Why do people like watching big boss?
Why people see Big Boss despite knowing it is all fake??I think it is the sadistic pleasure which we as people get when we see others fight.It is very much like a fight/accidents on streets and we are onlookers who are interested to see what is happening rather than stopping it.Big boss is like a full fledged restaurant serving to people needs. For example, a restaurant serves idli for two reasons. First, the restaurant make good idli and second there is a demand for idli. You take out one of the reason and the restaurant will be closed.Bigg boss creates these recipes/scenarios on the go with well paid actors/wannabe actors to satisfy people needs to see cat fights, bitching behind the back, scandals, abuses. Probably next stage is occasional fist fights and later may be blood spill. BB will do anything to satisfy their customers needs i.e. our needs, our sadistic pleasure.There is hardly any difference between Big Boss and WWE. Both are highly scripted. They are scripted w.r.t to the dialogues, the abuses, the punches, the drama. However, the results are left unscripted which gives the show the desired feeling of being real.The scripts are modified on the go based on the outcome of each stage. The shows are spiced up and down based on the TRP needs.The contestants are well paid actors or wannabe actors. They get paid based on their popularity. Some even get 1L-1.5L per day. Thus more they stay more they get paid. Thus the whole circus.
Why do I feel people watching me all the time?
Short answer : because we observe unconsciously !And when “unconsciously” is present, there is always “feelings” associated with.Our vision is wider than we think on an unconscious level, and on conscious level we are more focus on details. We do not see it consciously, but have “feelings” someone watching us, because our inner being is aware of that, as it is primal for our physical security and existence !The same may be applied to the the hearing sense - we unconsciously observe some meta-data so to speak, meaning, on the unconscious level we are not exactly listening words, but as radar do, we “measure” where the sounds come from as well as the other spatial data, hence the strange “feeling” of the person behind us, as our inner being is our “radar”.
Why do some people not think that "people watching" is creepy?
Because it is only creepy if you act creepy while doing it.People watching is not looking into someones private space or invading their privacy. People watching is camping out at some public place where people pass by and watching them. You get to see many types of people interact and carry on.Now if you are girl / guy watching that might be creepy especially if you are drooling. But these are not the same activities as people watching, a very different agenda and attitude.
Why do some people enjoy ‘people watching’?
I started enjoying people watching in 1995. My college girlfriend, fiancee, and soon to be wife. We both became avid “people watchers". We had similar personal reasons for our enthusiasm towards the sport of watching the social interactions of people, even domestic pets as well.For us, our people watching was actually qualitative learning. We really had no idea how or why “normal" people interacted with each other, handled situations, interactions, disagreements, or even family get togethers correctly, incorrectly, or tactfully. Or why we couldn't navigate those situations successfully.We really were perfectly clueless together. She studied Psychology and then Social Work, and I read all her text books.We would watch children playing in the park, and later discuss how interesting it was to see children playing and laughing while their parents sat and watched over them.At the time, for us, people watching was like “Jack Skeleton discovering Christmas and Santa Claw-s.”I don't watch people anymore. I still enjoy reading papers that surprise me with results that are not intuitive. But, I do not sit in the corner of a cafe diagnosing everyone according to the DSM IV (1). Instead, I enjoy participating with people. We are all strange, which is beautiful.Now I let other people watch me living, so they can diagnose how neurotic I am.(1) I have always felt the DSM V was a catastrophe, and I haven't wasted any time thinking about the DSM for over a decade. Actaully, during the past decade I have come to believe that since it's original publication in 1952, it has caused more harm than any single War in the history of the World.
Why do people like to watch me so much?
i take public transportation alot and the people on the bus like to watch everything i do. there is NEVER a time where im not being looked at by like 6-15 people. i feel like they are looking at me cuz im doing something wrong. even though there are like 50 other people on the bus to look at. as if there is nothing more important right now in the world than looking at me. how is me sitting down or getting on the bus like everyone else more exciting than anyone else doing it???
Why do more people watch Fox News?
Um, if you are referring to more people viewing Fox News than the total watching any of their so-called “competing” propaganda cable news channels…Because the competition is largely split, between CNN and MSNBC. Total both of those, and see what happens;Because Fox has out-maneuvered their competition, when it comes to clever use of propaganda; (“You should be outraged!” indeed…)Because most viewers of any of the Cable TV propaganda have failed to recognize and cannot even identify propaganda, and how the use of manipulation is not journalism, and not even close to journalism. Thus, the “race for ratings” it is is merely a competition to see who can garner the most popularity. (Keep in mind, Hitler was very popular; so is McDonalds; so, at the moment, are beards, and tattoos, and eating Tide Pods. That has nothing whatsoever to do with the merits of anything.)
I like people watching. Am I creepy?
You would probably be considered creepy if you are too obvious.There is nothing wrong with watching people, it’s a great teacher. When you look at man or a woman, you should strive to read their psychological traits by reading physical.Knowing how to read persons, can help you build your critical/analytical skills.In some fields it’s of great importance, medicine and such.Little advice: Try to be more discrete, and train yourself to do it quickly.
How much of a “people watcher” are you? In what places do you find yourself “people watching”?
I’m almost embarrassed. I have to wear heavily tinted sunglasses to prevent others to know I’m not just watching but scrutinizing them. I look for clues as to what their professions might be, married? Single? At doctors offices, you cannot ask but, as a former surgeon, based on where we are, I try and think what their complaint or illness might be. In stores, while I’m waiting for something, I’ll see someone holding something up and it’s all I can do to not rush over and say,”Oh, for the love of God, not that…”. I have to fly quite a lot and one of my frustrations is that…all the seats face forward so I can’t see people, just the back of them which, of course, tells me who has a developing bald spot or which lady badly needs a root job. I look at people shoes again to see if what they’re wearing is a clue as to occupation. (I wear cowboy boots most of the time save when I’m wearing a suit and then I’ve got nice Ferragamo's, Has someone I know well gained weight? Lost weight? Pregnant?Oh, and at stop lights, looking around me to wonder where people are going, at the gas station, when they pull out, did they just come for a fill up or did they do this as they’re going out of town. And it gets worse. I tell people what I saw. Okay, I live on a ranch in the middle of Kansas so my chances for observation are somewhat limited; I know what most of the cowhands do-they work for me. And, face it, fond as I am of my horse, he’s not very interesting….The up side is I’m never bored, never, there’s always something or someone to look at and I do. A buddy of mine, who happens to also be my Neurosurgeon, takes pleasure in asking me what I saw in his waiting room and, of course, I tell him…some unkind person said for a CEO, I was more like Chatty Cathy with a fifty mile string. I love conversation, well, good conversation which may explain why I spoke to a friend of mine for an hour and twenty minutes, typical for us but….she’s in New Zealand. Also, she’s a people watcher as well, her thing is…tourists, apart from Orientals, where did they come from.I know I should be more reserved, I’m in my late 70’s but it’s such a part of me…maybe blinders…we have some in the barn….
Why do people think porn is ok or normal?
and think im a prude for being against it? no I am not a prude and I am not against sex. I am just against random people that dont know each other having sexx like crazed animals. its sick. it makes women out to be worth nothing more than their breasts and privates. women are not just sexx toys. we are not just here so guys can have some where to stick their penis's. I find porn a promotion of stds, unhealthy immoral sexxual behavior, lack of inhibitions, and lack of brains. watching these women act like they are animals in heat is not fun to me. watching these men ramming their penis's in these girls mouths and any other hole the women has is just wrong and gross to me. not too mention most of these women are loose down there and its just disgusting to me. I am 18 years old and have more morals than most older people these days. I feel this world is helpless. and to find out my own boyfriend watches porn just shattered my world. I feel like no one cares about the fact that sexx is for people who love each other and its to make babies. not to degrade and demoralize people.
Do people watch the IPL outside India? What do they think of the IPL?
I was in Ireland a few months ago. I was in the country side, in a place called, Ballyheigue. A beautiful village.I was in conversation with few Irish men sipping on Guinness . This is how the conversation went.They : You don't look like Irish. Where are you from?Me : I am from India.They : Oh that's great! Which part.Me : From a city called Bangalore, in the southern part of IndiaThey : Oh wow! so you are actually from Ban-GAYLE-uru! ( They actually pronounced in the exact same way! )Me ( Shocked just like you are! ) : Oh.. so you watch IPL ?They : We love IPL. My mate here loves the super kings only because of MS Dhoni.Me ( Still shocked ) : So do you watch all the matches ?They : Hell yeah!
