Why Does My Package From Amazon Say It Was Delivered Yesterday At 11 Am And I Never Got It

What should you do if your Amazon package shows up as delivered by USPS, but you never got it?

My first hand experience. I bought close to $1000 worth of home items. I received about $300 worth of items and about $700 was not delivered even though status was delivered. I contacted amazon through chat on 9/22 Saturday night . They said they needed 72 hours to investigate. I called on Tuesday 9/25 since no one contacted me. They said they needed 72 hours business hours ok so I called 9/26. They said package was delivered and I said it wasn't. So they said I need a police report. I called the police got a police report in the mean time amazon sent me an email that basically it was delivered and it is out of their hands once carrier delivers. They advise to call USPS and local authorities.Everyone on here seems to think amazon will take care of you but the answer is yes if purchase is small but NO if you spent a lot of money in 1 order. I'm very disappointed in amazon as we spent thousands and thousands of dollars and this is how they treat me. They told me I'm a valued customer but I am not as they refuse to send me a replacement or refund.I called back and gave them a police report we will see what happens. But they're really giving me the run around. I would also advise on not using amazon prime credit card as other companies will probably issue you credit but since their credit card and amazon are the same company I will probably be SOL. I am so angry at this point I will sell my amazon stocks and take them to court and spread the word on how they treat their values customers. I've spent so much money and this is the only time i've hadproblems and this is how they treat me. And apparently customer service doesn't even know my name.

The package says it's out for delivery and it's 10 PM. Will it be here tomorrow or tonight?

Sounds like the package was scanned in error to me and a correction or update to the tracking may come up in the data ( tracking ) soon. I recommend comparing today’s date, with the date, the package was scheduled to be delivered and that may tell you exactly what you need to know if it says it will be out today and the scheduled delivery is one or two days later, it’s very likely, the package was scanned in error. However, even though many scheduled deliveries show a date of delivery, the item is often delivered a day earlier than scheduled. That happens because mail can be processed and delivered quicker if it’s staying on the same side of the country, otherwise it can easily take another day to go from Miami Beach to Seattle. It may also require another day if it is delivered in a rural area, rather than the much larger city the mail had been processed for delivery or to its actual station that will handle the delivery. Most Priority Mail and First C;ass Mail moves quickly in the U.S. All considering, the cost to do that, is lower than anywhere else in the world. If the U.S. Mail is ever sold to private industry, we’ll be paying at least 3 times the amount we are paying now, delivery will be much much slower and our veterans will be out of a job and those who will be replacing our veterans, will have to accept a much lousy benefits, a much much lower wage, including minimum wage ( believe me, it’s not worth the hard work ) and it would be a disaster to U.S. economy…….

If your Amazon order says "Arriving today by 8 PM" and it's now 8:01 and it still hasn't arrived, where's your stuff?

Still on the truck out for delivery! It means it's late and you're entitled, in the terms and conditions of Amazon Prime, of a month of free Prime. Get on the phone as soon as 8:01 happens and get your free month!I got three free months of Prime this winter. Every time they were more than 24 hours late though. Sometimes they'll refund your purchase or give you half off, and if that ends up being more than the $7 or so for a month of Prime, definitely go for that.Amazon has a deal with USPS and usually they can get it there before 8. In my cases, snowstorms delayed them. It's not anyone's fault usually, but they still have to honor it. Most people don't know about that though and just let it go.
