Why don't some conservatives believe in global warming and why don't some liberals agree with the 2nd Amendment?
I guess I would be labeled a “liberal” by today’s standard of labeling people rather than listening to them and rationally talking with them.I don’t know if “some” conservatives believe in global warming or not. Nor do I care. The issue is really about the contribution of fossil fuels to global warming.Global warming and its causes have been twisted from the common conclusion of the global scientific community into some sort of myth or conspiracy. If you don’t believe in Santa Claus, do you go about telling children it is a conspiracy to sell toys? Of course not.I, and all the people I know who could also be labeled as liberals, agree with the 2nd amendment. What they don’t agree with is people going into a school, church, concert or theater and randomly shooting everyone. The issue is about random killings with auto or semi-automatic military weapons. Does the second amendment protect that? Of course not.The second amendment seems to be twisted by today’s logic from “A well regulated militia” to “unlimited and unrestrained access”.Smoke screens such as this question confuse people as to what the real issues are and attempt to turn these issues into political debates rather than a call to action.Are we afraid to address these issues? Only those with an agenda are. If not, just get out of the way or help the discussions to start.
Why do Liberals believe in things without evidence (Global Warming, Holocaust, etc.) but deny God?
All scientific organizations worldwide agree that climate change is a real problem facing us in the 21st century. The majority of credible scientists agree as well. Religion is on the decline because it's complete utter bull crap! People are not falling for your lies, they are realizing that science has completely shattered your Bible into pieces. Evolution is a fact. Climate Change is a real problem. Wake up!
Besides "Global Warming", what else has the Liberal Insurgency been lying to America about?
Everything. No, seriously. In my nearly 50 years on this planet, I have learned that absolutely every word out of the mouth of a liberal is a lie. No exceptions. Liberals are incapable of speaking unless they're lying. If a liberal ever tells the truth, he swells up and stops breathing. The truth is like a bee sting to a liberal, and the liberal is allergic to bee stings. If a liberal ever inadvertently says something that is true, he must be rushed to the hospital immediately and put on life support. You can always tell if a liberal is lying. If he's liberal, he's lying. It's that simple.
Why do conservatives deny global warming?
Ok, I'm not trying to debate whether human-caused global warming is real. My question is, why is it that conservatives (and especially american conservatives) deny global warming so strongly? I can understand why they would disagree with stuff like the Kyoto agreement (because it involves funding other countries), but why do right-wing people intrinsically distrust science? Why not accept the facts and then debate how to deal with the problem? This could be a separate question, but I'll include it here. People often say that scientists "have" to agree with the global warming theory because their grants come from the government and you don't bite the hand that feeds you. But why is it the vast majority of scientists all over the world agree, regardless of the political inclination of the government ruling them? In particular, (most) american scientists have long agreed, even during periods with republicans in power. I would ask why liberals DO believe it, but it seems to me that trusting the scientists is the logical thing to do. After all, they probably know what they're talking about better than fox news commentators.

How do people believe in this garbage? I guarantee that nobody can name even a single NON LIBERAL scientist that supports the existence of global warming. What's next when winter comes we're gonna be discussing global cooling? I mean just think about how the snow falls every winter even in the great deserts of eygpt... how could the earth be heating up when it is covered in snow. Checkmate climate scientists. And my dad drives a hummer and we never recycle. Shouldn't I be noticing the thermometer changing when we do that stuff? it just doesn't make sense.
