Why Do You Think I Am Having Numbness

Leg numbness due to marching?

Well I march bass drum 4 and its pretty heavy and I myself only weigh around 125 lbs. After I have marched for about an hour and a half my left leg starts going numb and giving out. Whenever I was marching backwards I stepped out on my right leg and my numb leg gave out. What do you think is wrong with my leg, becasue it doesn't do this if I stretch before hand. No I have a knee brace and it helps but not after a certain point.

Numbness in legs after having huge orgasm. Wife's legs were numb for half hour. I k?

Having an orgasm uses up a huge amount of the body's energy supply. Blood is directed from other parts of the body to the genitals, depriving these other parts of oxygen for a little while.
This is probably what happened to your wife, and the numbness was the result of the muscles in her legs working overtime to get rid of the lactic acid that would have accumulated during the lack of oxygen.

I feel numb. I don’t think I have depression and I have a loving family and friends but why do I feel numb and want to die? Or am I just bored because there’s nothing interesting in life?

Lack of motivation is your answer. I’m not going to play shrink here and tell you things that you are already. What I will tell you is that if you are feeling like this then you are “plateauing” in your life. You are at a crossroad basically. Also you I’m sure you are too smart to want to die.Take the listless time you have on you and look inward. Do an inventory. There has to be something that’s blocking you from living. It could be anything ranging from trauma to procrastination. Whatever it is, if you are feeling not like yourself then pull out a paper and pencil and start penning all the trash you have in your mind down. You will be surprised just how much comes out on that paper after a while of staring blank at that paper.Go through this stage in your life. It is a disguised present. I’m so glad that you are addressing this period of your life rather than running from it.I hope this helps!

Why do I feel so numb?

i know exactly how you feel i myself have become very indifferent towards everything around me the fact is that losing faith and realizing what life and existence truly is, is quite a burden when you realize how little everything really matters it seems all you want is to just be happy again and to stay happy. my only suggestion is to find that thing that makes you truly happy for me that was having a new start when i went off to college meeting new people and finding a loving girl friend my this wont help you but im positive that if you can find the one simple thing that allows you to be finally content and happy it will give you the purpose that you desire. for me it was to keep the people around from feeling the way i do and seeing them happy and content is what has brought significance back into my life

i wish you good luck and i hope you find your purpose just remember that you must find it on your own and that no one can tell you what it is

Why do I feel so numb?

Hello there,The pressures of everyday life are probably too great for you to handle right now. You are lacking affect. It is the way in which you seem to respond to energies around you, or people around you. This is a core symptom of depression. It makes every waking moment seem dull and pointless.  Depression can be extremely deceptive, as suggested above, as it robs you of your ability to think clearly or stay in the moment and enjoy life. I'd imagine for you that receiving help would seem like such a burdening task.If you find a proper "cocktail" to treat the potential symptoms/chemical imbalance you are experiencing and some damn good therapy, the numbness you feel is bound to slowly fade away. You can start to enjoy life again.I know this for myself. My suggestion for you would be to ask a close friend or relative to help you get some help. If you have educated people helping you through your symptoms, you can start to work in support systems for yourself and to feel less alone.Trust me though, you are not alone and there are always outlets or ways in which you can help yourself. No one deserves to feel so cut off from life. You certainly don't. Good luck, my friend.

Why do I feel numb all the time?

It is possible that you feel numb because you are a nihilist; I mention this because I’ve found that it’s a very common occurrence in today’s postmodernist world.Being a nihilist in the more philosophical sense means that you believe that nothing has value at all or at least that it doesn’t have value when faced with the entirety of universe. Because the universe is so vast, because not only you but the Earth itself is only a speck in it and because it will eventually come to an end, lots of people have fallen into a trap called nihilism due to scientific progress and decline of traditional ideological systems (primarily and firstly religion). What does it have to do with your everyday life?Well, firstly, you feel that your actions don’t really matter.Secondly, you believe that your life and what’s happening to you doesn’t matter either. And thirdly, and in my opinion the most dangerous implication, is that you also believe that what happens to your fellow humans or what they do to you or to themselves doesn’t matter either. These beliefs (that I believe are false) can definitely lead to a permanent state of numbness. If nothing has meaning, it means that the world and everything in it also lacks purpose and direction. So, why bother with it?You didn’t include any details, so it could of course be a number of things. If something really bad happened to you, of course it is the most probable cause of this. However, human beings, because of their consciousness and ability to think and imagine, can grow numb or be depressed even if they didn’t experience anything bad.Whatever it is, I hope that you will find an adequate solution because being numb is one of the most hazardous states to be in.

I feel numb, and emotionless after my beakup. I think I am undesirable because the guy I loved, dumped me. I want to feel happy and excited again. Is this a normal feeling?

Feeling numb and emotionless is quite normal after a break up. Because the guydumped you, you will feel that you are undesirable and worthless. But let me tell you something. Going through a breakup can actually teach you a lot. It will help you in making up your mind not to blindly trust any guy and allow him to take you for granted. Most importantly, it will teach you to value yourself. I mean if the guy left you, it was just because he didn't deserve your precious love and time. Instead of thinking why he left you, you should be happy that you have been saved of the trouble of blindly trusting a guy who never really cared. Your feeling of wanting happiness and excitement is quite natural and you should give yourself all that. It is high time you start pursuing your interests and passion in life. Find something that you really want in life and give it your best to achieve that goal.Value your friends and family who genuinely care about you by spending quality time with them. Your life is too short to waste over that one person who never understood your real worth. Live your life to the fullest and make all your dreams come true.

Any ideas on why my left big toe is numb?

For the past two days, my left big toe has been numb. It doesn't hurt. Its not swollen. It is not turning colors. I don't think it has to do with shoe size because the numbness occurs when I'm wearing shoes or even when I'm lying in bed at night. I don't have any of the other symptoms of diabetes.
Right now, it feels like my toe is asleep. I can still feel pressure if I press on it. Any ideas?
Is this something serious enough to bother my doctor with? I don't have a lot of money and a large deductible.

Do they have to numb you to fix a chipped tooth?
