Why Does My Iphone Car Charger Make Audio Stop Working

Why does my iPhone always get muted when it is charging?

If you are facing this issue frequenty, then take the backup using iTunes and restore with latest OS and test once without restoring your backup. If you still face the same issue then it could be issue with hardware and your iPhone will be replaced if it is under warrenty. If it is working fine after restoring to latest version then restore your backup too and test it. But I am sure that if it is working fine after restoring iOS then there won’t be any prob after restoring your backup.

Why isn’t my iPhone detected when I plug it into the car charger?

There could be a variety of causes:Your iPhone isn’t plugged in properly or your cable is broken. Try a different cable and plug it in again.Your car charger is broken, not providing enough current, or your car’s 12/24V port is broken. Try a different car charger and/or a different port.Your car charger is not designed to charge iPhones. Apple devices need a signal (IIRC 2V on the data pins) from the charger for the device to recognize it as a “authorized” charger. Try a different car charger.Hope I helped!

Why doesn’t my iPhone 7 work with the aux port in my car?

This sounds like a problem with the lightning connector. First I would make sure the lightning port does not have lint built up, this happens frequently for me. If it does it can be easily removed with a small toothpick or if you are very careful a paper clip.if that is not the case then it is likely the lightning cable or the lightning to 3.5mm adapter, whichever you are using. I would try a new one.if you are using a USB port on your car and not a 3.5mm jack then there is a possibility of a problem with the car stereo, to troubleshoot this I would try and use another iPhone if possible and see what it does.if a new cable doesn't fix the problem and another phone works fine then I would try a hard reset on your iPhone by holding down the power and volume down buttons until you see the Apple logo. If that doesn't take care of it then I would contact Apple, at least the phone is under warranty still.

Does leaving phone chargers plugged in a car overnight deplete the car's battery?

By “audio jack”, do you mean a device that sends audio to the FM radio in your car?If your car’s cigarette lighter socket stays live even when you shut off your car, then yes, it will draw power from the battery. Even with no phone plugged in, a charger draws a little current. If the “audio jack” is an FM transmitter, then it draws the same current whether there is audio going through it or not. Will it drain your battery? Only if your battery is so close to dead that it might not start the car even if you didn’t leave those things plugged in. Even the FM transmitter should only draw 10 to 30mA and the charger a tenth of that, that is a guess. Your car battery is likely 50Ah or more (don’t confuse amp-hour ratings with CCA aka cold cranking amperage). Most cars shut off the lighter socket when the ignition is off, in which case it doesn’t matter what is plugged into it when the car is off.

Why doesnt my aux cord fit in the iphone 7 plus aux adapter?

I just got an iPhone 7plus and it comes with the aux cord adapter however for some reason my aux cord doesnt fit in the adapter, it's too loose. Why is this? It's a normal aux cord and it fit perfectly in my previous iPhone 6. Is the adapter faulty or is this something common? I'm annoyed because now I can't play music in my car because the aux cord slips out of the adapter. What can I do?

My phone charger got wet... still safe to use?

It will not burn your house down even if you plugged it into the wall and put the phone end into water it would however fry the resisters inside it and the transformer. As the first post said let it dry and it will be fine. Don't wrap it in a towel that will stop airflow and hold the moisture in after the towel gets wet it is useless, however putting it in a zip-lock bag of rice(not quick rice if it still has noticeable water and sticking it where the sun, in front of heater, or other ambient heat source for a few hrs will allow it to dry completely(did this to my friends Iphone last time he dropped it into the beer cooler and it worked great)!

Crackling from aux input in car while phone is plugged in?

crackling or popping sounds through the speakers is usually an indication of a loose connection. Check your wiring.

How do I stop iPhone from automatically playing music when I get in my car?

I would assume that what is happening is that the phone connects to the car’s bluetooth system, the system sees the new connection from the phone and switches the the bluetooth input, that switch causes the phone to start playing.Choice 1: Turn off auto-play on your car’s entertainment system. If you can do this, great. Problem solved.Choice 2: Delete the music app on the phone. Radical, but it worksChoice 3: Turn off blurtooth on the phone when you get into the car - swipe up to the control center screen and click the bluetooth icon. Of course you lose all hands-free access to the phone this way, but the music stops.Realistically, unless there is a way to stop your car stereo from auto-playing when a bluetooth device connects, iOS is going to do it automatically..
