Why does my cat like the cage?
I have a bird cage and my bird passed away recently and i still have her cage in my living room cuz im planning on getting another bird. Anyway, my little sister took the wooden stick out of the cage for some reason and my cat goes inside it now that she can fit without the stick being in the way and just curls up and sleeps. Sometimes she just goes in there and sits and stares at our bunny. We dont close the cage door cuz she only stays in there for like 30 min the most (unless shes a asleep). Ive read that cats dont like cages and my other cat doesnt like it either but this one goes in on her own even though its a bird cage so why is she doing that? And since im already asking a quesitom on here i have another one, i dont have a pet carrier so whenever we take our cat out in the car (vet) she does get scared and curls up on my lap but she also starts giving me love bites and especially when im driving she will go into the back seat and out of nowhere gently bites my elbow. It doesnt hurt it actually tickles a bit so thats how i know its a love bite. So my question is if my cat is afraid of being in the car why does she give me love bites? I know shes afraid of the car cuz whenever we open the door she tries to get out. Sorry this is long.

It's very simple you are her family and she is feeding her "kitten" . Thank her for being a good "mommy" she's rewarding you for caring for her.

Hey it really is too bad that your cat is catching birds. I just hope she is up on her shots because she can catch a lot of diseases from birds. My cat used to do that but he was mostly and outdoor cat. He would only come in when he wanted to sleep or show me something. So I'd go outside and there on the lawn would be his prized catch. They do this because they know that you love them and to show that they love you they want you to know what they've done. There is absolutely nothing wrong with your cat. Just her way of saying hey look what I did, aren't you proud?
