Why Do People Still Think Obama Is Qualified To Be President

Was Obama the most unqualified president?

President of the US is kind of a weird job. Most other jobs you can work your way up or move sideways. If you want to be a police chief you can be an asst chief first, or a chief someplace else first. With POTUS, there is no real preparation for leader of the free world.Sometimes you will see military leaders as the former job of a president. Zach Taylor, Andrew Jackson, Eisenhower, and Ulysses Grant were all generals who had no prior political experience before the presidency. If you believe the rumors, Zach Taylor claims to have never even voted until he was on the ballot. It is hard to say exactly at what point military experience is ‘enough’ to prepare for the presidency, but no one has been elected president with no political experience unless they were a general. Obviously, Obama wasn’t a general so this comparison isn’t legitimate. Most other presidents had prior experience as a politician. Since the country hadn’t existed for very long, we can exclude the experience of the founders. You can’t be a senator for long for example if the senate is only 5 years old. After the founders, most presidents were former cabinet members, governors, or the occasional VP. Funny enough, one of the least experienced presidents also hailed from Illinois. Lincoln served the same amount of time in the Illinois legislature as Obama (3 terms), and two years in congress. Lincoln was a representative while Obama was a senator. Interesting fact, Lincoln is the only man elected president whose highest political office was the house of representatives. I would say Obama’s qualifications would be slightly higher since the senate is the higher house of congress. However, the rules have since changed. The body of the constitution lists only 3 requirements for being president, and the 22nd amendment (kinda) created a 4th. Going only by the constitution, I could become president one day. The reason that I won’t is that I don’t have the experience needed for the job. However, there has been one president who has never been a general, or held any elected office prior to the president. That president has the fewest qualifications for this particular job because he has never led men into battle or worked to pass legislation. He has less political experience then either Lincoln or Obama. He has less military experience than Jimmy Carter or either Bush. I’d tell you that president’s name, but I’m pretty sure you know who it is.

What qualifies Barack Obama to become the President of United States of America?

Hmmm I have so looked high and low even in a deep and very dark black hole and still I to wonder and ponder that same question for a answer and has of yet to come up with one... Your right he has none
not even one!

Do you think Michelle Obama would be a good president of the United States?

Whenever I think of Michelle Obama, I think of her with the angry face, holding up and pointing at a sign with the hashtag #bringbackourgirls. This was her response to the kidnapping of 276 Nigerian girls by the Muslim extremists of Boko Haram.Of course, the United States never did anything effective to recover these poor girls, and our overall response to Islamist terror on Obama’s watch was not particularly effective. (Remember President Obama calling ISIS “the jayvee?”) Posturing and virtue-signalling have zero effectiveness when your adversaries are violent jihadis. So I think a Michelle Obama presidency would be even more talk, though less eloquent, and even less action than we saw during her husband’s term as Chief Executive.I also suspect that Michelle, once her every word and action was put under a microscope, would prove much less even-tempered than her husband. Whatever else you say about him, Obama was Mr. Cool.

Why do some people think Obama wasn't born in the US?

It’s because if that were true, the whole chapter of American history (in which he won election to the white house twice, for eight years) would all be a bad dream, a null and void thing- and it would, if true, excuse a lot of behavior to and judgment of President Obama that could only otherwise be characterized as racist. Above nearly all else, this is about excusing that behavior, without blunting or denying its effect or intention. To be eligible to serve as president, a candidate must be born in the USA, and be 35 years old, and win election. He did all of these things. The fact that he won election (and his election was certified twice) is something a large cohort of white Americans devoutly wish had never happened. This cohort experienced the election of a black man as no small injury; it signaled the death knell of White America they’d so long been predicting as demographics tilt America ever slightly browner and Democratic. The First Stage of Grief, of course, is denial. No! It can’t be! And they haven’t stopped. Indeed, the singular policy direction of the current administration has been to expunge every piece of Obama’s legacy that it can.Denial isn’t a river in Egypt, it is a potent cognitive phenomenon- and they really wanted the whole Obama thing to be just a bad dream. So, believing that it was fake, a fraud, and stuff like that was a source of hope and comfort for them- and they were willing to deceive themselves on any pretense in order to have it. And they’re quite aware that if they can manage to convince enough people that this was the story, they can win- and the winners write the history books. It’s a hopeful incantation being cast across the population, who know full well that if they repeat it full-throatedly in enough numbers, a sizeable portion of the population is willing to second-guess themselves enough to believe it to be true.[1]It’s also something that they maintain with prodigious levels of cognitive dissonance.[2]Footnotes[1] Asch conformity experiments - Wikipedia[2] TEDxCanberra - Ash Donaldson - Cognitive dissonance

Has Obama ruined the chances of future qualified black presidential candidates?

No, I don't think so.

I believe that everyone knows that Obama's Failure is due to His Communist Agenda --- not His being black.

He's not even a real black. His ancestors were Arab Slave Traders.

Is Sarah Palin qualified to be President of the United States?

History shows that 1 of 3 vicepresidents assume the presidency. Since McCain would be the oldest president elected into office ever if he wins there's a big chance that Sarah palin could become president.

Is she qualified enough? Give me also a reason why you believe she is qualified or why she is unqualified.

And don't bring Obama into this, this question is only about Sarah Palin

Is President Obama the least respected president ever?

I feel like there is very little respect for Obama. Now and through his whole presidency. He is clearly not the worst president of all time that dubious distinction goes to his predecessor but he sure as hell is treated as such. I don't think he is great by any means but it is sad to see the lack of respect people have for him. Honestly I think it is 100% because he is black. I think that after years of slavery, prejudices, racism and bias it is only natural for many people to maybe inherently view him as less of a man or a person or leader. I mean just look how aggressive people are being with him. Romney literally approaches him as an equal there is 0 sign of respect. Remember the senator who was up in the presidents face. Absolutely no respect. America clearly and truly was not ready for a minority president.
