My ex has a new girl... she's prettier than me... and my self-esteem took a big hit?
The truth of the matter is that there is always going to be someone prettier than someone else is this world and you just accept it. Just like there is someone prettier than this new girl. I'm sure you guys broke up for certain reason and even if you got back together those same reasons are still going to be there. It's fine that you care for your ex and its also okay if you always do have feelings for him,it happens. I wouldn't take it personally that he has a new g/f so soon, he may not have planned it- but it happened and he couldn't ignore it. Just like if an amazing guy crossed your path. Lot's of people delete ex's off of Facebook just to respect his new girls feelings. I think you need a self-esteem boost since it took a bit of hit. I would go out get your hair done all pretty, buy a new outfit, get your nails done and go out with some friends and get some male atten. Just be friendly and flirty and have fun. I'm sure he is on your mind, but it gets easier. You'll go out and not think about him for an hour and then before you know it you won't think of him for a whole day. Everyday will get better.

Do guys talk differently to pretty girls?
If you are looking at a boy you find unattractive, would you be as friendly and open? Of course not. If you are, they might think you are interested in them. Further, if you find someone or something repulsive, you will spend less of your time looking....its just natural. Also- Unattractive people are usually more forward bc they don't have big egos like attractive people. Attractive peoples egos are fragile, where that of an unattractive person is practically nonexistent. Pride/vanity/haughtiness is usually not an issue for an unattractive person. Their ego has been blown to bits or significantly deconstructed. Before I got pregnant, I was pretty and looked young for my age. I looked 26 at 31. I also was a perfect size 6. I had to constantly dodge advances. I gained 50 pounds and my looks are pretty much gone from lack of sleep and the stress of taking care of an infant COMBINED with a pile of obligations and life struggles. I hardly recognize myself anymore. It was hurtful to hear hushed conversations about how fat I was and to see the look in peoples eyes who had not seen me since I got pregnant....(Oh, you're fat now.) Men tend to avoid eye contact and speak only as much as they have to. I was talked down to and the courteseys I used to enjoy from others were replaced by coldness and subtle disrespect. Well, I lost half of the weight and I am treated much better now. I hope this answers your question.

Long before the internet existed, magazines like Playboy and Hustler sold a lot of magazines. There is a 90% chance It is no reflection on you or his feelings for you. Maybe he went home after having sex with you and looked at pictures of other women while he thought of you , not the other way around. Why does he do this? No explanation It just is. It is normal when someone points a finger at you to get defensive, especially if they are doing something in secret they think you might not like. You are upset because he is looking at pictures. Would he be upset if he knew you were snooping? By the way, I'm sure you know both men and women masturbate even if they arw having great sex lives with great people who they think are hot and have no relationship problems with. When you get together with girl friends, do you ever talk about how hot a movie star is or how hot one of your girlfriends' boyfriends is? I don't even think looking at porn is cheating, although addiction to it is a sickness that needs to be dealt with. Are you better off with him looking at movie stars than porn? Better off than him actually cheating on you? Women who don't have a great guy want one, and plenty of women get cheated on. You DO have a great guy. Enjoy him and count your blessings. Why do guys get SHY around beautiful girls?
i've never had trouble making friends. i love my friends, i cherish them, and do whatever i can do maintain friendships. (not in vanity at all), but many people tell me i'm quite striking/beautiful. i have a very exotic look and i'm a petite 18 year old girl. this is my question: i get really shy around guys. not guys who are my friends, but guys who i'm potentially interested in, or who are interested in me. my friends tell me that my looks intimidate guys very easily, but that bothers me so much. all i want in the world is to come off as more approachable. even though i have more of the megan fox/adriana lima exotic look, i don't have a personality which assumes anything about people. i would date the dorkiest guy if he was a sweetheart. what do i do? it's almost as if i'm insecure about my beauty, because i don't know what to do with it. i'm scared to open up to guys, because i feel like they don't want to know me. i read this online, and i think it's totally true: average looking girls have more relationships than beautiful/striking girls. why does everyone assume all beautiful girls are intimidating, hard to please, etc?
Why are most guys SO picky with girls?
They'll only like a girl if she's super confident, very outgoing, super pretty, and have a nice body. All guys are the same and it's driving me nuts. Why don't they like shy girls? Or average looking girls? They all expect too much...
