Do you think I got the job?
I believe I showed up well in the interviewed. I was ask general questions for the most and asked to go into more specifics on some general questions. The interviewer asked me if offered how soon could I start. I said in two weeks. Also, he said he was going to make a decision sooner rather than later. He also said that the appropriate next steps if I am selected would be a panel interview with department managers to see how well I mesh with the team. He said he had committed to a couple more interviews, but either way I will know. The interview was yesterday.
Why do you think you were accepted to MIT?
I was accepted as a graduate student at MIT despite having a mediocre overall GPA of 3.5 because:I took an extra heavy course load, often 19 or more credit hours per semester. Usually there were one or more classes that weren’t required, and I really didn’t have time to study or do homework for those. As a result I generally got a C. MIT admissions recognized this. What they saw was that even though it reduced my overall GPA, these extra classes enhanced my education, and they liked that (I was told this after I arrived on campus).While most of my classmates spent their summers interning in industry for $1200- $1600/month, I was among a handful of students who instead took a position at Lawrence Livermore for $500/month. I had a top-secret security clearance (Q-level) and was conducting research on the U.S. nuclear weapons program. I wrote and published two peer-reviewed papers on the work that I did. My boss was the head of the nuclear chemistry division and wrote me a glowing letter of recommendation.I worked my way through college (during the school year) working two part-time jobs. One was off campus (selling auto parts) but the important one was an on-campus job. I assisted a professor with a nuclear chemistry course and handled much of the maintenance and custodial duties in the nuclear science facility (San Jose State University). When classes came into the nuclear science facility to learn how to work with radioisotopes, I was usually the one to deliver a primer in radiation safety as it pertained to their experiments.I joined two research groups as a volunteer. One in the physics dept. the other in chemistry. I assisted graduate students with their thesis research, and sometimes devised and performed my own experiments. I worked on a water recycling project for NASA, and studied the impact of the electronics industry (in Silicon Valley) on the composition of sewage effluent (for the Santa Clara County Water District).I was trained in radiation safety and ended up teaching a module of a one-day radiation safety training seminar during each of my last four semesters as an undergraduate.These are some of the reasons.

"He who ask a question remains a fool for five minutes. He who does not ask remains a fool forever".I think that asking questions is the best and fastest ways to obtain knowledge. There's many different ways you can ask a question.Google a questionAsk on a Q and A forum like Quora or RedditAsk a friend or any person really…Make sure though that no matter where you get your answer from, the person or place you got the answer from should have sources to back it up if it's something factual, or they should be a trust worthy person if asking for advice.
Do you think I can become a K-pop idol?
Pay attention to these points.The only criteria that actually matters are weight and beauty. If you don’t have a pale skin (no, not fair, but pale), forget about getting access. Even many Koreans, who are tanned due to being brought up in warmer countries, don’t get the advantage.It doesn't matter if you can’t sing. SNSD’s Yoona can’t sing more than 4 lines, but she’s still there as a dancer and a visual.Prepare to make a transition to either dramas or movies or variety shows. Even if your acting sucks like Bae Suzy, you have to make a transition because even SHINEE and Super Junior idols are now considered to be “old”.As a K-Pop idol, try to work you way in China as well. That will give you an edge over others K-Pop idols, knowing that you can be used in China as well. Just like how Xiumin is popular in China and Nichkhun is popular in Thailand, you can also do that.It’s a competitive world there. It all depends on how popular you are. If you are always in news for good reasons, you can survive happily. Just look at CNBLUE. Yong Hwa is probably the only idol of the four who has managed to make a mark for himself through multitasking.You have to master Korean, by hook or by crook. Honestly. Hire a tutor or learn from somewhere. But you should be so adept at Korean that you can rap properly in a Karaoke and score a minimum 85 there.If you are not pretty, then get ready to go under the knife, aka, plastic surgery. Chinese, as far as I know, don’t support plastic surgery because they believe in their parents’ physical features (just like how we do). In your lifetime, you have to have many such surgeries and treatments and even workouts- every day, every week, every month.
Why do you think senators can be more independent than representatives on party line votes?
Longer terms mean greater expense to challenge come reelection time and less likelihood of success by a challenger.
Do you think i can turn heads?
You don't stand out, but not because of your looks, but because of your clothing. You need more color, it will bring out your skin color, and dress well from now on. Dress well is not hard, just buy clothes you already tried on and fit properly with bright colors, shinny, and interesting.
What's the difference between "what are you thinking" and "what do you think"?
“What are you thinking” is one of the most intrusive and discourteous sentences ever. The ONLY time it is appropriate is between lovers/spouses/partners etc. in their intimate moments.The answer otherwise to which is “none of your effing business”.
