There are more things to consider than just similar interests. Interests being the less important.Personality, morals and views. If these differ your not going to get along as much.I love Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Narnia. I love cosplay and arts and crafts. I love out door activities of they are around a body of water. There are millions of people who like or love the same things but i dont like their personality or we have different morals and morals is something that has to be on the same page.Physical attraction plays a big part to. And there is nothing wrong with not being attracted to someone and using that as a reason not to date someone.You dont need to justify rejecting someone. And you do not need a reason for someone not liking you in a certain way.Many of my friends share many of the same interests as me male and female but im not asking them out nor are they me. We are happy with being friends. If one were to ask i would consider it only because we have been friends for so long so we are compatible. But i am free to say no and vice versa. Though we are adults and the chances of that happening are nil because lines are drawn already.Just because you enjoy talking with people at work or at school about various topics does not mean they are interested in anything more than that. Nor is anyone obligated to feel a certain way or give you a shot just because you talked to them.

Should I change myself and the things I like for my crush?
Hey!I can definitely see how much you like your crush, and how much desperate you are to be with him.But on a more practical note, simply changing yourself and your taste one day, will definitely not work out.Think about it on a long-term basis:Imagine he starts liking you back after you've changed yourself and your taste. One fine day, during one of your candlelight dinners, you spot someone beside your table munching on some food you absolutely love, but you've stopped having it, because your crush is allergic to one of the ingredients.Even though you could order that food item, and make your dinner more delicious, you can't do it, because you've always shown your masked face to him.This was only a mere example, but you definitely would've understood what I meant.You would eventually have to lose yourself and be regretful about wearing the mask in the first place.Try and make him like you just the way you are. I always wanted to tell my crush about his qualities.. that he may be doesnt know about. You are the coolest guy i ever have noticed. Though you dont even remember me now . I always have noticed your every move. One of the reason i liked you was also that some of my friends also liked you so i thought i am not the only one. Believe me i have never thought of any other guy like i think of you.. however you are just a fiction for me. Whom i can never get reply from . But i was happy with it. Stay happy and stay blessed.
