Why Does My Bed Shakes On Its Own

Why does my bed randomly shake?

This has been going on for a few years now - I ll be laying in bed, minding my own business, when my bed starts shaking. It s not a violent shake, or even a strong one - just a definite, quick back and forth movement that startles me. It s random, doesn t happen often, but often enough that I am now familiar with the situation. There s no seismic activity; this is Pennsylvania. There s no family history of sleeping disorders and I never really have issues falling asleep. What s going on?

My Bed Shakes By Itself?

Sounds paranormal. First off, don't be scared, they can't harm you. I have 3 ghosts that live in my house. I hear them banging things around once in a while and talking, but when I want them to leave me alone, I just tell them that. It's wanting to get your attention for some reason. You could try talking to it. Use some thing to record the conversation and make sure some one else is present. If that don't work, you could always contact, TAPS, Paranormal State, or Ghost lab.
My profile picture is of one of the spirits that lives in my house. I was able two get two other pictures of different spirits. They were taken the night me and my better half did a paranormal investigation. She was the one that actually took each pictures while I was doing an EVP session using a Digital Voice recorder (DVR). EVP stands for Electronic Voice Phenomenon.
You can except them and live with them, or you can ignore them and be scared of your own home.
Hope this helps. Christopher
P.S. It won't hurt to say a pray.

Why Does My Bed Shake at Night?

That's creepy... if it is in fact some kind of paranormal activity, perhaps try and connect with it. It seems as though it's trying to reach out to you.

Have someone else sleep in the bed either on their own, or with you, and see if they have the same experience.

Why was my bed shaking on its own?

Tonite I encountered something really weird while in the process of listening to music and getting ready to sleep. I had shut my eyes and all of a sudden something starts thumping from underneath my bed (almost like a shaking motion- it went on for 2-3 minutes). It was a thumping sensation that made the entire bed vibrate, so I immediately jumped out of bed to check what it was. I lifted up the matress, bed sheets and checked everywhere (Walls, bed frame, floor) to see if it was anything else causing the shaking.

Nothing was moving other than the matress/bed sheet. I remember just looking at the bed sheet, to see if it was moving and not my arm making it move. It was moving pretty much by itself; even having removed bed sheets, lifted the matress up etc. So I thumped it really hard and after about another 30 seconds - 1 minute, it started to slow down and eventually stop. Has anyone else encountered anything like this, or can explain why this happens? I'm sure its not me because I was concious and physically got out of bed what in had happened. I havnt had much sleep and had been quite depressed today after having an argument with my flat mate, but im not sure so that thats the reason.

I can't find out why my bed shakes by itself?

I live In Florida so No earthquakes.Anyways I often sit on my bed with my laptop( I do school work online) and my bed will shake while im not moving .It does it during the day and at night and im the only person in my room.

I know it's not my imagination because on my bed stand that's connected to my bed the drinks will be moving and my latop screen will shake when I put it down.

I often try to re-in act the movement it makes but I can't.
It goes on for about 3-5minutess at a time.

Can someone tell me why it does this?
It's kinda getting annoying now.

Why is my bed shaking by itself?

Ill be dead in sleep and be waked up by my bed shaking. its not violent or anything. at first i thought my cat was under it scratching and that was causing it to shake. but one night it went on for a good 10-15 min. im to scared to move and i know its not me making the bed shake. the first few times it started happening i thought maybe it was a small earthquake so i asked my mom if she was woken up by the same thing the previous night and she said no, so did everyone else. then it started happening more and more. Also once im awake i swear i can feel something sit down on the bottom of my bed or lay down beside me but there is nothing there. another this is that my cat sleeps with me every night but on the nights this happens to me he is never anywhere to be found or he will come in the room with me and then turn around and leave at the door. Now im in college and didnt really think much of this until last week i was napping and my bed started shaking. i woke up and something sat at the end of my bed. what is going on with me? is someone watching over me? is it bad? i went home this past weekend and was telling my family about it and my great aunt was there along with my older neighbor and they both experiance the same bed shaking at night. so i know im not the only one out there that this happens to which makes me feel a little better. also ive been stopped while on vacation by people numerous times saying im special and they always know my name with out me telling them! im 18 years old and this has been happening for about 2 years that i can remember or that i've noticed. please tell me anything you can about this. thanks a bunch.

My bed shakes at night?

So. A few years ago I lived in a different house and I noticed my bed shaking only at night when I lay in bed. It happens a few times a night. It doesn't keep me up it s just slight. But then it stopped once I moved and I haven't really thought much of it. but now it's back. I have a completely different bed too. And I live in a pretty remote place not by any train tracks, or any machinery. Nothing is wrong with my house the house is very new and always inspected for issues. I've also noticed I've been having nightmares every night and my dreams seem crazy real. They're also very detailed and long. Please give me serious answers as to what this could be. I've checked my room and there's nothing that could be shaking my bed.

Why was my bed randomly shaking?

Trucks with raw lumber will pass close enough to shake my house, without being audible enough to hear.  I'll be sitting, watching TV at night, and the loveseat will vibrate slightly for a second or two.  No roar, no noise, no thunderous footsteps... no T-Rex in the neighborhood.Raw Lumber?  Trees.  I live in Western Washington state right now.  Logging is a thing. In your case, it could be a truck, or for all I know, it could be a subway.  I don't know where you live. Then again, maybe an Alien ship had passed very close overhead, and the atmospheric gravity drive they use to move about the planet made your bed shake a bit.The monster under your bed could have shivered also.
