I couldn't disrespect a friend by not telling them something important that they are entitled to know. It's cruel and I don't consider cruel people to be the kind of people I want listed in my contacts.You should reevaluate your friendships. Give them one last opportunity to tell you what you want or sometimes really need to know. I'd write them an email detailing my feelings and of course give them the benefit of the doubt.But don't wait forever on a reply. Don't let yourself get strung along for months on end waiting patiently. You need to respect yourself. Once you realize that they have no intention of treating you kindly, then make an exit.There's nothing good that can come out of friends who enjoy deceiving you. Move on as fast as you can. My friends tell me to kill myself?
My two guy friends often tell me to kill myself. I've told them not to say that to ANYONE, yet they still continue to. Before I felt really depressed; I often cut and prepared for suicide once. I still get thoughts, but they're not as bad as before, and I've been clean of cutting for a few months now. I do feel a lot stronger now, but I hate it when my friends say things, especially since they sort of know about my past. What should I do? I know they're joking, but sometimes I think they really do mean it, considering they know about what I used to be like. My first friend says things like "I hope you die", "Kill yourself", and "Go die", if he's 'mad'. Not legitimately mad, but in a jokingly defensive way if we mess around. My second friend is in one of my classes, in which I'm considered an overachiever. I try hard to keep my A+ in that class, so whenever I answer a question or volunteer for something, he jokes and calls me a teacher's pet, later saying I should go kill myself, I need to shoot myself already, he'd be happy if I cut my wrists, etc.
