Why do white people generally dislike talking about slavery?
There was a great article on Understand the News about a (white) person (woman) who worked at an (tourist attraction!?) old slave plantation and had to deal with all these questions from so many white folks who seemed to want to find any good, decent or not too terrible answer about slavery and the slaves who lived there. They stretched for anything somewhat positive or even neutral or usually try to settle for some trade-off (of good for bad) before they left. In my research I found South Carolina to be reprehensible as an incubator for the slave trade (ex: the recent Charleston shootings) and some of its politicians to this day seem to pine for the good old days and the need of a permanent working class to just go about and do their jobs with no talk back. That attitude exists in many places, not just SC, and many times these folks can be so polite about it all. Many American Indians were sent to the Caribbean as slaves from 1600-1750.
Why do black women have so much attitude?
I dont know, but its true. They do have an attitude problem like they are the best. They get mad if things don't get their way and they ALWAYS speak their mind, even if the timing is wrong. Thats why most people are afraid of blacks. I remember when I was at walmart, my mom wanted to put things on the checker thing, and this black woman thought she was cutting her. She seriously started yelling, calling her a racist, and kept mumbling afterwards. Pointing the finger, hand on hip, She was talking soo fast. SCARY.
Why do people think all African Americans have a large percentage of white ancestry?
Yes, not every African American was sexually abused but the ones that were eventually had children and their white ancestry was passed down and eventually diffused into the mainstream African American. True, not every African American has Caucasian ancestry but a lot do and there were a lot of female slaves taken advantaged of because "house slaves" were more valued than other slaves and most wealthy families wanted a "house slaves" and they wanted that slave to be light skinned for whatever reason. The vast majority of all slave sales were for house slaves because not every person needed field slaves only a few select wealthy landowners. So, the need for light skinned people increased so this resulted in more racial mixing. Also, slaves just didn't have 1 or 2 kids, if you watch the movie roots, some slaves were considered "breeders" and they would have sometimes more than 10 kids throughout their lifetimes and these kids would usually be mixed.
