Why Do Some Blacks Think It

Why do black people always think "it's because I'm black"?

cause 99 percent of the time it is and their are more racist whites like yourself and the user above me, that out weigh the non racist ones.

I'm sorry but your story makes you seem very childish and pointing the figure at everyone else but yourself

Look at the history between white and blacks and then aks yourself why?

how do i know this and i am Asian?

u are so stupid ignorant and racist!!

If you don't understand why you are ignorant and racist then you have more problems then you realize!

your Ignorant because you just grouped a whole race of people for the faults of a few blacks you encounter while working at a record store. There are millions of blacks all over the world and because of a few blacks you encountered you are making them all sound at fault and held accountable for the actions of the blacks at your store. What you should do is tell off the blacks you encounter at your store instead of lumping them all together.

Secondly, Ive experienced this same treatment by whites and i have always knew it was race based. They don't like Asians and never have and 99 percent of the time when i get treated like crap i know they are racist. Dont tell me otherwise. You people will come up with any excuse in the book to make yourself sound not at fault.

Edit: your still not innocent.. always two sides to a story.

Why do some white people think that black people are inferior?

The original question is:Why do some white people think that black people are inferior?Answer:Privileged people tend to think that less-privileged people ought not to exist, but if they do, they should exist only to serve the greater-privileged people. They believe they have been born to be the rulers, and the others are there only to be their servants. These people do not have love or respect for other human beings; they consider them to be just objects to be used and exploited. This is amplified when skin color involved. There is no earthly basis for people of one skin color to feel superior to people with a different one. But that feeling of privilege, of “I got here first, therefore I own it,” of "I've got mine, and rightly so, and I should own most of yours too," taken to be a right instead of just an accident of history, infects their minds. The northern European countries developed superior weapons of warfare that enabled them to overpower the peoples of less-developed countries and to subjugate them relatively easily, allowing them to feel entitled by their "God" and their "holy book," the Bible or the Qur'an, to put others at their feet and to serve them. But if those weapons and that bible had been developed sooner by the southern African or Asian countries, then the situation might have been reversed.

Why do some black people seem to think that if we follow all of white society's rules (speak standard English, abandon Afro-American culture and become perfect citizens who do no wrong) that they'll finally accept us?

Why is speaking standard English, adopting mainstream American culture and being a perfect citizen a "white society rule"?The premise of your question is completely wrong.  Although the framers of the Constitution had landed, educated white men in mind when they founded the country, they created a self-correcting structure.  The ideals of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are not exclusive to white people.Of course, living in a pluralistic society means that you can live according to whatever rules you choose.  There will be consequences if those rules violate mainstream rules (e.g., polygamy, animal sacrifice, female genital mutilation etc....).Whether "they" accept "us" is less important than whether "we" accept "ourselves" in all the shades, ideologies, religions that we come in.  If I'm the descendent of land owning free blacks am I any less Afro-American than someone descended from slaves?  If I speak standard English, am I any less Afro-American than someone who speaks gulla or AAV?  If I have a college degree (like my father and his father before him) am I less black than someone whose graduation from HIGH SCHOOL is a first in the family? We, that is the collective black we, need to stop worrying about "white people".  If you're an engineer, solving an engineering problem, the math and physics doesn't care if you're white or black.  If you're writing code or programming, the code doesn't care if you're white or black.  If you're a plumber, airplane pilot, oil driller, archeologist, brain surgeon, architect, none of the media you work in care if you're white or black. The only time this becomes material is when you're dealing with people as a lawyer, police officer, family doctor, teacher etc...and you're constantly held up to the mirror of others.  The more you focus on the hard sciences and the like, the more you realize that the issues you are focused on are irrelevant. The more of "us" in the hard sciences setting an example for broader society, the less of a focus there will be on "us".

Why do some people (especially white) seem to think that blacks dwell on the issue of slavery?

I can't remember the last time I discussed slavery outside of school. Further, all of the black people in my personal network (former college classmates, neighbors, friends, family, co-workers, etc.) aren't asking for hand-outs from the government. We work hard for our paychecks and expect respect from all people we encounter. Most of us don't want reparations, don't consider Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson our leaders, and aren't racist. Why do some people have a problem with seeing us as individuals? I don't care who answers this question, and rude comments will be promptly reported. I am not making any sweeping generalizations about any group, but I am merely making a statement based on observations and the multitude of questions on here aimed at black folk.

Why do some Blacks think Black Friday is named after slavery sales when it is clearly not?

The question is, why do some Blacks thinks Black Friday is named after slavery sales when it is clearly not? That is a lie. The question may be a troll question because it presents no evidence and names no black person ever saying that they or anyone ever thought that Black Friday is named after slavery sales. Black people do not think that is what Black Friday means or represents.

Why do some black Americans think the USA is indebted to them when they haven’t seen institutional racism in their lifetime?

Because they can get away with it.The left has told them that if they are black, they are operessed. They aren't oppressed. Institutional racism is relic of the past. They are trying to gain by crying oppression just because they are black. White people are indebted to them, all of them are evil. That's racist! You know what? That thing I said about institutional racism being non-existent? I lied. There is institutional racism around. But not against blacks. Against whites and Asians. Affirmative action is clearly racist and in violation of federal law. And it comes back to bite black people.I'm not saying that Democrats are racist, but their Party is. White people are evil, blacks are oppressed. It's just not true. It's the party of the KKK, and this is just another racist policy. Not all blacks think this way. And good for the ones that don't, you will be much better off if you don't buy into the identity politics.

Why do some people think that all Brazilians are black of african descent?

Because most of the image of brazil in the world come from rio de janeiro where is located the 2nd largest afro brazilian population after bahia -.- basically only rio exists in the media -.-

My cousin from rio de janeiro got impressed when he traveled to my city because he said he did not see any black person here, very different from rio-.-

Do you think it is true that black people dance better than white people?

It is something that is said often. When I would go to a club, yeah, several black people would dance really well. There were also some that never got on the dance floor at all. I use to need courage in a shot to get on the floor myself. But the clubs around here also had more black or mexicans in them, unless you wanted to go to a country bar. So I haven't seen that many white people really dance. I'm a tall white girl with a big a** and it was mostly black guys that would even have the courage to come out and ask me to dance. And it's funny, I ended up marrying a tall, big white guy and he dances like a sterotypical white guy. I tease him about it. I often wonder if he can learn rhythem.
