Why Do We Like Some People So Much

Why do some people like In-N-Out so much?

I'm one of those people who really like it. I will say that the fries are a little soft, so the way to order them is well-done (yes, they even have a button on the register for that). I also don't think animal style is that great. I go for a double-double with grilled onions (avoiding the mustard cooked patties and the extra spread). And I would pick a vanilla milkshake over chocolate.

Now that I'm diabetic and can't have the fries and shakes, I really love the place even more because I can get my burger "protein style" which means wrapped in lettuce. It's one of the few places that really wraps the burger so well that you can pick it up and eat it. Most places just toss the burger on some wimpy lettuce and it becomes a fork and knife thing.

Everything is 100% fresh and made right there. That's why they aren't all over the country - there's no easy way to distribute the ingredients.

Just like EVERYTHING else in the world - some people like it, some people don't.

Why do people like dogs?

I hate dogs. Especially the one that lives with my wife and me.He forces me to throw his toys for him every morning. Sometimes he brings them back to throw again and other times he just walks off and does his own thing with them. Sheesh! He also makes me pick him up every morning and hold him in my arms so he can snuggle me as the sun comes up.I hate that! And every night, before he goes to bed, he lays on my chest and stares into my eyes until I give him a treat. Always trying to get his own way. He also comes to me whenever he is scared or sick or in pain so I can hold him until he feels safe. What a selfish jerk! And during the day he carefully hides his toys under the blanket on my side of the bed! So when I go to bed at night I have to move a large rawhide bone (that he's been chewing on for the last 5 years), a red rubber duck with devil horns, an old green tennis ball and a dead bird (we just call it 'dead bird' cause it looks like one). But the worst thing is whenever I'm not home or I have to work late he starts making the moves on my wife. He tries to be the man of the house when I'm not there.Look! Here he is taking my wife out to dinner while I'm stuck here at work! What a backstabbing asshole!Anyway, not sure why other people like dogs so much because I sure don't.UPDATE 1:Recently I spent about an hour looking in a pet store window pondering how much I dislike dogs, especially puppies, when this little white beanbag filled with poo started staring at me.Not sure why, I guess she must have cast some kind of spell on me, but I bought her and took her home. And now this new dog who we have named Bianca insists on watching movies with me but always falls asleep (except during the parts where there are other dogs on the screen) and then I have to explain the plot to her when she wakes up.Pretty annoying when people do this let alone dogs. She has also tricked our other dog into falling in love with her so now they gang up on me as a team. It might be kind of hard to tell but in the photo below Bianca is getting ready to attack me.But most of the time Bianca just looks like this. What a waste of space!UPDATE 2:Thanks for all the upvotes. Hopefully my hard-earned lessons in dealing with dogs will help others who are about to make the mistake of bringing one of these “companions” into their home.

Why do we love some people so much that we can't find a way to live without them when they are gone?

psychology of falling in love)You were walking down the street, nothingwas unusual and then suddenly she came outfrom a nearby shop and it happened that youfell in love with her at the first sight! Huhh!!What happened?!!The answer is simple, its all related to howyour mind works. If you are single or currentlynot in a relationship then your mind willalways be on a hunt for your long awaitedpartner. Even if you think that you don't careabout relationships now still you will fall inlove with the first person who matches yourcriteria. But why she/he? Why not someone else? Each one of us has got some kind of a checklist stored into his mind which includes thecriteria that a person must meet in order foryou to love him/her. If a person didn't matchsome of the items in this list then he becomesdisqualified to be a potential partner and youwill think of him as a friend. The items in yourcheck list are of course unique and specific toyou depending on your background, values, past experiences and beliefs. The following is an example of the first threelines of a check list of a guy called Sam. Samis a guy and his list starts with the followingthree conditions:Item one: She must have the sameeducational background as mine.Item two: Her hair must be yellow (Samalways failed to establish successfulrelationships with blonds in his past and sohis subconscious mind included this item inhis list in order to help him compensate forhis past failures)Item Three :She must be assertive. Sam wasn'tan assertive person and since we get attractedto those who have what we need thereforeSam's mind included this item in his criteriaBecause of emotions and memories you have relating someone, some incidents are reminder of good memories so each time they are recalled and those people make more place in your heart and you keep on missing and loving them.

Why do people down single people so much?

Usually the people who "down" single people are the ones who can't stand not to be in a relationship because they are very insecure and when they are single get very lonely and don't know how to be happy without another person. They don't understand that some people are content with being alone and can be happy by themselves because being in a relationship with somebody isn't the main focus of their life.

Also what you brought up cheating and just bad relationships in general. Those people could get into bad relationships and to make themselves feel better they will make fun of others who don't have a relationship so in their mind their situation doesn't seem so bad.

Why do people like alcohol so much?

Im 19 and dont have a whole lot of experience with it, but I have tried vodka, wine, and beer before and the stuff tastes downright awful. Is it just because people want to get drunk? Doesn't really seem worth it to me...though I have never been drunk before so I have no idea what its like.I struggle not to spit it out whenever I take a sip. Is it just an acquired taste? The only way I have been able to drink vodka is by mixing it with something else and even then its just terrible. It tastes like something you are NOT supposed to be drinking. like some kind of poison...

Why do people like villains so much?

The simple answer is that if written well and if complex enough, villains are cooler than good guys. I find myself generally rooting for villains in media more than good guys as long as the villain isn't some monster, like a rapist or someone that tortures others.  I think we like villains because in most cases we can see the moral ambiguity in them that we see in ourselves. Villains have no moral constraints generally.  They do what they want and don't pine over the consequences like heroes.  Just think of Superman...how quickly could he end a bad situation if he'd just say "fuck it" and use his powers fully against an enemy. That would add an extra dimension to him... The villain would still do bad things, but Superman wouldn't be predictable.  Darth Vader is orders of magnitude cooler than Luke in the OT. So is Han Solo, he's an anti-hero.  He'd be a bad guy in most movies, but in Star Wars he's a good guy without hang ups.  Heck even Obi Wan was an arm slicing s.o.b. One of my favorite cartoon characters is Vegeta in Dragon Ball Z. The character has been voted in at least one poll as the show favorite.  I think the reason is due to his moral ambiguity and cold nature. It is so much better than Character Goku's boy-scout outlook.  And perhaps the best villain ever...Alice Morgan on "Luther". Without too many spoilers: she's a very bad person, but is still redeemable despite never really changing.  Face it, we are all bad in some way, so we like realistic characters that are flawed.  That's why I think "Game of Thrones" is so fantastic.  Very few characters are truly good guys.

Why do some people love to sleep so much?

Reasons Why I love sleeping :Sleep is my favourite way of dealing with any emotion. Bored, angry, sad, happy it doesn't matter. Sleep is the best cure.I can fall asleep anywhere. I don’t need pillows to sleep. It is also a good way to avoid problems. Problems in your life? Fear not, because sleep will take all of those problems away from you! Who needs to stress and attempt to study for a test that you have the next day? Sleep is your best friend here, I promise.I feel better afterwards. No matter what has happened during the day, good or bad, stressful or not, sleeping always makes me feel better. There is no better feeling than being reunited with my beautiful bed at the end of the day.Image credit: Google Images

Why do people like playing The Sims so much?

Seriously, I'm not trying to be condescending or anything, but I really want to know why people play the Sims so much, why is it the #1 PC game ever sold. I tried it, and I found it entertaining for a couple hours, but after a while, it just lost all its appeal.

If you're an avid Sims player, please respond.

Why do we like some people so much that we get clueless behind the reason of our liking?

Its called infatuation or love at first sight. There are certain people who seems to be our sole mates. When we see the characters of some kind which makes us complete by overcoming our lacking in some person, we get attracted. Example : A simple and introvert person will fall for an extremely talkative advance person. They will feel the spark in between them. Like opposite attracts....
