Why does a certain person keep popping up as a suggestion on Instagram after clearing my search history?
First reason may be that you have linked your instagram account with other social media like FB. Which use the contacts of your fb account and cross verify whether the same person have created account on IG or not..if yes..it will popup to you..so if you want..you can remove the connection of fb or other linked accounts with IG account..Second…you have enabled the option which grabs your contacts and gives you the list of people from your contacts who are on IG registered with same contact info you have in contact list of your device.So disable it if you want.Third..its obvious that such like in FB you can see mutual friends..or friend of friend..same here in IG..they just provide the facility that shows some list of people who are followed by one of the person you are already following.I dont think so it can be removed.So..thats what i know about this things…so one thing i can say is if its not necessary then dont link your account with other sites if you dont want this kind of things happen with you.Thanks..i hope this may be helpful to you.✌

I can think of these 8 reasons. Please suggest others if you know.You have a lot of mutual friends.You have studied in a same school in the past or present.You have worked in a same company in the past or present.You are from a same hometown or place.You have liked similar pages and joined similar groups.The other person has saved your contact number that you have specified in your Facebook account, in his/her mobile phone.I am not sure about this, but may be the other person has viewed your profile quite a lot of times recently.And yes, lastly, Facebook detects that you both are using a same public IP. I have experienced it myself and just remembered it after I read your description of the question later. Sorry for that.Thank You.

Does a Facebook friend suggestion appear to a person when you view their profile?
Through my own and others experiences, the list of suggested friends shows that people who have viewed your profile show up there. Though it won’t show everyone, and not everyone really has viewed your profile, our experiences have been pretty creepy and sometimes alarming. There have been many instances where people located in different areas where there are no common friends show up in that list and then later reveal themselves to us in some way, whether in public or through Facebook. It’s creepy. I wish they would just come out and be honest about who creeps on your page.The logical answer based on what Facebook says about it’s algorithims and being connected through a common network of people would be no.

This is someone I don't know at all. I never would have even notices them except that they keep showing up in my life at different random times. 1. I was coming around a corner from the snack room and in a busy building and there they were. We almost ran into each other. 2. I was running to the elevator and asking someone to hold it and I get there and it was them. 3. I went down a street I almost never use and they were there on the side of the road. I think you get the picture. Its stuff like that. Is my life leading me to this person or do I need to talk to this person about something or what? What would you do if you kept running into a stranger or some you had seen before at random times in random places?
