Teenagers Riding the Rails in the 1930s. Help?
I'm writing a short documentry script on Teenagers in the 1930s, and I need help. I need two pages and I only have 1 1/4 done. I've covered the beginning of the depression, hobo signs, schools shuttin down, poor health, teenagers riding the rails, dying on the rails, using jails as shelter, and writing letters to the first lady. I don't know what else to cover, so if you have any ideas, helpful websites, or anything I'd appreciate the help. Thank you :)
Why don't South Korean Movies win Oscar awards?
For starters the submissions by South Korea have been very low, just 27, if you go by this list hereList of countries by number of Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language FilmAnd out of those 27 movies none have been even nominated to date. This when movies from countries like Cambodia, Mauritania, Nicaragua have been nominated. And that’s where it is losing out in the first place.I am one big fan of South Korean cinema, they make some really great movies across all genres. Tae Guk Gi was as good as any Hollywood WWII epic, Shirin was a superb thriller, and Kim Ki Duk is one of the finest movie makers in the European art house tradition. But where South Korea falls short is in their marketing and lobbying. Oscars generally involved a whole lot of promotion, lobbying and marketing. And South Korea for all the great movies they make, have not really promoted themselves very well in US, unlike China, Japan, Taiwan. Compare the records hereJapan has submitted 62 movies to date, with 15 nominations and 4 wins, the 3rd highest after France and Italy. Taiwan has 41 submissions to it’s credit, with 3 nominations and 1 win. China has had 29 submissions, 2 nominations. Basically you need to hardsell your movie very well, create a ready made market for it and of course a large fan club to promote it.Japan thanks to Akira Kurosawa, and a very long cinematic culture, has managed to create it’s own space in US and the Oscar lobby. China has promoted it’s wuxia genre well, while Hong Kong, Taiwan have managed to create their own space in Hollywood thanks to directors like Ang Lee and John Woo.South Korea on the other hand, has not exactly been able to establish itself in that manner. One factor also I guess, is that it’s cinema does not have a defining genre like Japan’s Samurai movies or Hong Kong’s martial arts classics. The good thing though is that in the past decade or so, South Korean cinema has become popular in US, thanks to movies like Old Boy, My Sassy Girl. And there has been a growing interest in their cinema too. Hopefully with some better marketing and promotion, one could see a South Korean movie maker pick up that coveted Oscar soon.

Another big lie by the terrorist group and their supporters who could not make their presence felt against Turkish army. They are trying to blacken Turkish army as they cannot face it in the field. Turkish army did its best not to give harm to any civilians and no civilians were injured during the operation. The terrorists and their supporters accuses Türkiye with what they actually do and have done so far. The civillians in Afrin have been freed from the yoke of the PKK. Even though there are not any evidences about looting in Afrin, Turkish government has launched an investigation and declared that anyone who has dared to loot will be punished.

Hello, I may need alittle help on a research project on Japanese Internment Camps. I just need some good research sites where I can find some good info on this topic that is easy to read. I would really appreciate your help. Because I really don't know why the hell my ENGLISH II teacher has to give us a project like this that involves difficult research... How do I start a film club at my high school? What do I do during this club?
