Why Do We Even Exist And What Is The Purpose Of Life

Do you remember when you were six years old and enjoyed the moment without wondering about your purpose in life?Do you remember when you were twelve years old and started wondering about the meaning of life? Scary stuff, wasn’t it?Of course, you believe in after-life! You know that nobody can see your thoughts or your dreams. You consist then of a physical part and a spiritual one and the latter will certainly survive your physical death! How reassuring!Alas, some drugs or the knife of a surgeon can change your thoughts that appear to be very physical, after all. But when meeting a cognitive dissonance you may prefer using the confirmation bias of seeking only answers that confirms what you want to believe. Please, do that. Find the purpose of life in a religion of philosophy. Nobody knows more than you do. Perhaps there are as many truths on earth as there are people. Don’t let anyone tell you how you should run your life according to their meanings, beliefs, fears, etc.… it’s all in our head, you know! ;-)

What is our purpose,Why do we exist?

As some scientists say: we and other living things exist, because planet earth was not too far from a huge burning star (the sun) nor too close. If we were too close it would be too hot for living things to thrive, and if too far the temperature would be too cold for even living things too start living. (So basically the sun heats up water and liqiufies it, when the sunrays reach liquified water again, algae forms and evolution begins!!!
Another belief made by people is because the creator of time and earth and the heavens (God) was there.

Okay, and now what is our purpose. Actually, everyliving thing's purpose is to make their species fruitful and huge in popullation and also to take up the most land they can, why? Because as evidence: living things try to survive, have the ability to reproduce, compete other species for basic needs, take up land when they live there, kills other species (Examples: weeds grow out to lots of different places and fight other plants for land and soil by using their roots, they killed grass after they won their land.) Get it?
and also some say that we spread what we belief because that is what our creator commanded us to do.
We are very lucky to be right at the right spot and to be living and thriving, earth is our only home, we should take good care of it.

Why do we even exist in this world? What is the purpose of living?

Each person has a different one. Usually what you are naturally good at is an indication.

Good luck

Why do we even exist? What's the point in life?

Salam bro :)

I'm not gonna give you a whole interpretation. I'll just try to make it short.

People who don't believe in God lives for fun, sex, immoralities, pointless things, but mostly sex. If they don't believe in an After Life, why do they fear death so much ? I mean, ok they had fun, now they die and that's all.

Basically, they just know somewhere in their heart that it's not just as easy. They know there is something after death, and they are afraid of judgement. Still, they live their lives to the fullest, because even if they think there is something after life, they want to have enjoyed life, they know it's all they'll have.

People who believe in one God -think about it. having several gods would be totally stupid. they would just be like in the greek mythologie, where the all fought- , who knows that this life is, as our Prophet Mohamed peace be upon him said, ''I am only in this world like a rider who seeks shade under a tree and then goes on.''

Life is not eternal. This is not even a real life. How could you leave happily with all those wars around you ? With all these injustices.

I was saying, people who believe in one God, well, idk ^.^
I'm french, Idk how to explain it.. :p
Well anyway you can do some researches...I can't convince you..But look at Michael Jackson, and Germaine..Look at Mohamed Ali.. Do some research on YT..

They are lots of people like that.
But most important, read the Quran.

May God Guide you ^^

What is life?why do we live?what is our purpose?who are we as individuals?

As a counselor and clinical therapist, over the years I have worked with several people who recalled being in the womb. To those who question when life starts for an individual, this would mean that life -- or simple awareness of individuality -- begins before birth.
For many people, there was also memory of existence prior to entering the body of the infant in the womb, of actually choosing to enter a specific earthly situation in order to experience some aspect of deep learning as a soul-being.
In other words, for these individuals, entering into the earth s physical realm is purposeful from the very start.
Their lessons, from a soul-level, are usually about such intangibles as compassion, patience, unconditional love and forgiveness... These lessons are about cleansing the soul s experience in order to move into more complete connection with the Universal Mind we call God, which is perfection.
My observations lead me to believe that every one of us, on a very deep level, is an everlasting spark of awareness in this universal creation; that each of us is on a journey of learning to align ourselves, through many lessons, to the highest perfection that we are able to achieve.
Through my many years of observation, I am certain that we choose our companions along the way, in order to experience opportunities of soul-growth.
To clarify: what happens to us in life is not nearly as important as what we do with these opportunities as we learn to forgive, learn to be compassionate, learn to love unconditionally, learn to live patience, just as our Elder Brother taught us.

Why do i feel that life has no purpose?

I understand life can seem arbitrary & meaningless (especially when bad things happen beyond our control) but life does have meaning. I won't go into my feelings on God & creation etc etc since you sound resistant to it but however you happen to believe we got here, it is a miracle. Our lives are extraordinary. We must make the most of it. Do things that you enjoy. Love yourself & others. Be happy. However long you are here. Whether you believe in an afterlife or not. You might as well have a good time while you're here. Follow your dreams, whatever they may be. & don't give up. I believe in an afterlife, but even if you don't, you will be remembered after you're gone. Those who know & love you will remember you & your life does matter.

If you feel life has no purpose then chances are you don't love yourself, you're not taking care of yourself, you're not doing things you enjoy. When you live with passion then you give life meaning. It's up to you. For me, it's art & music, for someone else it may be sports or cooking or fixing cars, but everyone has something that they enjoy & that they're good at. Whatever it is, do it! If you're enjoying yourself then that's meaning enough!

Chin up. Look at the bright side of life. I know it's hard. I have to follow this advice myself...

Unpacking the constituents of this question:Why do life or living things existBecause the structure of the universe doesn’t preclude life, and the universe is vast! That might not seem like much of an answer, but this question is one that forces an Anthropic Principle answer, because we have a sample of one planet we know of that contains life. That means life is not precluded from the universe. It’s like asking, why did my neighbour win the lottery and I didn’t? The answer is found in statistics. If there are enough tickets, some of them will have winning numbers. If the universe doesn’t preclude life as one of its structures, then life will appear somewhere given the vast size of the Universe. What is their purpose? That is for the living to decide for themselves. There is no user manual. Is this just a random effect of unknown cause that we can never understand? Not random in the sense that it appeared from nowhere, but containing stochastic processes, a child of Chaos, which is not random. Arising from a substrate from which it could arise.Causation is what it is whether it is known or not.Understanding is contingent on perception. I will never understand why some people pick their noses and eat the bogeys… like duh? Like… no nutrition, yucky taste (oh god please tell me it’s a yucky taste), disgusting viewing… maybe I lack the perception gene for that?

Why do we exist and what is the point of life?

I have had a near death experience, more than once in fact, and it didn't put me on any love mission.

It didn't give me any great sense of purpose either.

The only real difference was I no longer worried about what the point of life was.

If you let yourself worry about the meaning of life, you may end up wasting the whole thing.

Suppose you have a plate of your favorite food.

Why do you eat it? Is it to taste the food? To not starve? To not let it waste? What does it matter when in the end you'll have eaten it all and there'll be nothing left?

Worrying about the meaning of life is like worrying about the meaning of eating. Of course there's important things, but stressing about them gets in the way of the basics.

Good question. Some people are just content with not knowing, others are content with believing the theories of others, but few really stop to think about it. Try this: stand up and take a look around you, walk outside or look through your window, just watch everything and take it all in. Just take a second to realize how incredible this world is, how everything works together so amazingly. How each creature has a place and a role from a horse to a bird to an ant. There are so many different species of animals, yet they are all so complex that we don't even understand it all yet. Take a look at your own body, how every part is so awesomely designed and perfectly placed. Then stop, and ask yourself this question again, "Why do we humans exist?" Did all this just, "happen" or just come from some big bang? Do you really think that everything you've just seen and thought about is just some coincidence? Some do persist to argue that this is how we exist, but that is simply because they want to stay away from any further implications of an alternative explanation. However we were most definitely created by an awesome Creator. We were placed on this Earth to look after the rest of creation, the birds, the plants, the fish and all nature. That is why we have an ability to think beyond the abilities on any other animal. At the same time through all this we exist purely to give glory and praise to our Almighty Creator in whatever we do. That is why we exist. May God be glorified through all of us.
