Why does the right side of my stomach hurt?
If the pain is just under the rib cage on the right side, it most likely is your gallbladder. Bad bile made in your liver from eating bad fats like Vegetable oils (canola, soybean, cottonseed, and corn oils) and fried foods, hydrogenated oils, trans fats, etc. all contribute to very bad bile. The liver makes this and then sends it to the gallbladder. The gallbladder is a storage tank for bile. If the bile is viscous from these bad oils, it will crystalize and form stones. When you eat any fatty foods, the gallbladder squeezes and the bile flows down the bile duct to digest the fats. If stones are present, the bile has a hard time getting down that duct. This causes pain. The most active time the bile is made is between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the day time. If you are on a LOW fat diet, this diet exacerbates the problem and makes it definitely worse. These very stupid people that recommend low fat this and low fat that have no understanding of how the body works. It's very important to understand fats and how they play a very important part in regard to your health. If you were having a gas problem, that still relates to your digestion. Don't let some surgeon convince you that you need your gallbladder out until you understand completely the whole process and how you can make yourself healthy with a diet change first. 99% of all gallbladder operations could be avoided if good nutrition was applied. good luck to you

Depends on the severity and how long it's been, and if you've had your appendix removed yet. It might be appendicitis. Try pushing on the spot where the appendix is suppose to be. If it hurts like hell—head to the hospital. Even if it's not and it still hurts—head to the hospital.In the end, it's your body, and only you know what's best for it.
My lower right side of my stomach hurts why?
It sounds like a hernia. Lay flat on your back with one arm over your head. With the other hand, push three fingers slowly into the painful area and RELEASE it quickly! If you experience a severe sharp pain upon release, then it might be appendicitis. Appendicitis is also usually accompanied by a fever , sweating, vomiting, and severe sharp pains in the lower quadrant of your right side. You must see the doctor if the pain continues or if any other symptoms are present, or you risk a burst appendix and once that poisoned infection is let loose in your gut, then you're in a lot of trouble and will end up fighting to live. Gas, expansion of the 'sack' around the liver, damage to the right kidney temporary or permanent, diseases affecting the duodenum, bruising of your ribcage from sleeping on it, inflammation of one of the testes, acid reflux, lower lung inflammation or infection, etc.These are some, there are others that are not included here, it's probably either gas, sleeping on it, or acid reflux. If it persists, becomes very painful, or you begin to notice other symptoms you should see a doctor.

Hey, I'm 16 and had a burst appendix two months ago. Is is a really sharp pain, made worse but coughing or walking? did it start off as a pain near your belly button and then spread to your side? If yes, then it probably is appendicitis (just be glad if yours isn't burst!) but its not too bad, i have a rally high pain tolarence and I was ok with it. You don't need to go to A&E when your parents come home, just go to the doctor, he/she will feel your belly and if they think that it is your appendix then they will send you to the hospital. Why does my right side of my stomach hurt after masterbation....HELP!?
ok so if i dont masterbate for a couple days i feel normal, but once i do it seems harder to urinate, and when i wake up the next moring my stomach hurts and i have to urinate...but during the day i dont feel the urge to urinate...ive already been to the doctor once, and they did a prostate exam and everything checked out fine...help please
