Why does my face get red when I talk to guys?
hahaha this question should be under some sort of science. I think its that rush of blood you get to your body (when your heart beats faster and you're nervous, or excited, or happy...etc) the blood must flow somewhere, and under pale skin itll definitely show.. now some people will redden more than others, thats just genetic.
Whenever I speak to someone my face gets red. Whether it is talking to a relative, friend, or teacher, I just cannot control it. What should I do to help stop me from blushing so easily and not look like an idiot every time someone speaks to me?
You have my sincerest sympathy. That was me, until at least my mid 20’s. It’s embarrassing, it’s humiliating and it affects your self esteem in ways that other people would not even realise.I don’t actually have a lot of helpful advice for you. I found once I had a child,and needed to advocate on his behalf, that took the focus off me and helped immeasurably. I certainly don’t suggest you run out and have child though!Confidence in speaking is vital. A public speaking group will help you in more ways than you know. I know it seems like the worst thing possible, but confronting your fear whilst doing something concrete about it will help so much. Toastmasters is an international group that is well recognised. There may be others in your country though.Keep in mind that people want you to succeed. They want to hear what you have to say. Once you overcome your biggest enemy - your own mind - then the sky really is the limit.
Why does my face turn red ALL THE TIME?
Okay so at the beginning of this year, my face just started turning red for no reason at all. The teacher would call on me in school my face would turn bright red. Alot of people look at me at the same time my face goes red, even when someone says hi or tries to have a conversation with me i get red, and im not even embarrassed its so weird. This has never happened to me before until this year I have always been outgoing and loved to have a lot of friends, but ever since my face started turning red I don't wanna talk to anybody, I feel like a freak when i talk to someone and their like "oh your face is turning so red!" I don't even go to school anymore because of this, and I don't talk to anybody I don't even hardly go out anywhere anymore. I kind of feel like I have social anxiety I did some research on it, and blushing constantly is one of the symptoms. I kind of wanna talk to a doctor to see if I can get medication for it so it will just stop but Im afraid while im talking to him my face will flush and go all red and ill just embarrass myself. Im only in my teens, and honestly this disorder is ruining my life! as of now i have the social life of a 60 year old. Why do you think this could be happening to me, and what can i do to make it stop?

Often it's from a lack of confidence - either in your ability to answer the question or for standing in full view of everyone and being judged on your looks or behavior. See how it feels when you are asked something you are very knowledgeable about - feels much different. Also it's something that goes away or at least reduces as you get older.

I get this sometimes, its frustrating. Apparently most people wont notice. You need a distraction, focus on your breathing; for example count 5 seconds while breathing in and count 7 seconds when breathing out. Although this might not be helpful when hes standing right in front of you. So if he does notice and says something, just lie and say you have high blood pressure, or you have a headache coming on. Or wear a foundation that can hide it to an extent. Do you go red because you think they are judging you? Best of luck x

I'm a guy and yes my face starts to get red and I can feel it getting warm when I see girl I really like. Anybody else get that? I guess it means you really like that person then to feel that way? Thanks

This probably sounds really weird but every time I talk to someone I turn beat red and I stumble my words. Even if I am at the store and the cashier says "hello" I turn red and its so embarrassing! I have always been shy to everyone and I feel like it prevents me from having normal relationships with people. I feel like people think I'm weird. Ugh maybe its just a phase but do you have any advice on how I can beat this shyness+blushing. I am 19 years old.

Ever since I started wearing makeup, my face has turned bright red every time I take it off. I've tried drug store foundation, such as Covergirl and Maybelline and higher end foundation, such as Nyx, BareMinerals, and MAC. Same result. Any suggestions on a brand or know what the hell is going on?
