Why Do We Get So Caught Up In Our Egos That We Tell Lies Without Realizing It

Is it really cheating if you don't get caught?

I am very careful about being discreet so I respect my wife's feelings. My girlfriend understands the situation and would never do anything to hurt her. I need to stay married so I don't have to go bankcruot with child support and alimony. We offer our kids a great life and home by staying married. I'm really a good man and my girlfriend knows this. That's why we are together too. So is it really cheating if everyone is happy and no one gets hurt?

Why do liberals lie so much?

I read the same lies on here everyday by the same liberals. I couldn’t possibly list them all but here are a few samples:

Lie: Reagan was not successful.
Truth: Reagan was unquestionably the most successful president in modern US history. When Reagan took office, the country was in a recession, inflation was in double digits, unemployment was at depression era levels and we were on the brink of a war with the Soviet Union with our military in complete shambles after the Vietnam war. When Reagan left , the USSR was falling apart, the US military was stronger than ever (see gulf war I) , inflation was at 4%, unemployment was half of what it is now and we were in the middle of the greatest period of economic growth in US history.

Lie: Paul Ryan hates old people
Truth: Ryan’s plan doesn’t affect anyone over the age of 55, but Obama’s plan CUTS 700 billion from medicare.

Lie: Palin is stupid because she said she could see Russia from her house.
Truth: Palin never said it. It was Tina Fey who said it.

What Palin actually said:

And btw, what Palin said was factually correct

Do liberals just lie so much because they know the people they’re trying to persuade (likely democrat voters) are too stupid to realize what they’re saying? Is it like Goebbels said “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.” Or is it just the fact that their ideology is based entirely on emotion. That is, they think liberalism is right because it makes them feel good so any means to bring about liberal policies is considered good regardless of what facts have to be twisted to support it.

Why do liberals lie so much?

Is Sting getting Caught up in his ego, when the crowd chanted, "You still got it"?

The fans would keep saying those chants.. They need to realize that, They'd never lost it anyway. They're not gone forever anyway. Sting doesn't have a ego because He always putting over the young talent to helped their main event status and legendary status.

Does the Truth really hurt?

The Truth can be very painful to our ego as we have been justifying lies through our False Personality. False Personality's sense of self importance grounded in arrogance goes through a painful reevaluation of what is true and what is not true.

yes. it hurts our hubris very much.

as far as the Spirit is concerned... the Holy Spirit rejoices in the truth... and finds it very pleasant.

If you pretend to be someone you're not for long enough, do you become that "other" person?

This is an offhand question I decided to ask, because I've just received my (replacement) copy of Kurosawa's "Kagemusha" in the mail and have often wondered at the way the impersonator picks up so well on how to "become" the Lord Takeda Shingen, while still not being him. The humans are fooled, but the animals are not--can one truly shed a persona and become another and find fulfillment and personal purpose this way? I would be interested to hear personal views or experiences of anyone who has tried so hard to be someone else that he or she has caught an "essence" of this "other" or found the other within oneself. Thanks for your responses!

Why does life becomes complicated as we grow up?

I think you can better understand this by seeing your parents and yourself. Now See yourselfWhen you were a child, you had no worries. Just drink milk, sleep and poop. When you get a little older, you take admission to the school and become the part of the system we live in.And then starts the burden era, The Burden of studies and expectations of our parents. You have to study, study and just study. And with every class you move on, your studies get tougher. And then comes the board exams which, according to our parents, is the most important exam of our life.So we prepare for it, day and night, dreaming about the freedom we will get after the exams. And then after that, The Climax… The results arrive and you pass the examBut wait, this isn't the end of journey, you realize that it's just the beginning. Now comes the most frustrating question in front of usWHAT DO YOU WANT TO BECOME?Most obvious answer would be “I don't know”. But don't worry, our parents have already decided what we have to become. So you just have to obey. And then again, graduation. More study. More distractions. More changes in our body. Finally comes the part, A Job, a settled situation. You do the work, you get the money and you earn respect from the society. And then again, the most important decision of you and your wife's life and both the families, MarriageAnd with marriage, starts the responsibility era.Now you have the responsibility of you, your wife, your kids, your parents, and many more things. Your kids goes through the same journey as you have gone through. So, think about each stages of your life. With every level you cross, the stress increases, the life gets complicated.Your part ends here. Now see your parentsYou can see the smile in their faces. They have successfully completed all the levels of this game we call as “The Life”. Now they are at the last level, waiting for the game over signal. They are happy seeing you and your family. They are proud of raising you as a better person. They are finally free from this system of society. They have no worries now.But again, they have aged. They have diseases. They need to take medicines regularly. It's frustrating. So now do you understand why life doesn't get easier when we get older? You must have played Mario. With each level you cross, it's get difficult. Same goes with life.So after reading all this, what are you thinking?I bet you are thinking about the real Achhe din… when we used to just drink milk and sleep.;-)
