Why Do People Still Not Rate Keiran Gibbs

Why hasn't England been more successful in international football?

One could write a weighty tome on this issue, but here are a few reasons worth mentioning:Inability to be comfortable on the ball. Apart from Paul Scholes and a few other exceptions, very few English players of the last few decades have been comfortable on the ball, which has meant that superior sides such as Brazil and Portugal have found it easy to dominate them. That is why they haven't beaten a major nation in the knockout stages of a tournament since Euro 96 and even that was on penalties. Yes, there have been exceptional one-off results against Germany in 2001 and Holland at Euro 96, but England's failure to coach players to be comfortable on the ball from a young age has had a serious effect on the national team's success rate. Sadly, there are few signs that anything is being done to change this pattern, which makes success at a major tournament even less likely in the next twenty years. They are awful at penalties. World Cup 90, Euro 96, Euro 04 & World Cup 06 saw England lose on penalties on all four occasions. Whether it is the inability to cope under pressure, insufficient practice or simply bad luck, history suggests you will face at least one penalty shoot out en route to winning a tournament. It is worth nothing that Spain had a similar problem until they beat Italy at Euro 08, so this is a problem that could be resolved sooner rather than later.Unnecessary media pressure. The English football media is a feral beast that devours all before it. I sometimes think they prefer it when we do badly as it helps them sell more papers. Sure, other country's media organisations are hardly tame, but the English media have a habit of creating a tempest in a teacup on the cusp of every major tournament.

Which six would you rate the best among the 6 sixes hit by Yuvraj Singh in an over and why?

The fifth one. After hitting three consecutive sixes he wouldn't have thought about 6 sixes. The fourth one was a full toss and he didn't need to much. Now, he remembered what happened a month before, he was hit for 5 consecutive sixes by Dimitri Mascerenhas of the same England team in the last over of an ODI.He knew that it was his chance to give it back. He had to hit the fifth one at any cost. This was a good, full length and pacy ball and he put it away. The rest is history.

Can a team win the PL title if there isn't any player from the top 6 teams is included in the squad & what would be your starting XI?

A very tough question so I’ll start by putting forward my team & then I’ll write my view whether it can win PL title or not.My starting XI in 4–3–3:-GK= Jack Butland :-If it wasn’t for his long term injury this man would’ve been number 1 for England at the age of just 23. But now after he came back from the injury he is showing his class once again & probably will get his big money move in next season or season after that.LB= Ryan Bertrand :-The best LB in PL outside top 6 so he is pretty obvious choice for me. Very good in attack & quite decent in defense.CB= Virgil Van Dijk :-Well you can make a case for him to be in top 7 CB’s in PL so he is another obvious choice. Tall & quick center back with good passing skills.CB=Ben Mee :-This guy has improved his game a lot since last season so I would really love to have a player from Sean Dyche team in my defense.RB= Séamus Coleman:-Although he is injured right now but I do think he is best RB in England outside top 6. So he will take my RB place.CDM= Grzegorz Krychowiak :-This guy was amazing in Sevilla but his big money move to PSG didn’t panned out as it was assumed but now he plays in a physical team so you can expect good things from him this season for WBA.CM= Renato Sanches :-He was the best young player in Euro 16 & helped Portugal a lot in wining their first major trophy in their history but since then his career has gone down the hill but he has time on his side & he can turn around things.CM= Mikel Merino :-In his short time in England he has impressed a lot of peoples.RW= Riyad Mahrez :-Probably the best player outside of top 6 had very average 16/17 season but now performing at a good level again.ST= Tammy Abraham:-He looks so good at the age of just 20 so he can score a lot of good goals for this team.LW= Wilfried Zaha :-A pacy winger with good dribbling skills who can also create chances that all what you need from a your creative winger .My substitues:-Łukasz FabiańskiJames TarkowskiCédric SoaresMario LeminaRoss BarkleyNathan RedmondKelechi IhenachoSo as for the answer of your second question I think this team is good enough to fight for top six or top four but it cannot win the PL title.

Whom should Arsenal sign for 2016 Summer Transfer?

Well I think Arsenal is a good team is just 2-3 signings away from becoming the strongest team in EPL. I think they need following signings :STRIKER : Arsenal is good at creating chances for goal but is very poor in converting them to goals. In fact this season Arsenal stands : Shots at goal - 1st but conversion rate 6th (15%)So first of all they need a better striker than Giroud. Arsenal need a striker which can come in and they could give their no. 9 shirt to that player instantly. Aubameyang was tried in winter according to rumors but it didn't work also he has shown interests in going to Spain. Few options can be :Morata, Icardi, Higuain, Ibramovich (Morata's signing is rumored most in news) Defender(CB) : Arsenal have defended poorly this season especially in crucial moments. Per Mertesacker was captain of the team and now due to bad performances in some matches he can't find place in top 11. As per stats:- The Gunners have conceded 12 goals in the 15 minutes leading up to half time this season - more than any other team in the Premier League.- Only Liverpool (17) and Palace (15) have dropped more points from winning positions than Arsenal (14) this season.Source : Arsenal's 3-3 draw with West Ham summed up their seasonSo they score a goal, get to winning position but then concede goal either at the brink of half time or maybe in later stage. They need a CB to replace Mertesacker and few options can be : Mats Hummels, Benedikt Howedes, Daniele Rugani, Virgil Van DijkDefensive Midfielder(CDM) : As Arteta & Flamini are going out of the team Arsenal need one more CDM with Coquelin & El Neny. If they take a player who is capable to play as CB as well then it would give more advantage. We are hearing rumors about signing of Granit Xhaka though, let's hope they come true. So few options here are : Granit Xhaka, Grzegorz Krychowiak, Victor Wanyama, Lars BenderArsenal need to strengthen both attack and defense hence they need these players desperately as competition is going to be tougher next season with Pep & Conte coming in. Few people might say that Arsenal also needs a winger but then Joel Campbell, Alex Iwobi, Jeff Reine Adelaide are good options also if needed Danny Welbeck can play on wing as well.

What would be your Premier League 11 team, if you could only choose one player from one team?

Ok here goesMy formation would be the much maligned 3–4–1–2 maligned because it seems that almost everyone knows how to play agains it stillMy keeper would beDavid de gea(No points for guessing this one pretty obvious)DefenceRCB; Van djikCB; AlderweireldLCB; James TarkowskiLWB; Marcos Alonso (made for that position)1st CM; Abdoulaye Doucore (he has been a beast all around attack and defence)2nd CM; Wilfred NdidiRWB; Seamus Coleman( Very few better fallbacks in the league than coleman and if they are they probably wont fit in my team due to obvious reasons)CAM; Ozil (Is there anyone better)ST1;Zaha( has been playing very well as a forward and i seem to have exhausted my options)ST2;AgueroAnother way to play them better would be 3–4–2–1 with zaha and ozil taking left and right side respectively with aguero upfront….I do not think it will be easy to walk thorough this midfield but will have to hope my midfielders learn to pass though 88% and 76% pass accuracy is nowhere near good enough

Which players can Arsenal realistically sign for their 2017/18 season?

Unless there is a coach change along with a change of policy in Arsenal, which would mean they splash the cash to attract high quality players, there have no chance in getting any big name signings. In fact they’ll probably struggle to keep some of their own players, who would want to leave, thus other great players won’t be joining a weakened team that wouldn’t be able to be a title challenger. There are a lot of players though who would move to Arsenal as this would be a step up in their career, even though they might miss on Champions League football.Alexandre Lacazette, Mauro Icardi, Andrea Belotti, Federico Chiesa and Domenico Berardi won’t be playing in the Champions League next year, so you’ve got some decent candidates here. Oh yeah, they won’t be cheap.Radja Nainggolan (or Kevin Strootman) can be tempted, even though he will miss Champions League football. The same can be said for Wylan Cyprien.Mahrez is proven in the Premier League and rumor has it he wants to move to another club, even if he didn’t have a very good season he’s an excellent player. Pretty much every player from Southampton is available at the right price (I’d go for Cedric Soares)Aymeric Laporte, Yeray Alvarez, Alessio Romagnoli, Andrea Conti, Ricardo Pereira can join the club, but they won’t be cheap. There are a lot of players like Roque Mesa, Frederik Sorensen or Christopher Jullien that could join the club and come cheap. In the end of the day there are a lot of players who would join Arsenal even if they don’t splash the cash, like they usually do.
