Why Does My Nose Hurt Whe I Breath Through It

Why does it burn when i breathe through my nose?!?

Yeah, its probably from the cold. All the runniness and stuff froma cold can irritate the inside of your nose. Also it gets dry more easily.
You could check the drugstore to see if they have nosedrops or nasal spray for that? I'm not sure.

Also drink a ton of water and put a humidifier next to your bed so the air doesn't dry out your nose/throat overnight.

Why does it hurt when I breathe through my nose?

it sounds like your nose is dry - not like in a 'get lotion' sort of way, but like you ened more moister in the air you breathe - 2 things to help pretty quickly:
1. get some nose spray that is ONLY for a dry nose - it has saline in it and will help the burning and dryness
2. get a humidifier and sleep with it at night - they are around $25 and i bet will cure your problem!

also, if you fly a lot, take that nose spray with you - when your nose is dry like that, it is much easier for you to catch a cold because there is in mucus to fight it off!

good luck!

Why does it hurt to breathe through my nose in a sauna?

Sinus problems.... see when you breath though your mouth, it drys out the throat, so you need something with an antihistamine in it.. to breath though your nose, and not your mouth. Anything for sinus will help you, it happens to me all the time, so I know the deal, I take a Claritin-D 12 hours as soon as I feel the nose stopping up. It is a miserable feeling to have... not closing your mouth, and drying out your throat, poor thing... I feel your pain, so take something for it, and feel the relief of breathing through your nose again... without pain.

Why does breathing through my nose make my throat hurt more?

Possibly because your nasal passages are inflamed, or that area of your throat is inflamed. Try sipping on hot drinks and breathing in the steam. It should help. Suck on throat lozenges. Drink tea with honey.

It is very likely that it is a sinus problem. When you put your head facing down pressure from full sinuses could be causing you the discomfort. You might try addressing the sinus problem if that's what you think it could be. For sinus problems I always take Pseudoephedrine which you'll have to ask the pharmacist for it because they keep it behind the counter and then also you've got to do some heat on your face where your sinuses are. Your sinuses are between your eyebrows and above your eyes and then there's another set of sinuses that are on either side of your nose just below your eyes. I use a rice bag that my mother made me and put it in the microwave for a couple minutes or until it's hot. If you don't have one of these you can actually make one really simply by taking a sock and filling it with raw rice not instant rice and tying the sock clothes or sewing it closed. When you go to nougat be really careful that you start with like 30 seconds if that's not quite hot enough then go up another 30 seconds.

Head hurts when I breathe through my nose?

Your question: "Head hurts when I breathe through my nose? I currently am ending a cold but whenever I inhale hard, I feel alot of pressure in my head building up and then it goes away. I also feel this coldness whenever I inhale through my mouth and it makes me cough? Is this normal?"

No it is not normal.

It is a symptom of sinusitis.

Why do my bottom teeth hurt when I breathe through my nose?

Maybe when you breath through your nose, you pull you're tongue back, which could pull at your gums.

Your throat has been dried out by breathing through your nose. That is why nasal CPAP machines almost always have a humidifier attachment. When you breathe through your mouth, the action of breathing causes your mouth to open and close, and your tongue to move up and down. This, in turn causes your salivary glands to moisten and lubricate your oral cavity.

Anyone who advises you to run while breathing through your nose and out your mouth is misinformed.  Doing this will severely limit the amount of air you can breathe in and will result in slower running and racing.See this post I wrote for more information:http://how2runfast.com/post/2684...
