Why Do You Think My Mom Insists On Using Heavy Cream

I think I have a yeast infection what do i do?

I'm pretty sure i have a yeast infection. It's red, itchy, burning, swollen, and i have heavy yellowish discharge. I am sexually active and can't let my parents know. I'm 17 and I've never had one before. Can I get it diagnosed by the doctor or gynecologist and have them not tell my parents? or should I just buy cream and self treat it. I fear it's getting really bad...

I have this off white creamy stuff coming out of my vaginal area what could it be?

Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge (mucous) is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. You will also have your own 'scent' (musky) and it will smell stronger to you than to others. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away.

Bleeding probably means he penetrated your hymen, but the white stuff doesn't mean that. The bleeding could also mean that he's a little too rough with you or has scratched you with a fingernail.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Different types of infections:

Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching

Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after washing with soap
Itching or burning
Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulva

Signs of trichomoniasis
A watery, yellowish or greenish bubbly discharge
An unpleasant odor
Pain and itching when urinating
Most apparent after your period

How can i get my parents to stop buying fast food?

Aww, Hun, I'm sorry... that's definitely not right because I'd feel the same way. So the best advice I can give you is to try a few things:
1. Just straight-out tell them, "I don't want fast food."
2. When they force you to eat it, tell them that it's going to make you throw up.
3. Show them "Super-size me." Haha they'd never want fast food again.
4. Pull up the nutrition tables for all the places that they commonly go to. Show them all the stuff on it and the long-term effects of it. Explain that you're not dieting, just trying to be healthy and following your 2000 calorie, 60g of fat, 20g sat. fat diet, liek is reccomended for a growing person.
5. Ask them not to buy it as much, but when they do to get Subway because it is so much more healthy.
6. If all else fails, cry some more.
I hope this helps. :) Good luck!

Tattoo artists please answer ?

My husband and I have a few tattoos each. We both recently got one (two days ago) and he insists that he should put triple antibiotic ointment on it. I did that once to one and then later was told by the artist, that had to re-do it, that I used "too much" triple antibiotic ointment. They don't even tell you know to use that. I was told to just use soap and water, then when dry a thin layer of non fragranced, hypoallergenic lotion. Mine is doing well. My husband, quite larger, was given an actual tattoo salve, (called tat wax) but yet he is still using triple antibiotic ointment, stating "it can't hurt". I don't think he/we should be using any ointment they didn't tell us to use when we left the tattoo place. His tat is actually red looking all around it. So, is he supposed to be using the triple antibiotic ointment and could it actually be harming the fresh tattoo?

I want to go vegan but my family and culture is widely meat loving? Help!!!?

I want to become a vegan because it seems like a good idea, but my family is big on meat and just wants me to give up. I haven't eaten meat in the past two days, so I'm doing pretty well so far, but I also want to start cutting out eggs and dairy products. My mom wont let me buy tofu or soymilk because she says they are too expensive, and everyone else says i'm being ridiculous. Its something I really want to do. How do I show them that its what i really want to do!?since I live in hawaii, there are like a super wide variety of meat foods, like spam musubi, shoyu chicken, etc. They are all very tempting. What can I replace those foods with? Please help!!!
