high
Go lay in the bed get under the covers, close your eyes and be still.
Clear your mind and relax.

Your dehydrated...But I hope you had fun last night :-)
Its always worth it....I guess

Edit: If you can..try to eat some crackers

If you are drunk, how do you sober up quick?

Honestly, the best way to sober quick is to actually puke if you need to get that extra alcohol outta your system. However, depending on how many drinks you've had it may take awhile!! Drink a lot of water and also try to eat carbohydrates that will absorb some of the alcohol like crackers, a sandwich, pizza, pretzels...whatever! Also coffee will help you more quickly making you feel more alert and it may help the alcohol pass through your body faster.

Why do i throw up when i drink beer foam?

sooo heres the question in better detail... me and a friend are trying to figure out why people throw up when consuming beer foam.. or just vomit up beer foam.. is it because of the pressure? or the carb? idk if you have a good idea please let me know. thanks appreciate it.

What can cause a person to vomit after drinking Coke?

This used to happen to me. It was a combination of not being accustomed to carbonated beverages and not knowing how to belch up the gas in my tummy - I would feel all full of fizz, and because I couldn't burp it out, in trying to do so I would wind up puking. I wasn't raised on fizzy drinks and rarely had them. Once I learned to do the massive belch that others did after downing a can of coke, I was fine, but its weird that it took experience drinking that sort of stuff to learn to do so! It's something no other type of food or beverage causes, that level of gas / burping - just soda and beer, and mostly people encounter soda before they've learned to drink beer.Just my personal experience, of course - theoretically it could be caused by all sorts of stuff!(Now I just mostly don't drink pop)

Why do i blackout so much but never puke from alcohol?

Blacking out means your body is too worried about breathing and keeping your central nervous system alive that it doesn't have the energy to keep/make memories- that part of your brian gets shut down. Alcohol is a depressant, so it can slow your heart, etc, dangerously low.

From what I've noticed, some people just puke from alcohol more than others. I think this has to do with your just your natural gag reflex.

Not having hangovers means your brian isn't dehydrated. Somehow, you managed to drink enough water. Or you slept it off well. Or your body just digests the alcohol quickly, so it is mostly out of your system by morning.
