Why Does Mexico Favorite Chicharito And Ochoa When Its Dos Santos Whos The Best Player Hands Down

MFS: Chicharito, Guardado, Gio, Moreno, Maza, Ochoa convocados?

I disagree that this is a punishment. look at the guys who are being called, they're the top notch players of el Tri. Vela and Jonathan Dos Santos came out and asked to not be considered for the Olympics before they were even asked. I'm not sure if they were even going to be considered for that.

The truth is that these two players are still in the making and truthfully are not good enough to be in El Tri yet, unless they're benched. I think you got other players in Mexico who have been performing better than these two. For example Aldo de Nigris and Uribe Peralta are the best two forwards in Mexico right now and when they have been called to El Tri they have been key players, Vela has not. In Jona's case you still Castro from Cruz Azul, Torrado, Enriquez, Herrera, Salcido and a couple other who can easily take his place and you know what, they are not bench warmers.

So, I disagree with them being punished. I think they're good players but they are still in the making. But there's always next year.

Does México have the best players in CONCACAF?

I'm almost on board with Darkside, but I'm not ready to tip the striker position to Mexico. I've said before that Altidore has yet to prove that his streak is, well, more than just a streak...but the way he's playing *right now* along with Johannsonn in the wings is pretty daunting. Throwing Vela in the mix doesn't work - he's not there. Eddie Johnson seems like a 'serviceable' player at the position, but not special outside of his aerial play.

At the forward position, with Donovan, Dempsey, Bradley and speedster F. Johnson, the US is pretty darn good.

Chicharito, on the other hand, gets slaughtered when facing bigger defenders. Unlike 'great' small players at the position, he doesn't 'create'. His game is all about the crosses, and in International play, his size is an issue. Maradona and Messi could/can start and end plays on their own (sometimes from their own half of the field).

Gio works better in the Internationals, but the managers seemingly can't find a way to use him effectively - saying: "they're far superior, yet can't win" is not only a tautology, but in my humble opinion, one of the reasons Mexico has performed so poorly.

What I mean by that: Before the US match Guardado mouthed off with remarks on 'how much better they were'. Then he went out and played like crap. The only effective thing he'd done vs. Honduras was flop to draw a yellow card on Garcia (serious acting job). Its promising that Vucetich booted him for bad play. Klinsmann has the US playing well because there are no sacred cows on his team - good play gets you a start, not popularity or seniority.

The above is one of the two things the Mexican NT needed fixed. Now if they can find a way to use their players effectively...

There are also numerous MLS players on the US Team beside Dempsey and Donovan as well (especially on the defensive line starting with Besler and Gonzalez). There are also several CONCACAF and assorted other Internationals (Boniek Garcia of Honduras has been raising Hell in the Hex, as a prime example).

What are your five fav. mexican soccer players? and why?

Alberto García-Aspe puro coraje all time favorite is the biggest influence on my game.
I play the same position and try to do what he did. The best mexican midfielder ever.

Adolfo Bautista I like to watch because its like watching everyone else going in slow motion when he has the ball. Unreal sense for movement and excellent technique. He always shows up in big games.

Carlos Vela because he's just soo darn cute. take him off your 5 :P

Why is chivas the best team in Mexico?

Chivas the best team in mexico? Just because the only use mexicans doesn't mean there the best. If they were the best then how come they couldn't beat indios to qualify for the liguilla?

1Q: dint you hear VERGAra isn't going to buy any refuerzos? He's going to stick to his current team.

2Q: no I'm also going since I live in atlanta. I bought the 125.00 dollar vip tickets. I can take pic with a player from mexico. So I'm going to try to take a pic with either carlos vela or memo ochoa ( no homo ).

Edit: @ bumbfighter951 wow lets look at the teams america beat and the teams chivas beat..........

Chivas couldn't beat santos, toluca, indios, cruz azul,

America beat santos, tied with toluca, beat cruz azul, and tied to indios.

I respect and usually don diss on chivas but man some chivistas like you talk out of your ***. Every team has extranjeros so why is it a big deal if america uses extranjeros?

Do you agreee with Guille Franco starting over Chicharito Hernandez for El Tri?

I certainly do not agree with Aguirre's possible decision and I hope that Aguirre doesn't adamantly keep him in their for the next two games after South Africa. It's not written in stone yet, but right now the indications are that Franco will start and Hernandez will not. I am absolutely against this decision for a variety of reasons. On the one hand, although Franco does have more experience and has the experience of playing internationally coming off a season with West Ham of England, he is actually coming off the worst season of his career. West Ham of England has decided not to renew his contract due to his lack of positive results for the team and remains unsigned. Sure Franco scored the only goal against England, but that wasn't so much because of his skill but more or less because he rebounded the ball after a block from the English goalkeeper and shot the ball in---he just happened to be in the right place at the right time, in front of the goalkeeper. Being in the right place and just standing there waiting to get the ball isn't a display of so much skill. Furthermore, Franco isn't a fast player anymore and is always a liabilty due to his tendency to get injured. His lack of speed is actually detrimental to El Tri because he cannot keep up with the fast paced attack of Mexico brought on by its future stars Carlos Vela of Arsenal and Giovani Dos Santos of Galatasaray of Turkey. Chicharito Hernandez, on the other hand, is entering the best moment of his career after leading the Mexican soccer league in scoring and most recently he was signed by Manchester United of England. He has scored numerous goals and has shown that he can already be the starter for Mexico. He scored a goal against the Netherlands, the only one for Mexico, and could have scored also against Italy if it wasn't for a slip on the grass. Chicharito has the speed that compliments Dos Santos and Vela, whereas Franco is too slow to keep pace. Chicharito should be the starter, but I hope that Aguirre will not have made a severe mistake that will cost them the game against South Africa. If Mexico does win that game, Chicharito should be the starter for the next two games as he gives Mexico their best chance to score and pressure defenses.

“I’m not a Muslim, but the best person from my view is Prophet Muhammad”Your answer:CAIRO – Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez Balcazar has expressed admiration of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him). “I’m not a Muslim, but the best person from my view is Prophet Muhammad,” Balcazar, who goes by the nickname Chicharito, wrote on his Twitter account.

Because of Mexico…1, 2, 3, 14!!! Could be a mistake, could be the volume level, or something else, however is in Spanish! and contains more words or phrases in spanish. Why Mexico? In October 1992 Bono was in a place called Vertigo in Ciudad Juarez, two days before their concert in El Paso (U2 ZOO TV Tour, 1992-10-27: Texas Sun Bowl - El Paso, Texas, USA)That was his 1st time in Mexico, he also visited a bar called Chihuahua Charlie’s and then moved to the Vertigo, two blocks from there. That picture was taken at Chihuahua Charlie’s bar n grill in Ciudad Juarez, a picture of Bono and tour assistant, also Emiliano Zapata in the back almost doing a PhotoBomb. The presence of Bono and staff members in Juarez is documented in the book “U2: Far Away So Close” by B.P. Fallon. Also there’s a reference of a nightclub when he was asked about the song:In the case of "Vertigo", I was thinking about this awful nightclub we've all been to. — Bono, U2 by U2in an interview for Rolling Stone Magazine, Bono replied "there may have been some alcohol involved"The song in concerts performed in southwest USA starts with this:Honey, I’m home Some Spanish lessons With an Irish accent Vamos, muchachicos  Unos, dos, tres, catorce! Also he says Viva Mexico in the middle of the song:“Hello, hello Hola We’re at a place called Vertigo Donde esta? It's everything I wish I didn't know But you give me something I can feel Feel  Viva Mexico Hours of fun”The song was released more than 10 years after his visit to that place called Vertigo, and this is my theory because of so many coincidences, he already visited that place called Vertigo, it’s a nightclub, alcohol involved and Spanish.U2 Day by daySong Info
