Why Do Other Countries Hate Us Americans

Why do so many other countries hate Americans?

Countries outside of the U.S. 'hate' us because like anything one is jealous of, one begins a strong dislike for. America has freedoms and opportunities many countries would not imagine. That causes jealousy. Jealousy turns to hatred. If America is such a terrible place and is hated so terribly, why have people died (and are still dying) trying to get here? Why have so many people, in the last 100 years for example, left their own country to enter the U.S. (legally)? My grandparents/parents/aunt/uncles came here from Finland. Did they hate the U.S. so much that they came here from their home land? I think not.
The bottom line is that they are JEALOUS of America and its citizens.

Why do other countries hate America?

Well, Why Do YOU Hate America?

(ENTER YOU ANSWER HERE)

That's probebly why.

Why do other countries hate america..?

I haven't really been outside the United States, but when I see other cultures they seem more hard working and family oriented. I think we took ideas from other countires and because we can afford to have a McDonalds on every corner we take advantage of it and it shows. The fact that we have so much freedom many people have devalued themselves and I think we tend to be lazy and take things for granted.

Why do so many countries hate America?

EDIT: This is an answer to the question:“Why do so many countries hate America?”This does not discuss to what degree the acts by the US are justified or how they compare to the acts of others. Some comments have said that this is just propaganda. However I think it is not helpful as this is not about truth or morals but how the US are seen around the world.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Lets start with some images:And then some facts:Viatnam: The US used chemical weapons causing genetic defects, and used Napalm burning civilians alive. All in a war that is at the other end of the world from the US.Cuba: The US supported dictator Batista who suppressed his own people. Then they tried an forceful invasion and the assassination of the Cuban leader.Iran (1): The US and the UK forced a revolution against the democratically elected Prime minister to install the Sha in order to have unlimited access to the Iranian oil.Iraq (1): The US supported the dictator Saddam Hussein who used chemical weapons against the Kurdish minority, while ruling in a ruthless fashion. The reason was that he was fighting Iran (2).Iraq(2) The US invaded Iraq to have access to the oil in the region.Israel: The US support Israel in any move against the surrounding countries, openly threatening the Islamic world.Afghanistan: After supporting the radical Islamic Taliban they now wage war against terrorists. However the policy is that any male person talking to a known terrorist is a terrorist. This was done to reduce collateral damage. The US bombed several weddings with civilian victims because one of the guests was reported to be a Taliban*South Chinese sea: As the name suggest this is close to China. However the US insist on having a strong military presence there.I could go on but basically the US have there nose anywhere in the world. They claim they need to defend America’s freedom by bombing any country in the world. And beside all of that the US are not hated by all countries. In deed most people don’t give a shit or like the US.But how did a republican candidate say: When you sent foreign aid to a kid he is very unlikely to grab a bomb and blow up Americans, but when you send drones and kill the whole family of that kid it is not surprising he hates the US.*Note that this was done without a Jury or a trial.

Why do people in other countries hate Americans so much?

Before commenting it’s important to express I can’t speak for anyone other than myself. As a Canadian my perspective is personal, but without question others likely feel the same way.“Hate” is a big word, one used all too often without regard for its implication or meaning. People who say they hate Americans also hate certain foods, music, movies, hairstyles, fashion, art and ringtones. My point being , “hate” is a generic term. No reasonable person hates Americans. That said, countless reasonable people are frustrated by U.S. gun violence and a culture oblivious to what I might call parroted constitutional denial of common sense reality. Countless more disparage over racial, gender and sexual orientation discrimination. Frequent rational debate of America’s international and domestic policy stems from a sense of collective helplessness. Still more struggle with Trump’s irrational, reckless, fear mongering propaganda agenda.None of the above translates to hate. Any American who thinks others hate their way of life, ought to remember those same people might express hate for cauliflower, opera, khaki pants or use of the word “amazing”. Hate is a useless, lazy, worn out word that astoundingly clings to popular relevance.

Do people from other countries really hate America? Why?

I am British and I hate America because you are hypocrites. You support oppressive regimes, invade other countries - you donate money to the IRA which is used to oppress, bully and murder innocent civillians and yet when someone murders YOUR civillians on 9/11 you don't like it and start blowing up half the world. Hypocrites! No wonder half the world hates you. There will be more 9/11s if you carry on the way you're going.

And you did NOT save Europe in WWII, many factors contributed to Germany's defeat - you didn't even join the war till 1941!

You are so arrogant, you think you are the best country in the world and everyone wants to live there. I would rather die than live in your country. You don't even have state sponsored health care for gods sake!

Your country was based on the murder and oppression of Native Americans and the misery of black slaves. You are ignorant and know nothing about the rest of the world and when you do get involved in other people's countries you mnake a mess of it and cause pain and suffering. You are totally ill-informed! I hate America and would be happy for it to be wiped off the map. It causes nothing but pain to people in other countries.

George Bush is a moron and shouldn't be allowed to take charge of a cage full of chimps let alone a country. I hate Tony Blair joining forces with him in Afghanistan and Iraq. We should have left you to rot on your own. Now we are geting bombed by Muslims because of supporting you, even though you have **** on our country and plenty of other countries for a long time.

Please Mr Blair pull our boys out of Iraq and leave the Americans to their fate. They started it let them finish it.

Why do Latin American countries hate the USA?

First of all, not all Latin Americans hate the US. In fact, their pop culture, videogames, music, etc is highly valued.Having said that, there is a lot of resentment in Latin America against the US, especially among older people. The reasons are numerous, but they boil down to:1-Lopsided economic policies. The US can and does bully LA countries (much weaker and thus with much less leverage for negotiation) into economic policies that benefit the US much more than the other country.2-The US has been the instigator of diverse political, military and intelligence operations that have caused thousands of deaths and a huge amount of suffering in LA. Coup d'etats, annexations, assassinations, you name it. The two most sanguinary political regimes in LA (Argentina and Chile) were imposed and backed by the US.3-American mega corporations use their money to influence the decisions of already easily corruptible LA public servants, creating a lot of pollution and ecological devastation. Most of these resentments are mostly held by older people who were young on the 50s-70s and witnessed or suffered some of the most disruptive policies. Most young people don't really know about many of these things and have a positive/neutral attitude against Americans, except for maybe the ones influenced by more hateful people. So in a nutshell, time and time again, be the war on drugs, or the war on communism, or manifest destiny, the US has found excuses to intervene in LA directly or indirectly causing chaos and death. Only the most naive person would believe those interventions were done looking for the best interests of LA, while it's obvious most of them were motivated by political or economical gain. The US is a great, wonderful country full of valuable, courageous people. But for good or for worse, that greatness has historically been built at the expense of the weak, for the benefit of a portion of the population. You can see some examples of interventions here, and there are many more:10 Ways The US Screwed Over Latin America - Listverse

Why do some countries hate America for our freedom and democracy? Do they not want to be free?

If anything, people admire America, not hate it, for its freedom and democracy. That people hate us for our freedom and democracy was a lie peddled by George W Bush to justify his two expensive and unjustifiable wars. The concepts of freedom and democracy, as expressed in the US, are essentially western ideas. These ideas have in recent decades been popularized in the rest of the world, but with mixed reactions and results. What do most people in most countries want? They want a relatively clean government that is not oppressive, they want jobs so that they can live a comfortable life, they want peace and social stability, clean water, electricity, basic education, etc. And if these basic needs are satisfied, then as per Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, they want some social mobility and higher standards of living, and non-interference with their unique belief systems and ways of living. (This is a very important point, and often the basis for clash of civilizations.) What people admire America for is not the nebulous concept of freedom or democracy, but its lack of autocratic, tyrannical dictators, peaceful transfer of power every eight (or four) years, clean water, education, prosperity, lack of internal strife …Freedom means different things to different people. American idea of freedom might be different from the French or German idea of freedom. Indian idea of freedom might be bursting crackers during festival of Diwali and throwing colored water on strangers during the festival of Holi - without being hassled by the police. Islamic people’s idea of freedom might be living under Sharia and worshipping five times a day and observing Ramadan. As for democracy, a large number of people in the world would be happy with any form of government as long as it is not brutal and oppressive and there are no knocks on the door at 2 am from the ruler’s goons; that’s much higher priority than a Jeffersonian democracy. However … what I have described is essentially a flashback into history. The election of George W Bush and then Donald Trump have shown the world that democracy can have its challenges. And increasing economic disparity, lack of job security and social safety net, extreme rates of incarceration, gun violence etc. have taken their toll on America’s image. I know many highly educated people who have turned down an opportunity to immigrate to the US; this was unthinkable 30 years ago.

Why does everyone hate American?

Because we are the best. They are jealous of our badassness.
